how early can i borrow points from the following year? my buy year will be april and i know ihae to bank points by the end of september.

another question is that i have already called and made my deposit for 150 points. what happens if iwant to change my mind and buy like 10 more?

I have a February UY. So right now, I could borrow UY 2006 points for any UY 2005 reservation within my reservations window (as of today, thru Sept 7, 2005 at my home resorts).

Call your guide and do it now. They will simply re-do the paperwork to read the updated point amount.

Another thought is that you can always add-on any number of points (minimum 25 pts if paying cash, or minimum 50 pts if financing them) at any time.

BTW, you know that as soon as your deposit is down, your membership will appear (within a couple of hours) on the Member Services computers. So you can make ressies using your points within hours of putting down the initial deposit, provided that you have current points to use. You will likely have those "free vacation" developer points, if you have any current points at all. You can always ask your Guide.

You can only borrow points at the time you are making a reservation. The soonest you can make a reservation is 11 months ahead of your check out date for your home resort and 7 months ahead of check out for a non-home resort.

Use year has nothing to do with making reservations or borrowing points.

i called and caught them before they wrote out the contract. bought 160 instead of 150. YES
