what is it?

I would have to say the drumb set my loopy sister bought my son is #1
(and the baby loves it too :rotfl2: )

the nerf guns my SIL bought my sons.... argh...

It not so much the toys that are annoying it is the setup and those stupid ties they use to hold down the toys. It takes forever just to get the toys out of the boxes

Barbie Fashion Mall... 100+ pieces. Dreading the opening of the box!

My aunt bought my cousin one of those sit-'n'-spin things. It makes this noise. Its like "Simon Says spin slower, Simon Says stop spinning" and there is music in the backgroung. He played with it for 10 minutes and we were like okay, let's hide it. I think my aunt (my cousin's mom) wanted to leave it at my other aunt's (the one that bought it) house so that she wouldn't have to put up with it.

My mom bought DD a kid's (little tikes) karaoke machine. Um, that one is staying at Grandma's house!

I am a stickler, I have no problem tell my parents the obnoxious toys stay at their house!

Nintendogs!!! And, I was the one that bought it for her! All day yesterday we heard, "Sit! Sit down! Maddie, sit down! Sit!". Plus, to make matters worse, she named her Nintendogs Lab puppy Maddie, which is what our real Lab is named, so everytime she called the dog while playing the game, our real dog would get excited thinking she was being called! Poor thing!

Before I wrap, I undo all of the ties, then put the toys back in the box. akes Christmas day much more pleasant. Now, if I can just train the grandparents! :rotfl:

This is EXACTLY what I was about to type!!!!!!!! My daughter LOVES this toy - and I know she will play with it for a long time, so I'm really happy she got it. BUT - she named her puppy after our dog, too, and every time she says the puppy's name our poor dog gets up and goes to see what she wants this time. It's cracking me up!!! But starting to get on my nerves, too...

Chicken Limbo - that song drives me crazy!!

That's a good idea! I'm going to try that next year. I always manage to cut myself somehow on those ties and break a few nails trying to peel the tape off.

Definatley the make up set that was given to dd6 from one of the IL's. It came with all kinds of sparkly sticky make up and nail polish - I already took it and hid it from her. The funny thing is it came from the same person that got her a similiar make up kit last year that I also threw away. I definatley think next year I'm going to give her two little girls make up sets!!!!!!!!!

I got that Barbie Mall a couple months ago when they had the 50% off clearance price. I know what I paid for it. I then decided a couple weeks ago I didn't want 100 plus pieces around the house so I brought it back w/out receipt :( I was willing to take 10$ LESS just so I wouldn't have those pieces around the house. :rotfl2:

I couldn't agree with you more!!! They're so annoying.

My kids didn't really get annoying gifts this year, but my DD got a set with 2 princess dresses in it that are too small, which annoyed me. My aunt got them for her. She never gets the right sizes.

This one had me laughing...........is that a combination of 'drum' and 'dumb'??!!

:rotfl: :rotfl:

We have that same toy and we took the batteries out so it's a quiet sit n spin now!

MY MIL got all three of my kids these Dalmation hand puppets that bark Christmas tunes. OMG.

:rotfl2: I totally agree. Thankfully, DD named hers Lucky, but still...

I'd have to say our most annoying gift was the Fender guitar amplifier we gave DS19. OMG, he thinks he's Eddie Van Halen(if he even knows who that is :rotfl: ) If I have to hear "Stairway to Heaven" one more time, let alone Metallica....Oh no, he's home....there he goes again :faint:

We got one too. I don't think it's going to be the hit that everyone thought. We played with it for about 20 minutes this morning.

Although, DD 4 1/2 constantly blows raspberries when she's mad, so the chicken "raspberries" kind of fits!

DD11 - her Nintendogs for all the reasons listed above!

DD7 - a karaoke machine from my MIL.
