I guess you guys have all heard about this by now but yesterday one of our bases near Mosul came under attack. That is where the 101st Airborne is (for the most part) and more importantly to me personally, that is where Titus is currently. Thankfully the guys with the rockets apparently didn't have proper launchers and they improvised. They where trying to take out some of the apaches on the airfield but didn't do too much damage and there where no casualties.
Titus IM'ed me today and told me that the attack occured while we were IM'ing the day before. He said while we were talking they started firing the rockets and everyone was yelling 'incoming' so he jumped up and grabbed his weapon and ran for cover. I didn't think anything about it when he just quit talking because it happens all the time. I'm really thankful it all turned out fine and that Titus is alright.
