Most Creative Disney Photographer

Ive read recently that someone had Paul Looper and were over the moon with him (irrespective of what people say about disney photograhers - altho i've never read any)

So, who would you put the closest to Randy's style?

To be honest, any photo that i've seen of a DFTW i thought looked professional so i'm not worried about having a disney photograher. Altho I will look further into it when it comes to booking. Can you request a certain disney photographer?

Paul Looper seems to be a favorite but he no longer works for Disney.My planner told me he moved out of state with his girlfriend (we had requested him for our MK portraits)

I think Mike Strictland and Ty are other favorites.

I think we need an example thread of each photographers work. Id love Randy because of his style, but having the ceremoney and reception in park means I really need to know whats available to us.

I had Joe Duncan and Mike for our wedding.. both were wonderful...
and then we had TY at the MK shoot.. he was good, but I actually liked Mike and Joe better.

But.. I don't think you would be dissapointed with any of them!

I can't find anything in google for Mike Strickland or Amy Alexander (the other popular Disney photographers).

My daughter was married in May and she had Mike Strickland and Joe Duncan also and they were wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the pictures came out gorgeous and they even photographed the rehearsal dinner as well. They also used Disney videophotography and the DVD came out beautiful!!!!

Is Joe Duncan always paired with Mike? Is he Mike's assistant?

Just curious. I haven't heard much about Joe before.

Joe was our main photographer and Mike was the one taking pictures from the side..
so I don't think Joe was his assistant..

If I requested a specific shot.. Mike ran off to do it while Joe stayed with the more traditional angles

In order to have the copyright to the photos you need to purchase the hi-res CD/DVD. While most of the offsite photographers include that in their packages, Disney doesn't necessarily (there are specific circumstances where they do, i.e. UK Escape brides).

The cost of the CD is fairly high initially (about $1000). You can see if there is a slight discount if you pre-purchase the CD (I know at least one bride got a small discount this way). Your other option is to wait three years to buy the CD/DVD at about half the original cost (less than half for Escape brides).

OH NO! Do you men for the wedding day or the park shoot?

I wont pry, but i hope it gets sorted out. Is there anything future brides need to be careful of if you can give advice?
