Well, Mr. November will come around... :thumbsup2 I'm just thinking about our pitching. They give up way to many runs. :confused3 Changes are coming. You can bet on it. ;)

Remember in 2001 world series Paul McCartney was sitting behind home plate in NY and they played “I want to hold your hand”. Paul got up a started singing. Loved it!!!!!

Ah, love Paul ...and George...and Ringo ...and John before Yoko.

Got my youngest totally lovin the Beatles too( she actually said, " Mom once I got you to stop singing along,I realized just how awesome they are"). She was shocked when we got my old stereo and LPS from the attic. Have every Beatles LP ever made. I think I became a bit cool in her eyes:rotfl:

Happy Sunday, all!

poly and Underdog, please don't let the fact I'm from Red Sox Nation affect your opinion of me ;) ((truth be told I'm a totally fairweather fan, and only really pay attention when things are going superwell for the BoSox)) And, you're welcome. For Roger Clemens. Good luck with him. :headache:

Haley, your notatripreportjustareallylongpost was great. Your pictures are lovely and so are your kids.

Twinkie, I hope everything gets sorted out on the house front. Lemme know if I can help at all. (probably not, since I'm not licensed in your state, but maybe just venting to a realtor not your own would help ... )

Uma, did I already say congrats to Jordan, and YOU, proudmama?? If not, then here it is again.

Lazy rainy Sunday here.

Red Sox,eh? would you happen to be a Pats fan? Long time EAGLES fan here.

good day for writing up the next chapter of your trip report :lmao: :lmao:

Not a TR, but a really really long post :)

Well, what ever you care to call it, I enjoyed reading it and seeing the photos. Thanks! I have only been to San Antonio once but I really liked the riverwalk area and I would love to go back someday.

Happy Sunday afternoon, friends! Hope everyone is having a good day.

My son is over here, perusing the sunday ads, although he isn't planning to buy anything :confused3 Both my kids love just reading the ads (although DD actually clips grociery coupons) I am having a lazy day catching up on trip reports.

Welcome to Underdog ... (watch your step in the pasture, cow patties, you know!)

Twinkie If you see this, I'm sending love, support and a bundle of good wishes for your contract problems to resolve themselves ASAP.

UMA Thanks for thinking of me. That makes me feel good. :goodvibes

I hear MommyP has been mysteriously absent. Has she had any health problems or other problems, last you knew? Has anyone sent her a PM? I hope she's just busy and nothing's wrong.

Tornado Update: We really have seen a miracle. When we brought Tornado home Friday evening "for the weekend" we were amazed to see him eat food on his own, albeit it was awkward and he was drooling into his food. By Saturday AM his tongue was regaining enough motion that he could even drink a little, but he still couldn't move it enough or stick it out to groom himself. He went through the motions, but there was no little tongue there. It looked so pathetic. By Saturday night his tongue was able to stick out a little and he was trying to lick himself. Today he's actually able to lick himself and the swelling of the lymph nodes in his neck is noticeably reduced. The Vet is going to be amazed when we phone tomorrow!!!!!

The DIS Meet in Niagara Falls was fun, but it would have been better if we'd had a private room (quieter) so we could mingle and socialize more. Mostly we talked to a nice young couple that sat with us who are DVC members and have been on a few cruises. We chatted briefly with others outdoors after the meeting and a few people took photos. I was a moron and left my camera in the car and was too lazy to go back for it. Anyway, it was fun. One of the people made up buttons for us to wear and they were really nice!

Yes, Underdog - as Marita mentioned, it is very important to watch for cow patties while walking in the pasture! :rotfl2:

I liked Paul McCartney a lot better before the Heather Mills thing.

poly, I just love it too when I do something that causes my daughter to react like that :) When they start seeing us more as interesting people than "just" parents.

Kimmie, I didn't know you were a realtor. The housing market in my area really stinks. But there still seems to be some new construction going on.

Marita, is your DS looking for a different job? Any luck yet?

 Hi, Kay!!! So glad to hear that Tornado is improving.

I'm not sure whether anyone has contact info for MommyP. Anyone? Anyone?? I'll send a PM.

Goog to hear that your DIS meet was fun! I know what you mean about having a private room. I get frustrated when I go out with friends and the restaurant is too noisy to carry on a conversation. Last time I went to Cheeseburger in Paradise with some friends, just after our food was delivered, a guy started playing guitar and a steel drum near us :scared: We didn't realize that there would be live music or we would have requested to be seated in a different area.

No Moo, he still has another week to go at his old job, and then he plans to take a little time off to inquire about some options with the Airforce and the Pilot school nearby. His dream has always been to be a pilot. At any rate, he just plans to take some not to stressful job until he figures out what to do with his life.

 Hi, Kay!!! So glad to hear that Tornado is improving. YAY!!!!!

I'm not sure whether anyone has contact info for MommyP. Anyone? Anyone?? I'll send a PM. Thanks Moo!

I hate noisy places too!!

very creative with the picture :goodvibes

I thought there was a real tornadoe, not a dog named Tornado. Tornadoes usually don't have tongues. (Tell me a joke and I might understand it and laugh a week later). Glad your pooch is feeling better, I'm sure the vet will be impressed at his/her improvement :goodvibes :woohoo: :yay:

HI underdog!

I just ran out of time to post ya'll, my meter is at zero. gotta go!

Hey Li'l Blue, sorry you had to hit and run!! Hope all is well in your world.

Tornado is not a dog, he is a beautiful kitty cat! You really should check out Kay's trip report if you can ( I know, 3 kids and a newborn probably don't leave much time ;) )

Twinkie-

I hope everything straightens out for you. You don't need any stress!:grouphug: :grouphug:

Thanks so much. Kind words do help alot!

Twinkie,

What Poly said ....

 to you, wish you the best!

Thank you Marita!
Awww shucks Twinkie that's gotta be a pain in the backside for sure. Hope is gets straightened out soon-ish.

:sad2:
Hi neighbo(u)r! Good to see you around these parts!

IHOP? UHOP? HeHOP? SheHOP? How exciting! :yay: Sorry about you're emotional roller coaster and house woes. Here's hoping/hopping for a goog week next week.
Thanks E (you need some more nicknames btw). Keep the baby names coming... we haven't a clue what Grasshopper's legal name will be though I was thinking Kenneyl for a girl....
 Hope things get worked out soon, Twink, with the house issues. We'll miss you lots! Goog luck on the packing too - you have made great progress so far.

Thanks Moo! How did you know I needed an encouraging word?

Twinkie! first of all, I'm bummed you wont be around much but check in if you get some free time (HA!!! "Free Time") I'm thrilled you felt the quickening of your sweet babe! Did it feel like a boy or a girl? (or one of each  ) What a blessing! Remember what a blessing this all is next time you are queezy, hormonal, pissy, hysterical, blah-y, etc. Five children! Healthy beautiful ones! Grasshopper is so loved!

Oh I will be around daily- just not much time to play. To easy to get distracted on the dis... but thanks for the reminder of what is really important!

You don't know me,

Of course we know you! You are the hero of the greatest cartoon ever! I know I have seen you around somewhere- I remember because I thought I was the only person on the planet who got a kick out of underdog and there you were- avatar and all! Welcome to the pasture!

Twinkie, I hope everything gets sorted out on the house front. Lemme know if I can help at all. (probably not, since I'm not licensed in your state, but maybe just venting to a realtor not your own would help ... )

Thanks Kimmie! I didn't know you realt-ed. I should have news on Monday. The ball in in the buyer's court only he doesn't know it yet... worst case scenario is that he backs out and we put the house back on the market. Which makes me feel ill whenever I think about it. However our realtor does't think it will come to that- thinks we are just going to have to lose more money on the deal. Which makes my husband feel ill. Oh well. We are mooving forward in faith and continuing to pack.....

Twinkie If you see this, I'm sending love, support and a bundle of good wishes for your contract problems to resolve themselves ASAP.

Thanks Kay! That would be best. Glad to hear a Tornado update full of goog news.

Hi Lil blue- love your bouncy seat!

Ok- back to the salt mines I go. We (as in DH) made huge progress yesterday. I slept for most of the day and today I feel MUCH better physically and emotionally.

We emptied the attic yesterday and and I had some funny finds but that is another post....

:yay: Yay for packing progress!

While visiting a friend last night, we were watching Flip This House off and on. They showed a house that they had purchased that the previous occupants did not fully clean out, so they had to finish packing the stuff and put it into a storage unit. When they peeked into the attic, it was jam packed with kid toys, baby gates, etc. In the library, there were a bunch of books still on the shelves and a huge sailfish mounted over the fireplace :lmao:

under dog, you can't miss seeing me in the field

th_bluecow.jpg
Yes, you are a strikingly beautiful blue cow, Lil Blue!!! ;)

Twinkie, so glad you are feeling better!! I am keeping fingers and toes crossed for you for tomorrow with the realtor stuff!

Li'l Blue, it's ok, don't hit yourself over the head. We all step in cow patties sometimes LOL (although yours wasn't really one). Hope TJ's gas goes away, poor baby!

I am debating whether to shower and then take a nap, or vice versa.

Decisions, decisions..........

Marita, I'm watching In Her Shoes on HBO. I caught it mid-way, but I've seen it before, so it's all goog! Shirley MacLaine has a good role in it.

But I know what you mean about so many channels and so little to watch.

That's why I don't bother watching TV very often other than what we have TiVoed, especially during the summer :upsidedow

Dang, it's already over, Moo. Now I am watching top secrets for selling your home. And DD just asked me to vacuum :faint:

Wasn't just last week that he threw his sippy cup into Old Faithful?
Haley - the real old faithful or the one at wilderness lodge? Glad to see you had a great time!

 to twinks. It will get better. Again, I wish we could be there to help.

Thanks for worrying, Moo! We've just been super busy this weekend.

Welcome to Underdog!

Hi to betsywetsy cuz she's been scarce too.

Kay - I'm so happy about Tornado!!!!

Hi to everyone else!

hi everyone
hope everyone is good I have been MIA
mommyp hope you are feeling well
hi to betsy, martia ( i still cant believe your tags are gone)
UM and everyone else

I am back and very tired. As are my kids.

It was a busy weekend.

I made $201.46 at our yard sale. It would have been $220.46 but Nicholas lost a $20.00 bill. He sold his old bike and couldn't find the money at the end. He had in his pocket. Most of it was from Hannah's clothes and a lot of small McDonald's toys believe it or not. 3 for a quarter. And I even gave some away to little kids that really wanted them but the mother said wait and we will come back. The faces of the kids was priceless.

Then we were off to Great Wolfe Lodge. We are kicking ourselves because we forgot the camera. Hubby teased me in the car there that I probably wouldn't even get my suit wet. I showed him... I went on all the slides at least once.

Now you must know that I can not swim. The first slide my son got me on was ok until the end. You are on a tube. Well the tube turned over , to a non swimmer that is the scariest thing. A few seconds seemed like an eternity.

I didn't mind the ones you went down in rafts though. I will skip anything with tubes. Then before we left Nicholas took my hand and said there was one I wasn't on that , you guessed needed a tube. Any way I tried it so I could say I did all of them. Well wouldn't you know it we got turned around some how and went down backwards. I did do the tubes down the lazy river because I could stand up in that water, mind you I needed help out of the darn thing....:lmao:

I am sure we will do it again. When we win the lottery....:rotfl2:

Kay-- we were so close again yesterday. You were on the other side of the falls.
