Been there. I will usually stay at the "convention hotel" since some events and transportation is usually from that hotel and if I am travelling alone I don't want to be out wandering by myself.
The only exception would be Disney but then it was the Coronado so I stayed there because I wanted to.
I just got back home this evening. I wasn't at a convention, but it was a hotel with convention facilities, so I guess that gives them the right to charge for internet access.
It was either that or Glen na. That didn't go over to well.
No, it wouldn't.
Our group had another Glen with one "n" so it differentiated the two of them. Not like we should used a last name or anything.
Yeah, you wouldn't want to do that!
One was a Wilson so Wil was short for that. The other one, I am not sure but they both worked for me at different times so they were both Wil with one "l".
If it was short for William, you would have Will with two "l's".
Uh huh.
I can't remember if I commented on your last update, but I did love all your squinty pictures and I think you should so a picture with everyone is dark shades next time you visit. Oh yeah - dark shades AND hats!
Hey, thanks. Yes, we should have taken a sunglasses picture; it would definitely have been better than what we got.
So last week you gave me nothing to read while at work and no distractions from writing papers for school, what gives?
You're welcome for the no distractions so that you could get your work and paper writing done! But, it's nice to hear that you're eagerly awaiting the next installment. I was really busy with work and evening activities the last couple of weeks, and earlier this week (like until an hour or so ago) I was traveling. I thought maybe I could work on an update in the evenings, but it didn't happen.
I am even sitting here watching my DS put fruit loops inside his dads guitar hoping that you had an update.
Ooo, those'll be fun to get out.
You're too observant. No one was supposed to notice my -
Good thing you didn't use an *. Then you'd say, "No one was supposed to notice my asterisk".
But, I always like to do something like that also, in order to have the udpate at the top of the next page. I saw that your latest update was at the top and so I went to the prevous page just to see if it was coincidental or not...
Rosie, the "e" is supposed to be added TO THE MIDDLE.
So it would be R O S E I E. But then, we'd have to start singing,"Rosie, Rosie, had a farm, e, i, e, i, ohhhh...." It could get ugly.
What about Roesie?

WHAT??!!

5 pages of chit-chat and still no update??!!! I'm starving!

J/K
Sorry Trib! I've been busy, what can I say? Glad you're checking-in periodically though.
Yeah really! You people and your difficult name spelling
Don't skimp on the "n's"!
Oh boy.... I really did open a can of worms on this one....
What's new?
My mother is the one who pinned the spelling of my name on me.....and everybody else likes to change it for me.

It is spelled t a n y a. The first "a" is like the "o" in hot and not like the "a" in can. When I correct a mis-pronunciation, they assume it's spelled wrong. The funny thing is....there were 3 of us in high school at the same time, two of us spelled and pronounced it the same way, the 3rd spelled hers t a n I a and pronounced it the other way.
I want to be surprised at that, but I'm sure you do get a lot of people who are confused. But Tanya is a fairly common name, usually spelled the way yours is. Definitely, the t-o-n spelling is the unusual one.
