If you work out first thing in the morning, do you like to eat breakfast before or after?

I only do a morning run on weekends or while on vacation (otherwise, I would have to get up way too early to be ready for work). So on the days I do, I usually eat a banana and drink a bunch of water and then run. Then I eat my actual breakfast when I get home after showering.

Definitely after. And usually a SF fruit/greek yogurt/tofu smoothie that I drink/slurp up while cleaning up after working out.
I hate working out with food in my stomach, it sometimes makes me sick. But I have never really been a eat 1st thing in the morning kind of person, so that may be why.

I feel sick if I eat first. I workout as soon as I wake up then get ready for work & eat when I get to work. I normally make a smoothie with banana blueberries spinach and walnuts or almond butter Very healthy and filling and has protein. It's also easy to drink while I'm checking emails and getting ready for my work day.

I work out after work, but when on vacation I do in the morning, and I dont eat until I finished, food taste better knowing thats over with :rotfl:

I wake up at 6:20 and start my workout at 6:30 in my basement. When I am done I shower, get dressed and get ready for work. I don't eat any breakfast until I arrive at my office at 9:00am. I may have a swig of low-fat chocolate milk after my workout if I feel my blood sugar is low, otherwise, I wait.

Morning - empty stomach cardio is the way to go! If you weight train in the morning, definitely have a little something before you do.

It depends on the workout and how I feel. If I am going to be doing intense cardio I may have half a smoothie or a banana before working out (if I don't sometimes I feel like I am going to pass out). If I am just doing a yoga practice then I don't eat anything until I have my breakfast at work.
