We have a booking (though WDW UK) for 14 nights at SSR with dining and tickets for next month.
We are now considering adding 2 nights immediately before the SSR booking, as we'll be in the US but may be rejigging our plans slightly. I'm thinking of staying at Pop because I believe Id then qualify to take part in magic band test and would be able to use the bands for the entirety of our 16 night stay at WDW. Am I correct in this, and in assuming that I can choose which 14 (consecutive) days I want to make FP+ res for (wed arrive late on night 1 and want to spend the next day just chilling rather than going to a park)?
Also, what would happen if the Pop booking included an extra person who wouldnt be part of the SSR booking? A Canadian family member may join us for the 2 days. Would that family member get a band even if they dont (yet) have a ticket attached? Would it mess up our entire partys bands and FP+?
And another one, what's the latest info on time constraints for customisation for UK guests? Is it anythime up to 30 days before check in, and if booked within 30 days you have til midnight the day you make the booking?
