Most favorite wdw souvenier you ever bought?

My favorites are all the "ride" pictures we have purchased or any of the other "professional" pics we have gotten there. I always put them in a nice WDW frame & have them displayed in different areas of our house.

Others are the portraits I had done of my 3 DD's at the Beach Club when they were 7, 4 & 4. They are precious & priceless!!

My next favorite is my WDW luggage. I have purchased one piece on our last 2 trips & I'm saving my Disney $'s so I can get some more. I know it's corny, but I love "showing off" my black luggage with the colorful WDW Mickey logo on it!

DD collects snowglobes. On our first visit she got a very basic snowglobe with the castle inside. On our most recent visit she got a HUGE double globe with lights and music and Tinkerbelle flies around it!! It is beautiful. And barring any earthquakes or other accidents, she will probably have this forever! She had worked hard to save $100 Disney dollars before the trip, so she was able to pay for it almost all herself. The hardest part was getting it home on the plane in one piece!............P

I love my big Eeyore mug. I use it for coffee in the morning and hot chocolate at night. I plan on getting another mug everytime I go.

I can't speak for my wife, but my favorite souvenier is the collector's set of pins for the four parks. One pin for each park, and their quality is excellent. The colors on them are extremely vibrant. I love just pulling them out and taking a look at them. We plan on getting a shadow box to display them in.

I love the silhouette and a caricature drawing I got of DD at Disneyland when she was about 5. Those are my very favorites. She was so cute back then--not that she's not still cute at 13 but she was cuddlier then!

Sorry - I meant to edit my own post not "quote it"!!!

I collect different Winnie The Pooh and Stitch items - my favorite is my statue that has Tigger pouncing on Pooh.

I also purchased a Winnie the Pooh in his night cap wearing a shirt that features the Winne the Pooh Ride. It still smells like honey (I purchased him at Pooh's Corner).

I also purchased a small "toy" of pooh and tigger sitting in the honey pot shaped car for Winnie the Pooh ride. It is still in the packaging, but I have it on my desk at work.

My big Disney Photo Album. It holds a ton of pictures and there is a place next to each photo slot to write a discription, memory, etc.
I look at it everyday...okay so we've only been home for a week and I'm having withdrawls but it helps some!;)

I bought a Mickey keychain on my first trip in 1975, and used it till it broke a few years ago. Everytime I used my keys, it reminded me of that first trip! People would always ask me about it when they saw it, too, so then I could talk about my favorite place!

I also buy Christmas ornaments, and jewelry. We used to buy little statues for a shadow box, until we filled two boxes and didn't have room for more!

Double barrel cap pistol from POC. This was early 80's durring a trip with my parents. DS plays with it now.pirate:

We went to WDW a couple of weeks before Christmas last year. We browsed through the shops, but didn't buy much - we usually don't bring home a lot of souvenirs. But I always love looking in the Crystal Shop on Main Street because I remember watching the glass blowers in the equivalent shop in Disneyland as a kid, and wanting a small something-or-other they made then, and for one reason or another, not being able to have one.

So my husband watched me look around, and somehow knew that my eyes had lingered just that split second longer on a small crystal Cinderella's castle. I really liked it, but I don't spend $150 on souvenirs. I just don't.

So we watched Spectromagic from the train station, and when the parade had passed our position, we began making our way toward the Castle to stake out a spot for the fireworks. To avoid the crowds on the sidewalk, we walked through the shops, and when we got to the Crystal Shop my husband stopped and bought me the castle. Just as we walked out of the shop back onto Main Street, the Spectromagic Cinderella's carriage passed by. The music was playing, and everything was as lit up and as happy as I felt.

I've put the Castle and a small 25 watt lamp on my make-up table, and I love to turn on that lamp when it starts to get dark at night, as the only illumination in our room. As I pass by the room, or go in and out to retrieve something in the evenings, the light from the lamp makes the Castle sparkle, and I think of that really magical night. ::MinnieMo

I bought a really nice Seiko Mickey watch about 8 years ago that I still wear every day. I wanted a Mickey watch, but I wasn't really planning to spend as much money as I did. DW talked me into it. :-)

I also like the family pictures we get each year at Chef Mickey's. All ten of us go (my family, my parents and my brother's family) and it's fun to see how the kids grow each year.

I have a small Disney change purse that fits perfectly in the pockets of my scrub tops--rather than having to lock up a big purse in a locker every day, I just use the change purse and keep it in my drawer. I love having it as a daily reminder of WDW!

What a great story! What a great dh! Thanks for sharing!

I love my Splash Mountain ride picture that was taken when we were riding with my grampa. You can't put a price on a memory like that. And besides, the look on his face with his hands up in the air is priceless :D .
I also love the links that I got for my bracelet that has the removable links. I'm sure you've seen them at some point. They're the Italian charm bracelets. It was my 8th grade graduation present (a few years ago), and I found a couple links when we shopped in DTD this year. I love them.
We also get the ornaments every trip. I have 3 now I think (we just started a few years ago) and I love those too.

My glass slipper, Dh bought me Cinderella's slipper on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. It has a place of honour on our mantle.

I like my Haunted Mansion clock (the one with the number 13 at the top of the dial) that was one of the purchases available for the Happy Haunts Event last year. Even if I can't see it, I get to hear it chime from wherever I am in my condo.

My favorite Souvenier is my "Cooking with Mickey" Cookbook I bought on my Honeymoon 12 years ago. I love it. Whenever I'm missing WDW, I just pull it out and choose a recipe from one of WDW restaurant recipes.

my Mickey Mouse Ears Fuzzy Dice!!!!!

lol - I hadn't bought anything on our trip - I mostly just love my pictures. We had just come off Test Track and were looking around the gift shop when my husband comes running up with them. He was so excited that he found something for me. I love being able to flashback on our vacation whenever I'm sitting in a traffic jam, or there is a snowstorm.
