Celery, hope you get to post from the World!

Hi everyone else!

Where's Twinkie?????

Another parking in East Egypt day tomorrow, GRRRRRRRR! I would have stayed home and worked from my couch, but I have a meeting I have to go to in the afternoon. At least we had free lunch today for the cast, Bubbaloo's BBQ, it was GOOG!

Mommy P --a good Survivor tonight!!

All the kids in bed , now C.S.I. is on.

Kelly-- How is going night going. Are they staying in bed?

I can't believe it is Friday tomorrow already. I think this month is going to go fast.

Marita -- sorry about your parking.

:yay: ,hi! lil' moo-moos...

yep, its hot here..i sneaked home to find my lil miss cutie sneaking the
air condition on, so that's why i been freezing at night...& guess who,
the blanket stealer?

ok, i got to get back to work..where i will read what you all been
talking about...but this give me a lil'time to mentioned how important
i think "mature adults" are needed as role models....it kills me, to hear
about sports figures, singers, movie stars...on & on....while their
personal lives are one disaster after another. there are alot better
role models here......want to hear one of my hero? he was an
english dr., when childbirth fever killed many women. he tried in vain,
to stopped ob drs. from delivery ...after preforming an autopsy ,
based on germ theory..they thought he was nuts and refused,
killing thousands upon thousands,...and he did went crazy trying.

rich or famous does not immune these people to inappropriate
behaviors....no girl of mine would ever "acted" like ..[you know who}.
maybe i am old~fashioned to a fault..but i can think of much better
way to have fun then acting mean/nasty/stupid & so on,..paris thumbed up
her obligations....now going to jail will be interesting..but it will not
cure her of delusional thinking...[i am better than everyone else]. :sad2:

however, i think the claim she deserve a break cos she a role
model? me..whenever have she ever not thought of herself....as
for my precious jordan, i like her value sytem be more substantial,
like being a good mother. ..or a daddy's girl :rolleyes1

..oh by the way...most of the time, i am very spontanous,
:dance3: type of guy...so if you met me, you will be confuse...:lmao:

Just want to give a shout-out to Pumba. Hope you and hubby are holding up ok

Lil'g -- what do you mean Paris isn't a good role model :lmao:

I told my hubby today that is why she thougth she shouldn't go to jail and she was hoping Arnold was going to get her off. He just shook his head.

And I am sure you are a real trouble maker too!! And stop stealing all the blankets. If you wife is like me I take them ,then I give them all back on top of him because I am hot....:lmao:

Get back to work.....

I didn't end up going for a ride in my cousin's new Crossfire, boo hooooo :scared:

We spent the evening cooking dinner and visiting. Oh well, another time.

Great news, MommyP :) That is a relief, I'm sure.

Twink, did you end up taking all the kiddos to Wally World? I don't know if I read that and am too lazy to go back and look. You are a sweetie for helping out your friend.

Poly, I have a friend who had their closet rod fall down this past year. What a mess! I helped her get a new closet system and then some of our friends worked together to install it. But she was pretty happy with it when the project was done.

Nab, glad your kids finally went to bed ;)

Night, all!

Hope everyone has a great Friday! TGIF.

Happy Friday Mooers! :woohoo:

morning. Its pretty bad when one has to go back to see if I already told you something......dont want people to think I am weird.......
yesterday alot of phone calls to get things in order and I vegged. We did go out to supper with my sister from upstate ny and her hubby and daughter. My other sister and my brother too.....I had FRIED CLAMS and didnt bat an eyelash. And then last night we went out for an ice cream at the Dairy Joy. Now to get my diet back on track. I tested low this morning ......and I have no idea why. hHAHAHA.....
we took the rest of this week off and will try to get back to normal ......
Last night we did go and "visit" his mom .....hard to not see her anymore. but she will always be in my heart......ALWAYS.
I do want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and pixie dust that you sent my way.......also to thank the pms I received.......they meant alot to me..

Pumba- I am thinking about you too! Take care of yourself.

Lil G- Great posts! Lots of wisdom.... I didn't know nurses ate their young:eek: my MIL was an RN.... maybe that explains DH :scratchin:

I have already decided not to tell her where I hang out. I want to keep my personal life personal.

Gosh Marita. I thought you were going to be excited to find out that I was your new assistant......:rotfl:

Little Blue- does your siggy mean what I think?

Sorry I was MIA yesterday.... I offered to keep the baby (9 mo) of my friend whose house flooded so she could go pack up all her worldly goods because most of the house needs to be gutted.

We are in a MOPs (mothers of preschoolers) group together and those ladies are wonderful. Anyway lots of ladies wanted to help her as many hands make light work so by 9:30 am I had 6 preschoolers under my care. And they kept coming..... :faint: at the peak I had 8 kids all 5 and under.

I don't know how people do it all day every day. Except for golden child and the baby they were all girls so we played princess, and fairies, and school and barbies and poly pocket and outside with bubbles and then had a dance party and our own American Idol. Meanwhile Golden child kept trying to carry the baby (who is almost his size around).... boys are so funny!

At 4 pm I had to deliever the last two kids to their mamas and go pick up my DS13 from tennis practice... then I took all my kids to wally world. The older three wear glasses so we are there alot to get them adjusted.

And I was out of detergent. :laundy:

As for Uma- I don't know when she comes home. She keeps ignoring that question. Maybe they are running away to disneyland? goog idea:idea:

I did get a text message saying they are having a great time!

Morning All,

Another warm sunny day here.

Time to get out and clean up and mulch my front garden. Maybe even my back one. But know one sees that one but us so that can wait.:lmao:

Twinkie -- you are running a daycare, at least they weren't all boys...Your a good friend.

Glad to here UMA is having fun. Can't wait for the next trip report.

Pumba -- Good to see you around again.:goodvibes

I am glad it is Friday because that means no homework...... Hopefully that means no fighting.

HI!!!! Just back last night. The house is still clean (suspiciously so) and the dogs and cats are still alive (but the cats are pissed).

We did have a wonderfu time! I spent more time with SDY and we played in Downtown Disney. Especially the Sephora Cosmetics store...which is my idea of heaven.

I bought a passporter for WDW in Sept. It's super cool for planning.

It was HOT. But I dont mind dry heat. It's the Florida mugginess I melt in.

OH, I saw my old house I grew up in. I took exterior pictures and the young lady with baby twins in her arms invited me IN! It was all completely remodeled and modern so I told her about the orange shag carpet and the dozens of buried hampsters and kitties buried in her backyard. It really was a wonderful visit with this lady. I told her I'd e-mail her some old pictures of her home in it's 70's state.

The odd thing about the house is it was sparkling clean. Like REALLY tidy and model-ish. Hmmmm. She had a-LOT of energy I guess???

Had the most delicious meal at Cafe Orleans (by Pirates) that consisted of a deep fried cheese sandwich (I only ate 1/4th of it). Let's just say I get a free pass today from weigh day!

Glad to be back, moops!

Welcome home friend!!!!!

You were missed! While you were gone I bought a house and survived a natural disaster. Don't worry I was far from the tornados....

Meanwhile back at the ranch: Golden child has diaper rash. It is his father's fault for letting him run around in poopy pants last night while they were playing outside and I was dealing with grades (my files got corrupted and a 20 min job turned into a 2 hour dealio).

So being as all my children have sensitive skin (again I blame the father ;) ) he is red and raw and miserable. So a made a lovely baking soda bath this morning (he had one last night and tons of desitin too). He refused to sit... and while standing decided to try to the splits...

you know that baking soda makes the water very slipperly.

Bam! Golden child takes a header into the tub. I pick him up he stops crying.

A minute later his right eye is full of blood.

:faint:

Long story short.

Too late!

He has about a half inch cut right in the crease of his eyelid... where you would apply the contrasting eye makeup tone....

and my insurance is based in another city... an hour away.

So I called my mom.

And got it to stop bleeding... you can't put a bandaid there and I wasn't sure if they would even do stitches anyway...

and now he has a dashing and I hope temporary scar. And he is running around the house leaping off of furniture. I kid you not. :sad2:

 ..welcome back , utahm.,,, didyou get me anything..this time?

 , i see you & sdy...been hanging out alot on these trips...
and in risky places, risky as in costing your "poor" lil husband $$$

so we're moops? ....i kind like it, alot..sorta reminds me of the 2 kings
in sleeping beauty...getting plastered on schnoops. they toasted every
minute..just finding a reason to drink...today, that section would probably
not be correct..."passing out would have a fury on needing help...

speaking of 2 of my favorites funny people...here's schnoops to sdy &
utahm.! :drinking: , may all your roads [including bumpy & pot holes]
lead back to disneyland...though, i'm  ~ envious type, do you
realize , your starting a lil'tradition..meeting like that...maybe sdy brought
me back a real disneyland..sourvnier?

so twinkle ,you're taking care of the kids...its too bad my aren't little
again....you get a kick ..out of our middle one...he would have painted
your house all kinds of pretty colors. * nurses eat their young...is as
old as the hills..i heard from the begining...& there are good reasons for
this..but however, destroying a person good feelings for you, they
reject anything good ..underneath. in the profession, it acts as a
professinal roadblock on health care issues that nurses should be
educating ..not just clients/patients...but society! * if i knew what
this meant in the begining....i would have never wasted my time. what
good is having knowledge wher there are no outlets for using it?
other than the small group i am working with...i been plesantly surprised
how well you all have grasped the meanings!

thanks for our blessings....but iam  , to hear how many having
to go through life & death situations....eeyore, utahm,, "to be under
professional care..allowing such crises to have occurred...tells of
the need for safeguarding....what our society should be doing.

i'm sorry for lecturing so much....but if 0ne in 166 babies being born
with autism= birth trauma...this is a terrible reflection on how poor
our health care systems are..."our children & their needs..are our future".
i have a say in this...because i care about the world my children will
bring their children in....i begining to see in stories that all the high
dollar-high tech ..are not meeting the parents desired outcome? no
"kidding" sherlock!....[ iam not the smartest, or all thje resourceful]
however, i know a lil'common sense...as i still remember how :headache:
when society decided..to remove the old~outdated..dick/ jane readers.
stupid!.......nooooooooooo!, let me make this prdiction....even in a
thousand years from now, babies will still being born & they will still
need their parents love, comfort and educational skills, to become
well adjusted....& i get way to much buisness from those raised
liked miss p., . soicety needs to set up and manadate educational
system to support parental guidance. if we get any value from sports,
we must removed the thing being rationize for big $$$$. stressing
particiaption not proving better than all others nonsense. [want to
know why that's garbage?...everyone need reality orientation
thru friendship and family values....others are not place on earth,
to make one look better than others. where do society thinks
prejudice comes from...its all in a way of thinking to hurt others. ]
while my ways of thinking...i am not impress with hose that must
hurt others to feel good about themselves...& here's a factual, when
i started redirecting those having diffculties coping in society- back
to their our basics family values...bingo, that worked.

woowsers...moops, look what you are doing to me! :lmao: , got
me passing on my life stories....are you sleeping?

* putting all this together guys...this is why i think its is critical
the world protects and preserve the true meanings behind disneylands.
me? i really like the ideas the disney's principles are "aimed" out, esp.
bringing the world closer together. & if you getting it, than you can
see why i think you all important ,doing disney right.

.....don't be fooled neither, i am typical man type, but then again,
...my lil'partner ..is the most wonderful as she is impresive person~
barred none, you'll ever meet. * based on the fact....i have never
sen anyone where everybody..wants to be her friend...remember,
even with all my insights/ :rolleyes1 , i am lucky to break the 50%
mark....oh, i can get on people last nerve...:flower3: , i don't
carry alot of chocolates for nuthing, :wizard:

hope every one experiencing a lil'disney magic today!

Twinkie- at least it's in the contrasting crease and not the high-lighting brow!!!!

Tell me about the new house/ neighbo(u)rhood. I cant wait to hear all about it. Did you move already?

Speaking of natural disasters, California is on fire! There's tons of wild fires burning and the sky has a gray/brown layer that doesn't look goog.

Poor Golden Child! Give him loves from Aunt Utah.

How is everyone else on this thread doin'? I missed y'all!

Welcome Back ! Can't wait to read your trip report.

We keep getting polling calls for Bruce Lunsford- the Dem. candidate for governor of Kentucky. We just got invited to a bluegrass barbeque tomorrow- it's in Paducah. So I called the rsvp # for the bbq and spoke to the candidate himself. He didn't seem to understand that we shouldn't be getting his calls and didn't quite grasp the whole "we live in Delaware" thing!

:hippie: ..we missed your noises. did you take alot pics?

i forgot to mentioned, i like things easy to do, and works.

...i used to think older people were joking about waking up
to a new pain every day...* there are some things i like
not to experience. "wakey, bakey..eggs -is one of my favorites.
* my mother trick for getting her kids to eat eggs...crunched up
saltines with them. have you ever tried it? mmmmmgood.

are you still going to the halloween party? if so, are you
dressing up? .& for the really big question, are you going to
"force" anyone ? :rolleyes1 ...what would "luke skyw. " do?

* we still going during christmas week...crowds and all. [when
my lil'miss cutie makes up her mind...its like concrete,

well, we got the new pool liner & its up and running...there's goes
the electric bill.

:goodvibes pumba, it was so nice to hear from you. well, testing
low on a diet...isn't that good? p.s, i noticed my lilcutoes is walking
again..and all of sudden there are emptied diary queen cups in the
waste basket....maybe i should educate her? ...:rolleyes1 ,
right! , i'm not that lacking ..of couth.

dear lil'blue , your friend looks like he's been doing drugs or needing
them....wonder what cow he got his bell off of? do we have any
farmers here? nabby g. wasn't you charge of the milking? [and
wasn't that your picture on every cartoon?]...bells? so the cows
wouldn't come up missing in another pasture?

dear bACKSTAGE...GAL, :thumbsup2 , hey, i almost forgot, are you
wanting us to call you by your cute lil tag? ...in all i been "beefing"
about...i hope you know its appricated how much you cared about
doing you job right. people makes the magic work! pixiedust:

.......wow guys, isn't life a hoot!,,, "we" ~ my nurses freinds were
reviewing some of our experiencing [nurses do that- most are very
funny people]..., i was telling them how my ob instructor felt it
was necessary to tell me that due to the sensitative area...
i would be exempt, just "hang out"...:yay: ..because what happened,
i vivided remember..oh, boy!!!! how lucky is this?! e-a-s-y, never
in a thousand years....thinking, i would be involved with what
took place that morning...but think! no student, should ever been
in charge of a critical situation...& it was our very first day! i have
never seen such a desparate person....then the lil'girl mother ,who
was begging for anyone.....* i thought she didn't understood , and
her fears were unfounded...boy was i wrong......

then i heard your precious story uah m. ..oh mine, what a miracle girl
you have..then eeyore's...and m.poppin's,~ dear m.p., i know you go
right off the boards, as you have no fear, ....but i can't stresed how
impress i am ,not only with you ..but your husband to! its a big
job, raising your boys....but anyone can see how much heart & soul
you're putting into it! to me, you're a role model for young mothers.
then there's our dear pumba....at the other end of life matters.
life is all about happiness....but doing things right are where our joys
come from.

to me, i feel like celebrating...& that's the motivation for our disney
trips. however, if it wasn't for my wife setting things up..i never
find the airport.

did you and sdy meet any people like us, utahm.? :rolleyes1 ,did
you ran from my type?

what do you all expected..from alot of bull? moooooo is my favorite
word.
