I am watching it right now.

Tammy -- the laundry is done now you need to start packing. Will you be gone for a week?

Hannah has a field trip tomorrow but I decided not to go to this one. It is to a forest and they are doing something about pond life. I don't have rubber boots and I am not to fond of frogs and such. Probably scared the kids every time I jumped. Not a good role model there.

Pumba-- hang in there.

Hi Little Blue

Pumba, more huggs for you and your DH and your MIL:hug: I hope it's over soon for everyone's sake, although that may sound cruel, but not meant to be.

My preferred way to go is to just not wake up one day, in bed. Guess its not something you can pick, like a vacation, though..

Time for this bessie to turn in

Night Lil B, stay a bit longer next time!

Guess hatching little Thumper is tiring!

I've been trying to do more feverish cleaning, but this kid is stubborn already  *sigh*

::yes:: I'll be back :cool2:

night all

Fixing the nest, are you?

Oh funny little story. At work, at an outdoor break area, we have some squirrels and ducks that always come vist.

This one daddy squirrel, besides begging for food, hunts for paper or any other type of nesting material. He scrushes it it up, then he clenches it in his teeth, runs up a tree. jumps over to the roof, runs over to a crack in the roof, and builds the nest.Very cute!

And mommy and daddy duck have a duckling too. (no blue jackets though)

Hi, Li'l Blue!!! Nice to see you.

Nooo, I have nothing to say!!!! Waaaaaa:sad:

but might as well get it over with........

Almost like going to the dentist!

Yo! Laundry is not quite completed...although I did just my last load in the washer. I'll transfer it to the dryer in the morning. Nah...I'm only going to be gone for four nights....BUT I have to pack some of Celery's disney clothes. She leaves tomorrow for KC, we meet in Orlando on Thursday...stay till Monday. Then she leaves Orlando for Alb. NM and I come home to Nash-vegas. And immediately back to work on Tuesday. And of course I've got to drive out to the country to pick up our pets.

And I get to watch all three of my beautiful godchildren (3 wk old baby Quentin too!) while their parents go out to celebrate the mama's bday.

K...it's shortly after 10 here...and I've got a busy day tomorrow. One meeting and three home visits with three people who like to TALK too much. Yay me. Later folks!

Sorry, Marita - no toe tinglin' gas here!

But, HAPPY 3,000TH POST!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

Tammy, I think that was the longest post I've ever seen from you! Nash-vegas?! Have a good Monday.

Nighty, night!

Thanks, Moo!

Better wind down here

See you all tomorrow!

Good morning gang.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO READ ABOUT DD's RODEO, PLEASE SKIP THIS POST!!

For those of you who were wondering. DD's rodeo literally came down to the last catch of the day. If dd did not catch her calf, then she was out of it. In that event, they get to carry two ropes and have 30 seconds to leave the shoot, track the calf and take their shot. Dd came out and threw her first loop, it basically went around the calf's head, but not the neck, so she was trying to fish it on, but the calf was too fast and made a sharp turn. The announcer then said "Oh too bad she was only carrying one rope, her time's up"

I was like::confused: She always carries two ropes?!?! But then I saw dd grab her other rope, which is tied to the saddle, and chase the calf into position and throw her loop. This time it landed perfectly, but you still have to stop and back your horse to make the rope pop off of the saddle and by this time she was in the corner. But she scooted around and got that horse backed up and the rope flew off. Yay for her.

However, the girl that went after her was only one point behind her. Sooo, if she catches her calf, dd is out of it. I was completely torn. There was no way I was going to root against that other girl, but of course you want your dd to do well too. Ugh!! Well, the other girl didn't catch her calf.

SO, long story short: DD is going to the Wrangler National Finals in Gallup, NM in July. btw, the other girl qualified to go in another event, so I felt much better! whew
p.s. I'm copying and pasting this to another thread I post on, so if you're a stalker and see it twice, sorry about your luck.:rotfl:

I haven't read back all the way, but to Pumba: My prayers are with you and your family.

MP- you don't eat the whole bag of chips.. just a few, with a couple of swigs of lemonade.... it really works... of course anything salty would work.... as for weight... I have no idea how one controls one's weight while pregnant. Actually some research suggests that your body has a preferred pregnant weight so you will gain as little or as much as it takes to get you there regardless of what you eat. However for me with the twins, I didn't eat much because I was sick the ENTIRE time but I got as big as a house. For reals. With golden child I ate what I wanted but for the first time in my life I had NO DESIRE for sweets. It was wierd. I gained very little weight and had to buy new smaller maternity clothes. So what do I know?

I don't think research told my body about that. I've gained 30 pounds with 2, 18 pounds with one and 40 pounds with another. :confused3 I would rather be under 30 pounds again this time, NOT 40. That was the most miserable thing in my life. I was so <shudder> ....

Does lemon-lime gatoraid count as lemonaid? I don't even know where to get lemonaid that hasn't already had the sugar added in. Well except the koolaid kind. I am supposed to drink lots of gatoraid anyway for my heart, so I could kill 2 birds with one stone? I drank 2 quarts of it yesterday. :lmao: For lunch I had a cheese burger and frys from McDonalds. I was feeling so good while stuffing my face. Too bad once the food settles that goog feeling is gone. I was even nauseous in the middle of the night. :guilty:

I'm eating chicken noodle soup with a few saltines for breakfast. It's the only thing that sounded even a little bit goog. Plus I'm drinking gatoraid.

I can't even think about making dinner...

On the plus side Chad and the boys(3 of them) went fishing yesterday on the canal at the end of our road. It's one of the only canals left in this area with water in it and a LOT of fish. There is only about 2 feet of water at the most and you can see in it which makes fishing easy. Chad caught a few, one of them was pinkish. It was a fish tank fish that someone ditched and they started breeding. Some type of fish from South America. He caught some good sized ones, I caught one that was like 2 inches long. :lmao: Jeremiah also caught one. We only have one pole(a cane pole so you don't need a fishing license) so we had to take turns. They were out there all afternoon. I went out for about 30 minutes but I couldn't take the heat anymore so I had to come back inside.

I almost broke my ankle. Walking across the front yard. It's a really soddy sod job ;) and I stepped into a hole and fell to the ground on my knees. Thankfully I have strong bones. :woohoo:

p.s. I'm copying and pasting this to another thread I post on, so if you're a stalker and see it twice, sorry about your luck.:rotfl:

Congrats to you and your daughter!
Woo hoo and yippee kay ya ay.
How DO you spell that?

Sorry you're still feeling icky, mommyp. :(

I'm off to the office for a few then I head to the sorta prairie (kansas city).
I'll be sure to wave in all directions from my hotel so the twinkies can see me. I'm not sure which way they live, so I gotta cover all the bases. ;)

See y'all later!

I'll probably be checking in some this week cuz I'm not going to be drinking.

BabyN - Congrats to your daughter! Who knew they had rodeo in Indiana... ;)

Morning All,

BabyN -- Congrats to your DD. I just sounds like a nerve racking sport to me...:rotfl2: I would be more like I can't watch. Does she have the whole cowgirl clothes too. Don't know to much about the sport. Now if I was from Calgary Alberta....

Mommy P --I first read that as you broke your ankle, and thought oh no.Strong bones indeed. Hope you don't have sickness though your whole pregnancy.

Marita --Woohooooty on 3,000 posts.
