I have tried and tried to glue down some ribbon.....what's the secret?

what are you using for adhesive? I usually either use my Xyron X or ZipDry (LOVE ZipDry)

What is Zip Dry......Can't use Xyron....it's adhered to front and won't stick to back of tag.

It's a liquid glue that I was introduced to at CKC in June. I think scrapbookpal.com carries it. I need to order another bottle soon, I want to be sure I have enough for CKU.

It holds down everything I've tried and the paper doesn't bubble or warp using it

I always use Glue Lines (from the Glue dot family). Every time I tried a liquid glue I always ended up with a mess.

I use my Xyron.. which reminds me I need adhesive for my 500.... and I use the glue lines!

My ATG gun works well for anything over 1/4" wide. For narrower stuff, I drag it across the top of a glue stick. Yes, I get a lot on my fingers.

Glue lines or glue dots are great. I've also found that Dotto glue works very well.

Oooh, I LOVE that red backed tape. I could stick myself to the ceiling with it!

OK, now that's just funny right there :rotfl2:

Where is that Tag Fairy?

I'd use glue dots, since it's already stuck on the front...but I use my xyron for it all the time.

I've use the Scotch brand Quick Dry liquid glue. It takes about 3 minutes to dry, but it does dry clear and holds really well.

If it somewhere it won't be seen, I like the Art Accentz (red backed double stick tape) best, but have used glue dots when out of the better stuff.

Oh, and I've also used just good old fashion scotch tape when it is on something in the back, where it won't be seen or touch photos. Also helps with fraying.

I appreciate all the ideas
I have tons of that red backed tape and forgot about it tillnow......

Scotch tape is an excellent idea because it is on the back of the tag it is not sticking...not the front......I have already glued, corrected and recorrected.

Scotch tape is next.
