More Swan Questions

I booked our ressie at the Swan this year because the rep at the Swan/Dolphin told me that the Dolphin wasn't completely remodeled yet. Is that so?

My question is...I know they share the same pool etc. How far from the Swan is the kiddie pool? Is it a long, long walk?

We stayed at the CBR last year and our room was WAY too far from the kiddie pool and food court. So I want to know what to expect.

I don't think the kiddie pool is a far walk from the Swan. We stayed on the side closest to the pools, so maybe that helped, but once you walk out the door for access to either pool, the quiet pool is basically right there...you walk just a little further past some landscaping and the kiddie pool is just there. Since it is a sprawling pool, it doesn't take you long to reach at least one edge of the pool. That's our recollection from about a year ago. I haven't stayed at CBR so I don't know how it compares. I don't think you will be disappointed. If you are wondering how it compares to access from the Dolphin, I think it is about the same or maybe closer, depending on where your room is. It is the same situation at the Dolphin - you walk past the quiet pool to get to the kiddie pool. Same difference.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Swan. We requested a room with a balcony - even though we booked the 'cheapest' room available at a discount. We did receive that balcony room and also had a nice view... overlooking the doorway that leads to the Dolphin. It wasn't bad - lots of nice landscaping and ponds and such.

We have stayed at the Dolphin 2-3 times and each time we seem to get a view of a loading dock.

I picked the swan to stay at for the same reason, and if i had to do it again, I would pick the dolphin. The dolphin is MUCH closer to the pools and it has tubbis, the food court in it.

The pool is not far from either hotel and I would hardly say that the Dolphin is much closer!

When we stayed at the Swan, we were in the rooms closest to Epcot on the East Wing. I believe these rooms are also furthest from the pool.

My son and daughter (9 and 8 respectively) never complained about heading off to the pool. And neither did my Wife or I!
