We will be celebrating our 10th anniversary and we've NEVER been to Disney World :)

Would love some advice for a special dinner.

Thanks :beach:

If it will be just the two of you dining, Victoria and Alberts...no contest.

If your daughter will be along, I'd choose Citricos, California Grill, Narcoossee's or Jiko. California Grill and Narcoossee's can both be loud but the views make up for it. Service and food are great at all four. All four have plenty of WDW magic IMO.

Congratulations!

V & A would be the top one just did this on my 25th back in April.
Also in April we went to which all was very nice and very good were:
Cali Grill
Citrico's
Narcoossee's

Happy Anniversary!!! :lovestruc

I guess romantic/special and dinner would depend on your tastes. For some it may be CS and a walk around the WS. For others it may be one of the high-end resturants. Others may prefer to dine with princesses or fuzzy characters.:confused3

For DH and I it would probably be an earlier dinner at 9 Dragons (Hubby loves Chinese food--and theirs is very good) walk the showcase (without the kids whining about walking) and have dessert at Coral Reef. Can't believe I just wrote that cause Epcot is my least favorite park! Guess we would have spent the first part of the day at one of the other parks.

Thanks - it will be just the 2 of us.

She is staying at Neverland club. ;)

Oh, V&A main dining room all the way then.

After dinner, you can stroll back to the Polynesian along the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon. Very romantic with the lights sparkling on the water.

This would be exactly the same advice that I would give! (Though I'd choose Jiko first after Victoria & Albert's)

Thanks again.

Sounds like V&A is the place, who would come in 2nd if I can't get a ressy there? :flower3:

My husband and I just returned from an anniversary trip without the kids. We had an absolutely magical time. Our most romantic meal was at Narcoosee's. Our reservations were for 7:30 and Wishes was at 8:00. Our table looked directly toward the castle. They dimmed the light and piped in the music. It was true magic that I won't forget. Check out my TR if you get a chance. The link is in my sigie. I haven't gotten to Narcoosee's yet, but it should be coming up soon. Happy Anniversary!

I too would choose Jiko's over V&A. Pls. don't slam me for saying this but I've done V&A and really didn't LOVE it! We won't be back. Just personal taste. Jiko's on the other hand, we have done 3 times and are headed back next month :)

If you don't want to do a resort restaurant or park dining, my DH and I just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at WDW this past October and we did private dining at the GF. We were on an outside balcony over looking the lagoon and we had our own butler for the night and we saw the water pageant, the fireworks from Illuminations and dessert is timed to start during the Wishes fireworks. You can see the top of the castle from the balcony so you have a great view of Wishes. If there is inclement weather, they have a room on the floor above that our butler said is very nice and you have the same view. The food was excellent and the experience was awesome! Our butler was fabulous, knew when to disappear, when to serve, etc. It can seem expensive but it was $85 per person plus tax and gratuity and a $75 butler fee. I called 407-824-2578 an dealt with a woman names Linda. You give her your e-mail address and she will send you the particulars. You e-mail them what your likes and dislikes are and the chef prepares a special menu just for you.

Whatever you decide, have a great trip and Happy Anniversary!

I would recommend a private dining experience at the Grand Floridian as well. If unavailable, Victoria and Albert's is fantastic. Both of these are rather expensive... if price is an issue then I would take Le Cellier in Epcot (Canada pavillion).

Wow, this would be a magical and memorable anniversary for the both of you. Enjoy and have fun.

Have a safe and romantic trip coming. :)

If by romantic you mean "quiet", you have only a few options. V&A is clearly the best choice. IF not, Citrico's is probably the most quiet/romantic of the
actual WDW operated restaurants. And it's located right outside V&A!!
