Missy im glad your dinner was so good ! I have always thawed my turkey in a tub of cold water 24 hours (sometimes just 12) before I cook it, I thought everyone did that

I should have done that. It's been a long time since I've made a turkey. And it was a problem because the legs were clamped together--and the damn clamp was frozen to the turkey. Once I got the clamp off the legs, and then I could get to the neck, I was almost there...of course the damn neck was frozen to the damn cavity.

Someone needs her mouth washed out with soap
