Where in Canada were you?

I heard Prince Andrew was in my home town this weekend.

Neat. I hope you waved to the Prince.

We were in Orangeville Ontario and the weather was nice. We were out on our host's deck for a while around lunch time and I have a sunburn on my nose and cheek bones.

I just finished doing dishes and have to figure out what to eat for diinner. I have no taste for anything in particular.

I hate dishes,it's a never ending chore....

Kay-- you were only like a hour and a half away from me.....Isn't down town Orangeville colourful.

I found the wind cold the last two days.

Moo- what a beautiful bird! We see a number of hawks here, but they're never close enough to photgraph!

Nab- I have an aunt that we called sarge- we always said she'd be directing her own funeral
I once told her she looked like the Blessed mother and she was insulted!!!!!
I was 8 at the time.

Moo -- we have a lot too. Hannah picked me a whole bouquet this afternoon.

She is begging Hubby about going to Mac's (the convience store) to get me a Mother's present. She already has a lot of crafts made for me hidden under my plant stand. I am not suppose to look though.

Awwwww, that's so sweet, Nab!!! But you need to tell Hannah that she needs to talk your hubby into going to the jewelry store. Or someplace like that instead of the convenience store

We were pretty shocked when it landed so close to the house. I told my hubby to go grab his camera, but he used his cell phone instead because we were afraid it would fly away. It looked like it was watching for a mouse or something in the grass. It was only there for a couple minutes. I'm thinking it might be a Cooper's Hawk, but will show the picture to a friend who is a birder tomorrow and see what they think.

My hubby also spotted a couple of Sandhill Cranes in a field where we often see them on our way home from taking a ride this afternoon. It was a few miles from our house. I didn't look fast enough (I was driving) to see them.

I wanted the beauty queens to win. Oh will Danille and Eric did finish the last task and the other ones timed out.

Survivor is done next Sunday. Everything is coming to a close.

Moo-- they have a few little Mother's day gifts that she can buy herself. Little teddy bears, little vase with fake flowers. Stuff like that.

I am not big jewelery person. Mind you I would not give back my earrings. They are the only thing I wear everyday. Plus my wedding rings.
