I love Hanted Mansion and POTC because they are truly unique and you can't find anything like them anywhere. It is amazing to me that these rides are decades old because the effects still amaze me. I still remeber the first time I rode HM and saw the head in the crystal ball.

I agree. The first time I rode ToT at MGM and the 'vator LEFT the SHAFT...
my jaw became UNHINGED!

But I guess the Imagineers didn't think it was important enough to the "show" to include this portion of the ride in the DCA version of ToT in California. I have not ridden that version yet, but I read that the elevators don't "cross-over" in that one.

I've been on the DCA one and the budget for it was almost half IIRC, it's still a fun ride, and has its own unique elements (a few times the ride vehicle starts shaking when you're watching different scenes), but I definitely prefer the MGM version, its much longer and much more spooky

Correct, they don't "cross over" instead you get another scene before the hallway scene, there's a large mirror and then everyone turns into ghost like images.

Also, the voiceover isn't quite as good as MGM's, it to me sounds a lot less like Rod Serling.

I think the most creative is HM. One night I went on it 3 times in a row and each time I saw something new. And that's afte being on/in it at least a dozen times on previous trips. The detail's amazing!

Oh no, I still say POTC is the most creative, but the more I think about it, the TOT is more than just a drop ride, even if that was probably the original inspiration.

I can't pick just one, but I think Fantasmic, Voyage of TLM and Soarin' are very creative. So was Tarzan Rocks before it got closed.

It's hard to pick just one, because it's the clever use of detail on almost all the rides and parks that gets me, but for me it is probably ITTBAB for most clever and the great que.
