More OKW questions

Since I did not want to hijack anyone else's hread:

Other than asking for a studio on a higher floor, is there anything else to try and avoid?

Also, if you are using the Magical Express, how do you get to your rooms - I mean if you are far away from the checkin area?

There is nothing to avoid at OKW- can you tell it is my favorite? The bellmen will bring you to your room via golf carts and carry the bags into your room. Have fun!

There is an internal bus at OKW that goes to the different bus stops.

We avoid smoking and HC rooms like the plague. I'd rather not be at WDW, or anywhere, with either of those choices.

We used ME in Dec and only had our carryons. We probably could have walked to building 31 but used Bell Services. He drove us over in a mini van and since it was our first OKW made sure to point out many features.

We just came back from the Expedition Everest preview. We were offered a 1st floor HC studio in #48 just opposite Southpointe bus stop. It was great!

Everyone has their own opinions. My only request as usual was no smoking. I have only been disappointed once - when I requested a specific bldg. and didn't get it. I have found striking up a pleasant conversation with the clerk at check in always helps. On several occasions they have told me they "found a better room" even though I didn't ask for it.

We always have a rental cars and at check in I tell CM that I can be far away from the HH. I aways seen to get a good room.
The best request is to go to another resort the more the word get out that OKW is super the harder it is to get a reservation, so keep those negative reports coming
