More ticket days than resort nights--FP+??

Ok, we have a split stay coming up in August--2 nights at AKL, booked as a regular package through Disney's website, with 6 day tickets. The next 7 nights of our stay are DVC point rental.

I get that I will be able to start making FP selections 60 days prior to my check-in date for the 2-night stay. But will I be able to make all 6 days' worth of FP selections then? I am not sure how it works since the tickets are only attached to a 2-night reservation. Does it matter?

Yes, book for all park days when your window opens. Onsite stay>onsite stay keeps the booking window open.
