It's been said that it's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt. I think this is very applicable to me when trying to talk about the Morocco Pavilion. The thing is, I really don't care much for this pavilion, in fact it is by far my least favorite of all the countries in the World Showcase. If I were to try and talk about it either 1 of 2 things would happen – I would either come as sounding pretty foolish trying to talk about something that I really care little about, or I would come across as being overly negative, which I really don't want to do.

I really can't put my finger on it why I don't care for this pavilion. I've been in it quite a few times. I've taken time to explore all the little shops, and look into the nooks and crannies, but I still don't care that much for it. If it wasn't for my wife (who appreciates it much more than I do), I would probably be content to just skip it most of the time.

However, I know that there are quite a few people who love this pavilion, and rather than alienating or offending them, I thought I would do something a bit different for this review. Rather than me going on and on about it, I thought I would post some pictures I've taken, and then let others tell what they like about this land. Rather than me saying anything negative, I thought it would be better to have others share positive comments.

So here's your chance to say what you like (or if you prefer, what you don't like) about the Morocco pavilion.

I LOVE the Morocco Pavilion! First, it's beautiful and the attention to detail is amazing (as always with Disney). When you get off the main path, you can really imagine that you're there. It's even aged - with chip and worn tile.
Also, Tangierine Cafe is the best CS spot in Epcot IMHO....
And after reading a post about it the other day, I think I'm going to get henna tattoo's for my daughter and me next time!

I also love it. The CS food is wonderful. The details excellent. I particularly enjoy the mosaics. To each their own I guess :)

I wandered into the Morocco Pavilion for the first time around 3 years ago when it was the only restaurant available for the CP package on the date that I needed. Boy, I was surprised by the beauty of the place, and I loved the tile fountain. I am not impressed with the CS food, but my sit down meal was delicious! Nice pictures, thank you for posting them!

I really love and appreciate the Morocco pavillion~ I will most likely never go to Morocco in reality, so I feel like it's the most authentic experience we can have otherwise. I think it is one of the most beautiful pavillions with all the decorative work. Already mentioned, there are lots of nooks to explore. The shopping merchanidise is really cool from "artifacts" to clothing and jewelry, I think it's pretty neat. We also love Tangerine Cafe and my DDs have loved getting henna tattoos. My one DD loves Mo Rockin' which cracks me up (she's 9).

The CMs we've encountered at the kidcot stations have been friendly to my kids and so have the henna artists. I try to get my kids talking to them about what life is like in Morocco. They've learned a great deal.

Some of our favorite memories of the World Showcase have been in Morocco and likewise some of my favorite photos I've taken are from here as well.

Love it. The details are incredible and were originally built by the King's artisans. It's like Animal Kingdom, a lot of people don't like it and I don't understand why? Both are themed so well it's incredible, they are both beautiful. Maybe some people just don't stop to smell the roses?

Have you been in the gallery yet?

This has been my favorite pavilion ever since I was a kid, also the only place I've ever bought souvenirs in EPCOT.

I like it because I find it more "transporting" than any other pavilion. Perhaps because of the summer heat in Orlando :rotfl:. I just feel like I'm really there, when I step inside. Not that I've ever been to Morocco - it's just exactly what I imagine it would be like. Perhaps not so humid. :lmao:

When we go next year, I am penciling in a stop at Tangierine Cafe. Can't wait!

The Morocco Pavilion is my favorite. It is the only one where I feel as though I'm "there". (For example, while I did see many of the architectural styles in the UK pavilion when we were in England, they are not lined up in a row neatly on street and while the Doge's Palace does exist in Venice, the feeling is nothing like actually being at the Doge's Palace in Venice.)

But even if you don't like it, thanks so much for posting those great photos of it!

My husband and I love it for the empty quiet spaces that are there. It's nice to walk through and admire the beauty of the place. I think it's just beautiful to look at.

I loved my CS meal. The portions were huge but oh it was so good (and I thought it was hysterical that a surly teen serving fast food is a surly teen serving fast food, regardless of the food).

Can't wait to visit it next week!

I adore this pavilion. I think visually, it's gorgeous. And I always find some new nook and cranny to explore.

I am a belly dancer. I've gone into the shops where the cast members were playing drums and started dancing. My only objection is that I think it's highway robbery what they charge for their "belly dancing kits".

The shwarma platter at Tangeriene Cafe is fantastic. That's an absolute must for us.

Now I will say that we like most of the pavillions in EPCOT.

We have always found some great spots to take some great pictures. I enjoyed trying some new foods at the CS place. I find that the Cast Members here with our son are always some of the friendliest. This last year one of them was working with our son on saying the words and trying to write his name. Also the storyteller pulled our son up to play the drums when we were there for Christmas time 2010.

We also love Tangerine Cafe and eat there every trip, but my favorite part of the Morroco pavillion is that there is usually someone from Alladin hanging around with little to no lines, several years ago I had a great time with Genie when no one was around and spent about 15 minutes taking pictures and goofing off.

I've really grown to like the Morocco Pavilion. I think the architecture and theming are beautiful. I also really like the little museum on the left-hand side of the pavilion. If you take the time to look at the exhibits you won't be disappointed.

I will say that I am not a fan of the Moroccan food...I don't know why...it just doesn't do it for me.

Here's a pic of us with the camel last December. From left to right Mom's BF, Mom w/her broken foot & me. DH snapped the pic.

This is pavilion that for me, makes me feel the most transported. Maybe its the high wall tower things that prevent you from seeing outside the pavilion when you are in the back. I love the souvenirs too. I've gotten a henna tattoo, and also one of those jingly bell ankle bracelets. This is sort of silly but the last time I was there they had that eyeliner that's like a big cone shaped crayon. I was like, hey that's the same stuff that Carrie bought in Abu Dhabi in Sex and the City 2! Lol.

The Morocco pavillion is one of my favorites, it's beautiful.

Those are some incredible pictures posted in here. For some reason this is one pavillion we had somewhat overlooked in past years, despite our love for the Tangierine Cafe. Last year we actually spent some time there looking around and I couldn't believe how much we had been missing!!

Lugnut33, where was that picture taken?

Morocco is the most detailed and well themed of all of the pavillions. Once you get around the back corner you can almost forget you are in Epcot - so few people wander back there you can sometimes be all alone with towering walls and designs.

It is also pretty at night, in spite of (because of) the minimal lighting.

Sorry Goofster, I have to agree with PP's on this one. We absolutely love this pavillion. Its so easy to get lost there and totally forget you're even at Epcot. And yes, both restaurants are great!!
