I am looking for a very romantic rest in Disney. I am planning on re-proposing to my wife to get re-married for our 15th anniversary and trying to come up with a nice proposal. I was planning on having dinner and then doing something fun or special for the proposal. What are your opinions?

Victoria & Alberts is by far the most romantic restaurant in WDW I think.

I think romance has a lot to do with the individual person and what their "idea" of romance is. I have not been to V&A's and I can see where people would find that romantic. Romance to some people means a very adult restaurant with few children. My husband would not want to get dressed up in a suit for V&A's though and I think we'd enjoy a dinner at California Grill with a view of the fireworks at the Castle even more. I also like the idea of eating at the Flying Fish at the Boardwalk and then strolling along barefoot on the beach near YC/BC. I would go with your wife's idea of romance and plan around that. Just my $0.02. Wish my husband would "plan ahead" for our 10th next year, but he usually needs me to do the planning :confused3

Another vote for Bistro De Paris. It is upstairs in the France section of Epcot and is very quiet with few children, (at least when we were there). The food was great and then you can stroll around the WS after dinner, watch Illuminations and the BW is just a quick 10min. walk away. I know I constantly bash the Cal. Grill, but we found it WAY too noisy and crowded feeling to be considered 'romantic'.

Really, Victoria and Albert's. Not only is it quiet and subdued, but there are no children. And you may get the best meal ever in your life.

I vote V&A's too. It's one place where you truly feel like the experience is above and beyond other dining experiences.

If V&A isn't in your budget, how about Flying Fish or Jiko?

I would ask the host CM to be seated in a quiet area.

Here's another vote for Victoria and Alberts! Another romantic re-proposal would be to do private dining on a private boat during Wishes or Illuminations!

Thanks for all your help. I will do V&A. Now I just have to come up with the propoal ideas. :cool1:
