Most favorite wdw souvenier you ever bought?

My favourite souvenirs are my Mickey sneakers (alas! worn to destruction), and my Undertaker Mickey plush doll (from Haunted Mansion).

Our most useful souvenir, and not an expensive one, was the tigger magnet bottle opener we keep on the fridge.

Kungaloosh!
Mort.

About five (maybe seven?) years ago, they had Grumpy jester-style ski hats with an embroidered pic of Grumpy and his name embroidered below it- very cool... Ours are still going strong, which is a good thing since the one's they have sold recently don't hold a candle to the first version :)

Blessings,

My favorite souvenier was purchased for my husband and I at Cinderella's castle. It was a blown glass cake topper of Mickey and Minnie surrounded by a heart with bells hanging over them. It was so beautiful sitting on top of our wedding cake that was decorated with hidden mickeys all over it! It was from my mom and dad which made it more special.

That sounds so PRETTY!!! I never really looked at the fancy crystal stuff, but i love cinderella's castle!:hyper:

My epcot snow globe, SSE is in center with all the countries around it. SSE lights up and plays celebrate the future. It's my favorite souvenier. :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

Mine is a miniature glass beer stein purchased on my honeymoon at the Germany pavillion in Epcot 15 years ago. It has Mickey on the front dressed in traditional german attire. All these years later I use it to keep my dd's teeth in after they fall out. Of course, this information is strictly confidential, just between us and the tooth fairy!

Some of my favorite osuvenirs are ones that I saved from my early visits as a child; like a 1970's WDW pennant, a complete A-E Ticket Book (framed now to preserve and display it), an EPCOT Center magnet from October 1982... I could go on and on... :D

I didn't buy it but. . . I would have to go with my tinkerbell production cell from the Disneyland television show frontierland opening sequence (dressed in native american garb). A friend bought it at the Art Corner in Disneyland in the early 60's for $1 and gave it to me out of the blue! Sometimes the magic rubs off.

Funny, I was just thinking about this today - my all time fave is something my Dad bought for me MANY years ago at a gift shop in the Contemporary. I had a thing (and still do) for sperm whales, and they had a huge candle (luckily I didn't notice because I hate candles, but this was unscented) in the shape of a gray sperm whale.

I had been entranced by it and he went back and bought it after we had left the store and gave it to me later. That was probably a good 28-30 years ago, and I still have it, in perfect shape, through about 8 house moves.

i love the idea of the snowglobe, especially w/ the countries! how large is it?:hyper:

Is there anyone that has a snapshot of these cubes? Are they the same ones that sometimes have a rose or dolphin suspended in them?

Mine was given to me. On the last day of our trip, my husband said he would be right back. He wanted to get me something. Well, my mind began to wander and I got excited thinking about what it could be. It was a Mickey pizza cutter. I have to admit, at first, I was a little dissappointed. I use it almost everyday now though and always think of that trip and him. We use it to cut sandwiches, etc. I always smile when I grab it out of the drawer.

I have it as well, but mine is a slightly different version, from 2000. It is about 7" diameter and 8" high.

No doubt about it, its my 100 years of magic mug...I use it everyday at work.

My most special WDW item is the Winnie the Pooh charm that my hubby got me on our honeymoon trip. It is something I will treasure forever.

My most special DL item is my mouse ears. I mentioned one time that I thought the ears with your name were cute, and would be something special for a first trip. But since I didn't get them on our first trip it was kinda a waste of money. At DL on our first night I was looking around in a store and then found hubby. He handed me my ears with my name on them--and they are THE original--from our first (hopefully we can have more) trip to DL. Very special. We spent that whole trip wearing our ears and were even put on the monitors at WWTBAM.

My pearls from Disney world. On our honeymoon, dh bought me a pearl necklace and bracelet from the magic kingdom. Then 1yr later he surprised me with a trip and I got a pearl from japan. 3 years ago we went and I got another one. This time he bought me 3. One from each of the men in my life. Him and my 2 boys. The frist one is on a pendent. The second is on a ring and the other 3, I will save and get more next time and make a pearl by the yard necklace or bracelet.

My gold mouse head necklace on a gold chain...goes so well with everything and I wear it all the time. I get a new one each year as the gold wears off it from so much wear and my perfume I guess.....

My WDW pens I use at work all the time...:D
