Well with more off site resorts getting the 60 days out option that will make the selling of all fast passes to Disney resort guest at 90 days out more marketable.

I sure hope they don't start selling fast passes! With how much park tickets cost, I have no interest in paying even more money.

Bet my paycheck on it. Our trips will start to be less frequent in the future because of the amount of money it will take in order to do the things we want. And that is fine. I am good with that, I think.

Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised either. Disneyland is already charging extra for their maxpass feature. (The ability to book fastpasses on your phone instead of using the old school paper method.) Don't know that I will be back if we reach the point where we have to pay for fastpasses. :sad2:

I would pay for an after/before hours event, but I'm not willing to buy fast passes.
There is nothing (not even new Galaxy's Edge rides) that I will want to ride so bad that I would pay for if I can't get it with an original 3 fast pass.

Yeah...bad form here. Unless Disney is saying we don't like being at 95% occupancy. Could be a way to shift some guests back to partner hotels to free up inventory for people who don't know about those hotels.

Try and book a hotel inside 60 days at the disney site....most of the times, they are out of inventory.

And paying for FP+ is something Six Flags would do. If they want the money...just raise the ticket prices again.....people will pay for that.

I'd pay for it if it was like Maxpass. I will not pay for it if it's like the current system used for CL guests.

? We book most all our trips inside of 60 days. There are plenty of rooms
Or maybe I don't get your point

All the links below only reference getting EMH not the 60 day Fastpasses (so I wouldn't consider it confirmed but still in the rumor camp, IMO). In fact Waldorf Astoria says it’s 30 days still while referencing the EMH. Also Bonnet Creek lists it still as 30 days while changing their site for EMH access. If its happening in the next 2 months, I don't see why they wouldn't have announced it at the same time. They preannounced Disney Spring hotels getting the access.

I LOVE Maxpass! I would definitely do it if they offered it at WDW. And there is talk of them monetizing SWGE FastPass so.... it’s coming in some form.

I don’t know about Disney monetizing FP’s. Would not surprise me a bit. All I know is that the Waldorf is a great hotel, great location. I have stayed there and at the Hilton Bonnet Creek (also great) 5 or 6 times since they opened in 2009. Love the rooms, the pools, the restaurants and lounges, the location, the busses are so comfy even though they don’t run as often as Disney busses, they run in a schedule and you plan around them. I will be more likely to stay there again with the 60 day window.

We love Maxpass too. No sixty days, no preplanning, and it has rendered rope drop at DCA unnecessary. We've ridden Toy Story four times in one day with Maxpass, on a fairly busy day too.

It will be interesting to see if they go a monetization route how they are going to do it. There are lot of competitors doing different things. Will they do an extension of what the Club Level guests get, a package of set rides, or per ride fee.
