I lost 3 lbs since 8 wks. But I think I gained 5-6 lbs before 8 wks. Hard to tell since I hadn't been weighing myself very often. However I really go by how my clothes fit but when I have morning sickness I can't stand to wear anything that touches my waist... so my jeans feel icky right away.

Sorry MP but one of my wierd pregnant things is I only eat when I am hungry unlike IRL where I have bad habits....

and with Goldenchild I didn't want chocolate or sweets so it was easy not to gain... must be the boy hormones?

Twinkie - It is NOT boy hormones. I've had all boys and always love sweets.

I've been eating a lot, only because when I'm eating I don't feel sick. lol. I have been trying to eat lots of fruit lately.

I haven't gained anything yet. Thankfully. I don't usually in the first trimester. But my time will come.

My mom once took a longevity test online and it said she would live to be 105. lol! I hope she is healthy all those years!

You women who don't gain diddly-squat during pregnancy reeeeaally perturb me.
I can't imagine WHY eating a WHOLE LOAF of Wonder bread (white! ) per day because it was all I could keep down with my girl made me gain like 10 pounds the first trimester. POOH!

I gained 60 with Jordan, 40 with Dallen (my biggest baby), 30 with Riley, and 20 with Norah. That's 150 pounds gained total folks. That's what I weigh NOW

I didn't lose much nursing because I ate like I was nursing quadruplets. I was always hungry! NOW look at me! Four and 3/4's pregnancies and total nursing time of 5 years thrashed me. (The 3/4 was my very first baby I lost at 6 months along 19 years ago). *BUT!!!, my kids were worth it!!!!

Lycra and Wonderbras.

Next step, Botox and Restylane, nip, tuck, and HOIST.

Sorry I didn't make it back at a decent time - POTC3 was almost 3 hours long!!!!!! But well worth seeing in my opinion.

It is a while before you see Cap'n. Jack, but once you do, you see plenty of him (you'll have to watch it to see what I mean)! I hadn't heard who plays his dad, so that was a surprise for me. And be sure to stay until the very end of the credits.

Marita, so sorry to hear about the troubles with your DH's injury

MommyP, glad you had a nice birthday. Hope you get some of this during the long weekend!

Morning everyone!

I didn't read. I got into bed and went right to sleep. lol!

Chad always lets me sleep in on the weekends and he feeds the kids breakfast for me.

Uma - 20lbs with Norah is great! Only one of mine stayed under 20. Ironicly he is the only one that I only lost 10lbs from and then gained it back. I never knew you lost your first baby, and at 6 months along. How horrible! MY sister in law lost her first baby at about 7 1/2 months along. All due to DR negligence. It was horrible.

Twinkie - Cleaning the computer? With what? You didn't buy one of those cans of air did you?

Moo - That picture actually looks a lot like a south west florida beach! We're planning on going on Monday.

Today we are supposed to go to an open house, but I just don't know if I really want to go since they are going to be tons of people I don't know. Maybe I'll suggest the beach, I don't think Chad wants to go either.

Celery - Yes you were right. My DH name is Chad.

we are off for a day trip up north.....3 hours to put flowers on grandparents and great grandparents graves.......something we always took mil to do....so now it is our turn.....then flowers on local places tomorrow......today is mils birthday....she would of been 91 today.......
tomorrow is our 40th and we will be going to the mts for a day trip to celebrate....should be lots of fun as long as those pesky black flies are not out in full force.....which they will be of course....

Nicknames just kind of need to happen. No Grasshopper makes 5. My oldest does not yet have a cool disboard nickname. Think on that moo-eeps. He is 13. The twins are Twinkerbell and Princess Twink. They are 5. I like their nicknames except they are really too long.... they say "tinkerbell" like twinkerbell so that is kind of funny. And you all know Goldenchild. Recently 2.

The good thing about the terrible twos (which is one of my favorite phases btw) is the younger it starts the younger it ends... it is year of growth and frustration because they can't do everything they want. NOW.



Way to go Lil Blue! Are you little like me and MP? I lie and say I am 5 ft 4. But not really. I did tell the truth (5ft 3 and well it used to be 3/4 but maybe it is less) today on realage.com. I am still waiting for my email to tell me how old I really am...

Easy Street is a brand of shoes. I only own one pair, but love them. very comfy and even chic (dress shoes). I saw the sandals today at the Blair.com catalogue. Not crazy about colors, as I have black jeans, and they and white and fuschia and bronze and turquioise. But I want some to drive with in the car anyway, fashion be darned.

I'll have to take a look at them.

MommyP, I sure hope you get to the beach this weekend! It turned chilly and rainy here. It's not even 60 degrees, so no beach trip for me this weekend.

My DH was looking at some old slides last night and found some of our 1977 trip to the Magic Kingdom. Back when I was only 20, a few months after we started dating!!! He's going to see if he can transfer them to prints. If he can, I'll post a few of them.

Moo- I was up super late too. I ended up reading my "Disneyland Detective" book full of fascinating DL trivia and facts.

Having a BIG candle open house at Misty's house today! Which will be fun to be with adults. Yay!

I got up at the ungodly hour of 9:15 this morning

DH and the kids left at 10 to see PoC, but came back at 10:45. It was sold out!!!!!!!!! So everyone is hanging around here. DD is trying out some new chocolate chip cookie recipe and talking about making a Shephards pie for dinner. (DH bought not one, but TWO head of cauliflower! Why??????)
We shall see!! DS has to go to work at 3. He is sooo burnt out, he is ready to quit, working 70-80 hours a week (no overtime either). I am trying to get him to get a plan of some sort first.

Haven't worked a bit today, despite my plans. I guess that's a goog thing, I need some downtime.

Moo, I am up for chat later, it's going to be a slow weekend I think.

I want to add to Uma's endorsement of Nebo's trip report, it's supposed to start tonight.
