More Britney Escapades ....

I have never, ever changed a diaper in the middle of the store, in the middle of a restaurant, on a church bench/pew, on a picnic table, at the beach, the park or any other place where people would get grossed out. If we were at the beach or park, I remember going to my car to change the baby there. Not where everyone could see!

While I have changed a baby in the back seat of my car, it's MY CAR -- my personal property. Last time I checked, I didn't own Victoria's Secret and neither does Britney!!!!!

Can anyone honestly say they wouldn't be appalled if anyone (inc. Britney) changed their baby on the floor in the middle of a store where everyone could see??

Britney could have asked for a private place to change her baby's diaper where she wouldn't be seen. For crying out loud, she could've pretended to try on her g-strings and asked to use a dressing room and done it there! At least that would've been far more discreet than plunking him down in the middle of the Victoria's Secret store!!!!! And, I'm sure nobody would've known about it, esp. if she stuffed the dirty diaper in her diaper bag and disposed of it in a public trash can.

And, never EVER did I ask a sales associate or waitress to throw my child's dirty diaper away.

There's a lot to be said about being discreet when changing a baby's diaper. Britney was not discreet. She cries that she doesn't want publicity ... and then she does something like this.

I don't know but perhaps I am in the minority here, but here is this kid who grew up in front of the camera. The rehearsals, the filming, the music, the videos, all took precedent to her education, emotional growth and maturity.
Sorry, but it's called common sense. It can't be bought or taught.

I haven't either and that makes you and I MUCH better people. Given that, Britney should just slit her wrists and turn her children over to Child Protective Services. Then everyone will be happy.

I believe I've eaten my last meal at 50's Prime Time.

EXCELLENT. That will make it easier for me to get priority seating there! :) Thanks.

It can be taught, or at least nurtured by caring parents. It seems her parents were more concerned about nurturing her career and funding their retirements.

First of all I could care less about Britney Spears....that being said....we have no idea IF when she walked in....EVERYONE went crazy gooing and gaaing over Sean P as I can tell by photos of him, he is absolutely beautiful...anyway...all of a sudden, there is this "ripe odor" and we all know what THAT is....and before you know it, she was changing his diaper and possibly someone said.."let me take that and dispose of it for you"....

All I know...is so much that is reported in the Media is generally BLOWN out of proportion OR much of the information that would make a story MAKE SENSE is left out :confused3

Just something to ponder ;)

Probably not in that order though.

while gross and imappropriate, maybe she put the diaper in a plastic bag before handing it over? i carry ziplocks and put all my diapers in there before throwing them away. just trying to give her the benefit of the doubt.

No, Britney could take a few parenting classes and lay low instead of making a spectacle of herself.

I've never heard anyone talk about Angelina Jolie changing her kids diapers in the middle of a store. I've yet to hear Brooke Shields handing her baby's dirty diapers to a store clerk for disposal. Brooke Shields has been in front of cameras for most of her childhood and she didn't turn out like Britney.

Britney needs to start using the brain that God gave her and needs to think before she does/says things.

I didn't say I would change a baby in the middle of a store. But most on here sound like you have to do it in bathroom. And I didn't gross anyone out by changing my baby on a bench at the park. Other mother do it to or like you said worse. Some also think you need a change table at home to change a baby...give me a break.

Sorry, but the newspaper quotes: A sales associate reports Spears then handed the dirty diaper to a sales clerk asking: "Can you throw this away for us?"

Doesn't sound like ANYONE offered to take that diaper from her -- she asked the clerk to throw it away.

I absolutely agree. But, if the media has an opportunity to make Britney look bad, they are on her like white on rice. Facts, reality? Who cares? Apparently no one. And I am someone who can't even name a song that she recorded.

This is the story:

Spears in Diaper Drama

Britney Spears stunned shoppers and staff at a Victoria's Secret lingerie shop last week, when she changed her son's diaper on the store's dirty floor.

The singer was shopping in Mission Viejo, Calif., on June 4, where she purchased some pink g-string underwear with 8-month-old son Sean Preston in tow.

The tot needed to have his diaper changed and the 24-year-old plopped him down on the floor next to the cash register.

A shocked sales associate recalls, "We don't have the cleanest floors. She just put him down and changed his diaper and then handed it to a sales clerk saying, 'Can you throw this away for us?'

"We told her that we couldn't put that in our trash."

Says who ;)

Really, I have had three in diapers..at the SAME time. I would never change a baby where people eat or sit. Blanket or not. That is just gross to me. I would lay the blanket on the ground (in a private area if at all possible) if I had to and change the baby in a park.

What? :bitelip: She shops at VS? :crazy2: :crazy2: If I had her money, I'd be shopping at La Perla. :thumbsup2 :teeth: No class and no taste! :sad2: :teeth:

I think the girl is determined to get any attention, even if it's negative attention. :sad2: :sad2:

Sorry, I don't think you change a diaper on a park bench. Maybe that is just me but I never did that kind of thing. For Brittany to change a diaper in the middle of the store and then hand the diaper over, is just wrong. She must not know any better either that, or she thinks she's entitled & that others around her are there to do for her. She should have asked if there was a place to throw it away or dispose of it into a baggie and ditch in a can outside the store.

She just doesn't think.

I agree w/you on that one! :thumbsup2

Unfortunately that has a ring of truth to it. You just don't go on national television and whine about the media bothering you constantly, then pull a stunt like that at the store.

Anyway, I was ringing up her purchases, and she pulled out a tissue and blew her nose - then handed me her snotty tissue!

Knowing how obsessed the American public is about celebrities, you should have put it on Ebay. You would have made a fortune. These celebrities are so into themselves, I bet she would have autographed it for you also.
