Our first day in Orlando (Monday next week) we are not going to be visiting a park due to our middle-of-the-night arrival the night before.
So I would like to do a little exploring of the resorts that day with the primary aim of hitting the Polynesian Village to try to get a spot at Trader Sam's. I'm thinking of aiming for an early/mid-afternoon arrival at the Poly to get on the waitlist (though I'm tempted to move the time back a couple of hours to be able to try the famous Tonga Toast, but I digress).
We'll be starting and ending at Disney Springs (planning on trying to hit Jock Lindsey's at the end of the day).
I know we could always just take a shuttle bus from DS to Poly but that seems so boring when there are so many more interesting ways to get around that also might allow us to see more of the resort areas. Monorail, Skyliner, ferries, whatever - I'm not concerned about time but am interested in maximum fun and sightseeing.
Any suggestions?
