Most Embarrassing

So I know that a few people on here have played the characters or character attendants at the parks and I was wondering what was the most embarrassing question a guest has asked to or asked about a character? Maybe you even heard one while waiting for an autograph or picture. Just curious.

A friend of mine used to date a guy who was Friends with Aladdin.

When she was in line to say hi to Aladdin, there were some annoying teenie girls in front of her who were squeeing over Aladdin, saying some pretty nasty/weird stuff like "I want to touch his tushie", "Wonder if he'll give me a magic carpet ride"... Stuff like that.

Needless to say, she was none too impressed.


Jack Sparrow got a lot of attention like that as well.

So its not really embarrasing but I was in line to meet Goofy and Pluto at AK and this parents ust blurts out loud "Goofy and Pluto aren't real..." because thei child was asking if it was the real characters. I turned around (as a guest) and said "Way to crush everyones dreams and childhoods." Then the guy left.

I don't get why parents would just blurt that out in a park.

This isn't really a character attendant story, but it's a funny anecdote I guess:
I worked at Mickey's Philharmagic in MK and one day I was getting all of the glasses out of the 3D glasses return bin because a show had just let out. Then this mother came up to me and she was holding her son who was probably about 3 and he was just crying his eyes out. She said to me: "Can you reassure my son that Donald is ok after crashing into that wall? He's really concerned". haha soooo cute! So I just told him that Donald was fine and was inside setting up for the next show right now! He seemed to feel better after that. Poor thing! Sometime I forget how much kids believe

Oh one of my favorites was overheard during Wishes, it wasn't embarrassing just hilarious. A girl on her fathers shoulders goes "Dad why's Tinkerbell done for the night?" and her dad goes "Because she's union."
My friends and I laughed about that one for days afterward.

I can't even tell you how many awkward questions I've been asked as an attendant. There's the always great "is that a boy or girl in there?" question, followed by listening to the guest's theories- one time, a guest actually stuck his hand down Minnie's dress to feel around, creating an incredibly awkward situation for everyone involved. One time a woman told me she had a crush on Tigger and asked if I thought he'd be interested. And proceeded to attack Tigger quite inappropriately when it was her turn- kinda embarassing to yell "please stop attempting to straddle Tigger!" in that type of situation...

Why are some guests so weirddddd lol. Thankfully I worked back stage as costuming butttt my roommate would always come home with stories. During Grad Night at MK six different little high school boys gave her their phone numbers. One pushed her up against a wall outside Casey's, very intoxicated, and he got kicked out. Seriously?

I was in Attractions, but a guest put me in a really awkward situation concerning characters on one of my last days. I was at the Splash Mtn. coloring table during refurb and a lot of parents and kids were gathered around chatting and coloring. A mom asked me some questions about my role such as "What was your training like? Did you have to pass a test proving you knew stuff like where the bathrooms are?" Then all of a sudden she blurts out "What about auditioning to be princesses? How does all that work?" All the parents nearby started glaring at me. She was persistent, but I stuck to the usual responses and eventually she gave up and got the point.

I've gotten a lot of awkward questions as a character attendant (the usual ones like "is it a boy or girl in there", " does it get hot in there", "do they have AC in the costume", ect). But probably the cutest question I've gotten has been in attractions. I was on the loading dock at GMR, and a dad came up to me with his son (around 4 or so). The dad asked me to reassure his son that Mugsi (the gangster) was ok, as the son believed that Mugsi really died

I would often be asked "How many Mickeys are in the park today?"

Even after I gave the typical "There's only one Mickey" response I kept getting pushed about it. The guy was holding up a line of hungry children waiting for their ice cream bars too...

My DD is currently friends with a fur all would assume to be male. She said she can't count the number of times she has had her backside grabbed and had dirty comments whispered in "her" rather the fur character's ear by women of all ages! She was shocked! She thinks in most cases they are just trying to get a reaction--they are trained to ignore such things.

Some people can be quite persistant, eh? I must have had the letters "CP" tattood on my forehead b/c no matter where I was guests would know I was a CM. one time on the tram going to epcot a guest must have asked me 7 or 8 times how many mickeys there were. Seriously?!? He was at least mid 30's low 40's... and had his young son there right next to him. I mean c'monnnnn. Of course I stuck to the story and he asked me all the other usual crazy questions like... "what's the cable going out of cinderella's castle" " do they have a/c in the costumes" blah blah blah. I had something ready for every one of his questions though. I was impressed. Especially workin' in the resorts

My favorite is its Jac and Gus Gus's escape route for when Lucifer comes to visit. They also use it to play in the parks. A quick route to tomorrowland without the fear of feet.
