More Students Needed for May Y.E.S. classes 5/30 & 5/31

Aloha friends,
Our family has registered for Individual Youth Education Classes (YES) later this month, but they are one student short of holding the classes. If you will be in the parks on 5/30 or 5/31, please consider signing up ! It'll be fun!

Energy and Waves Physics Lab 101

Experience Disneyland® Park through the eyes of a physicist! Explore how the energies of light and sound come together to create unforgettable attraction experiences.
Students discover light and sound as forms of energy and how to use them in practical application. In this 2.5-hour academic adventure students see first-hand how these elements are a vital part of creating world class attractions and how Disney uses these physical properties to entertain and amaze guests from all over the world.

Designing a Disney Story
Get an inside look at how Disney animators create full length animated features. Learn the history of the art form, develop storytelling skills and practice techniques used to bring some of the most beloved characters of all time to life.
Learn about the complex components that work together to bring favorite Disney characters and stories to the big screen. In this 3-hour program students will study Disney's role in the history and processes used to create early animated features, as well as the innovative animation techniques used to bring the vision of modern storytellers to life. Students will explore their own storytelling skills by planning and designing a storyboard and creating a kineograph.

If you already have your park tickets, the classes are $45 or you can buy discounted tickets through the programs and then the classes are free!

How did you find out about the number signed up for your classes? Did they contact you? My son is registered for different classes on those dates, and we have not heard anything about the classes being cancelled. I did send an email today, but I have not heard back yet.

I hadn't heard either so I e-mailed my contact at the agency and he told me. He's been helpful. Terry Valentine <terryv@goworldpass.com>. Maybe we can consolidate classes? Only trouble for me is ages for the kids. The two I signed up for were the only ones all of them could attend together..

I know they do consolidate classes when they can. My son took a class in 2011 and they put him with a group of girl scouts. Boy, could they scream on Tower of Terror! He was a little uncomfortable at first, but he had a good experience.
