I had a busy but also a lazy day today. Got up kind of early, went to cut about 5 inches of my hair cut off, went to the supermarket, came home, did a load of laundry, watched some TV, cleaned the kitchen. I still have to pack, but I know what I want to take so it won't take too long. If I have time, I'm going to color my hair because you can really see the gray in there!

Tomorrow, dad has a doctor's appointment, and then he has to go to Costco to pick up new glasses. Then we'll pack the car & be on our way!

I probably won't be around much, so let me wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! We plan to come home Saturday, but I'll probably be too tired to post much or even at all that night. So I'll probably be around on Sunday.

good morning everyone! I got a very nice surprise today- Ryan called from his meeting and said that the people who schedule the techs appointments forgot to schedule him, so after his meeting he is coming home!! Today is crazy with all the kids different half day schedules so that was a nice surprise

Maybe we'll move some stuff around in the living room so we can put the tree up this weekend

I love it. Really raining, not just a drop here and there. Whoo hoo! Ruben took the Jeep so I can do some errands and I get to do them in the rain!!

Beth, I am really appreciating it especially since he is being all nice and trying to make my day easier! He is actually out right now picking up Luke and then Kayleigh and then we're going to have lunch and he's going to help me do some stuff around the house. I have the extra kids today so it is still a work day for me but having him here has been really nice.


forgot to say, enjoy your rain! I love a good rain like that, so long as it's not too cold out. All it makes me want to do though, is take a nap

We are home. We left much later than we wanted to because we went out to brunch with the gang. So we left at noon instead of 9:30. We ended up hitting lots of traffic in New Jersey, so our usual 6-7 hour trip took 10 hours--and we didn't stop for lunch. At least brunch was fun, very good & a treat--my brother-in-law's mom (the birthday girl) paid for everybody!
