Most Embarrassing Cruise Moment....

That's not fare that should have been worth at least 25.00 :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:
I wouldn't have done it for under $50. But this child can walk in a store for a clearance sale and come out with a sack of clothes having only spent $30!!!!
She's the coupon QUEEN! Lots of great stories here :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

The Place? Eastern cruise last October.
The Cast? Two immature 49 year olds.

DH and I were racing down the stairs. Him on one side and me on the other. My heel caught the edge of the stair. I twisted my ankle, my shoe went flying and I took a tumble down a few of the stairs. Another passenger and his young son were standing at the elevator when the little boy yells out..."Oooooh Daddy, that lady just fell down the stairs". The man was whispering (quite loudly) "don't look, don't look, don't look"!! The little boy said, "why not daddy...that was so funny". The poor man had to ask me if I was ok the whole time he was laughing so hard. I was laughing so hard that I was crying. My DH finally realized that I was not following anymore (I was still up on deck 7 and he got all the way down to 3 before he realized it). Another child told him that I was dead on the stairs and that he better hurry up before he misses all the fun! Gosh...you gotta just love little kids!!

I ended up with a sprained ankle but I survived. :teeth:

Ok Guys I have one: Me my dh, my ds15, and dd18 were in the 1st 10-day christmas cruise in 04. It has been a long running joke in our house that my dd18 will do just about anything to make a quick buck while my ds15 has no concept of money. He once lost his wallet with $80 in it and just shrugged it off. My dd lost $40 once and my dh had to literally calm her down out of hysterics. We thought she would need years of therapy to get over that one! So on our cruise I set out to prove that dd would indeed do just about anything for$$$. So I tolds her that I would give her $10 if she wore an Incredibles mask all evening (from about 3pm until she went to bed) on the ship, through dinner and everything. We had the masks because we were celebrating my dh's 40th b'day on the cruise. She jumped at the offer. So during the show (Taylor Mason, ventriliquist) we made sure to draw plenty of attention to her. When Taylor saw her she immediately turned BEET RED. He asked her IN THE THEATRE in front of everyone what bet she lost!!! Then he made her come up on stage and they put her and her violet mask on the BIG SCREEN!!! Did I forget to mention that the other part of the bet was that whenever anyone asked her why she had the mask on she had to do her best Incredibles impersonation and say, very loudly "BECAUSE I'M VIOLET". Needless to say he had alot of fun with her. She was very embarassed, but still thought the $10 bucks was worth it. Ds says noway he would have ever done it. The last cruise we went on was Sept 05 and Taylor was on once again. He remembered dd and wrote her a little note and even called her Violet! Now we have a picture of Taylor, Amber(dd) and "Romeo" the puppet to help us remember this great moment :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

What a riot!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

And...also a great story and memory! We loved Taylor and Romeo and our three-year-old impersonates him all the time. In fact, our kids talk about Taylor and his puppets at least twice a week since our cruise!

Anyway, thanks for sharing and for the laugh! :rotfl:
