More fluff! What do you think of George Clooney?

Ah! my favorite kind of thread! Talking about my man, George.

I love him... for his looks and his work in Africa! Awesome man! :thumbsup2
He also is the one who organized the celebrity telethon to raise money after the Sept. 11 attack.

Also, he organized the celebrity telethon to raise money after the tsunami, too.

As for Burn after Reading, I was sort of suprised by his Home Depot workshop projects!
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

This thread is useless without some visual aids

Lapdog.

Must... not... type...
could... get...points. :rolleyes1

He is hawt.

But...and this is rpossibly really weird, I'm warning you...

I've always had a thing for his dad, Nick.

Started when he was a host on AMC many moons ago. You can see where George got his charm.

from what you tell from interviews: I think he is a fun, sincere and decent person. I love to hear the stories about the pranks he pulls on people. I like his movies for the most part. :)

I think he's a fine actor, but I have never once considered him attractive.

DH, however, thinks he is the pinnacle of manliness.

I loved him in "O Brother, Where Art Thou" and he proved himself a wonderful director for "Good Night and Good Luck".

And, oh yeah...he's pretty yummy-licious!

He was filming his new movie in my sister's office building earlier this week. She said he is much skinnier than he seems and is much more gray. He's still hot and I was quite jealous that she was in such close proximity to him!

I take it your sister's in St. Louis, then? :thumbsup2 He was filming for the better part of 2 weeks in a semi-empty office building across the street, and then for one day last week, they filmed right outside our building and in our lobby. When word came through our (huge) office that he was downstairs, the place emptied out like a tornado had blown through. And as we were racewalking to the escalators, people were pouring out of the elevator banks. It was hilarious.

I snuck a photo and then had to snatch my camera back out of our building security guy's hands. Grr. The film people were totally cool with people hanging around and taking pics while they weren't filming, but bldg security decided they needed to "flex their muscles," as it were. Anyway, it's not great, but here it is:

We have "Clooney watch" going on in the St. Louis area right now. He is filming his upcoming movie here - at the airport and in the surrounding area. It's called Up In The Air. I hear Clooney stories on the radio every morning now; people who have seen him, people who want to see him, where is he lunching today, etc. One talk-show radio host said it makes us all look like a bunch of hoosiers because all we care about it chasing George Clooney!

I would've had that picture but there would be a very lascivious crazy woman on his back being beaten by the security staff... :lmao:

:rotfl:

It was so funny...we all went outside at first because he was kind of back behind the divider thingies you can sorta see in the background, and we thought, "OK, maybe we can catch a glimpse through the window." (They're tinted very dark, which is why you can see a person in the back smashing his or her face right up to the glass.) There had to have been 30 women out there, ranging in age from 22-65, their noses pressed up on the glass and all giddy as schoolgirls. The boys in the office got REALLY sick of all of the gushing by mid-afternoon.

Meh, who cares what they say? :thumbsup2 BTW, he was filming at Affton HS Wednesday and yesterday; not sure if they're there today or not. It looks like they might be shutting things down at the oh-so-convenient location across the street from where I work (Bank of America Plaza on Market), which has the lot of us depressed. It was kinda cool watching what all was going on while we were out on breaks and stuff!

Way back when, I worked near the building where "One Fine Day" was being filmed. The make up and wardrobe trailers were outside our building. So ... who do I get to see ... Michelle Pfeiffer, of course. I never saw George Clooney, but believe me, it wasn't for a lack of trying. My timing was off every single time. I once walked out of work as he was getting into a limo.

A year or two ago, my friend and I walked over to David Letterman's studio to catch Mr. Clooney on his way out of the taping. I was no where near the baracade. There were mobs of people, but she managed to get his autograph on a magazine for me.

And that's as close as I've gotten to him. Which, in retrospect, is probably a good thing, because I'd be in the same jail cell with Robin.

(As per my tag, I did meet Doug Wilson. Nice, nice guy!!)

A close friend of mine works at the Millenium and he said a group of ladies goes out daily during their lunch hour to search out George. Why the heck not? Not many people get the chance to see him...especially around here!

Great pic by the way. ;)

Hmm, yesterday I didn't understand the concept of Twitter. But if they Twittered all that while he was in town, I'd sign up for that! :lmao:

:lovestruc I want to marry him

EXCUSE ME! There is a line and I'm at the front of it.

He's a good actor and one of the few men who get better looking with age.
