Nope, not a whole lot, except Mom was in the hospital and is now in short term care (she is 93, so I am a bit concerned)
Oh, and I lost my assistant! (Although not a mysterious as Celery, mine left for more money)

I didn't know your mom was in the hospital. How is she doing now? Is she less confused about things?

Hi everyone!

Goog to see you Kay!!!!

We just went on our 2 mile walk, then I gave the little ones a bath. What a nice break now that the older 2 can bathe themselves! Of course, I still have to question Seth everynight,"Did you wash your face, feet, armpits, etc..." He usually has to go BACK into the shower again. ;)

Chad just went to get a side job started. It'll put $150 into our vacation fund. Wooo hoooty!

H Kay,

Yes she is less confused, she seems pretty straight. It was apparantly some medication that caused her confusion, but then she contrated Bronchits which landed her in the hospital.
But every time I call her, she seems hard of hearing. Like who is this????? I yell into the phone, "Marita", she says who???? "Marita". Oh ok...
Then I say, how are you? She goes, every week a little better. ANd then she says, I'll call you next week :confused3 Like a 2 minute conversation.

She was never hard of hearing before, I don't know if it's the phone connection or her. I'll have to talk to my brother this weekend. OH, and she is turning 93 on Saturday!

moo - Have fun at the concert! Let me know if they do the treadmill thing live.
Pink did crazy gymnastics at her concert.

backstage - for mom's recovery

Mommyp - :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: for vacation fund.
Wait. you meant in September, not the one for your birthday, right? Cuz while I'd like you to be happy for your birthday, I'd rather you be at WDW in september.
Ooooh! and if you stay at one of them there deeeeluxe hotels, can I peek in your room?
I try not to be a redneck, but sometimes it comes through.

Hi Alice!

Kay? Who is that? I seem to vaguely remember someone named that before - but it's been so long!
Ha! Just kidding Kay!

Kelly-- you need to relax now, enjoy your evening. How are the kids and your hubby doing?

Marita-- I can't even image being 93 years old. Hope she makes it pass 100.

Mommy P -- good job on the walk, When is your due date? You need one of those tickers.

Celery -- It would have been a virtual hangover indeed. What city are you in today?

Moo-- enjoy your concert. Good thing you don't have to hear us, and can just read what we say...:rotfl:

Hi MommyP

Hi celery

Hi Kelly

Sis I think you did say before that your Mom's confusion was due to the medicine. Too bad about the bronchitis. That sounds serious in someone her age. It seems odd that her hearing is suddenly bad, and it's strange that she says she'll call you, since I doubt she's likely to be making trans-Atlantic phone calls in her condition. Thank goodness you have other family members close enough to monitor the situation.

Celery - The Birthday trip is coming out of the vacation fund. But it'll only be about $250 for that. I'm not going if I can't get it for that. So far I have $500 in the vacation fund, plus I already transferred $200 to the checking to pay the deposit. I have Ivy at least 4 days this week, so that's another $100. yay! It's looking good, as long as work keeps up. Like 4 more guys were laid off today. It's just down to Chad, my Dad and the bosses 2 sons. :scared: We just have to keep trusting God. It doesn't do any good to get anxious about it. Which I easily do. :guilty:

We're booked at POR, if we decide to change to the Poly you can sneak a peek in the room. They are SUPER nice!

Nab - My due date should be Dec. 28(since I know the day of conception), but I'm sure they'll figure something else up when I go to the DR. based on my last period, which is going to be messed up since I don't have a nice and neat 28 day cycle.

I'm not getting a ticker until the baby actually looks somewhat human. It kinda creeps me out now. :rotfl:

I'm in Spartanburg, SC.

Oh. I didn't tell you all the drama.
So you all know my sister is crazy, right?
And she doesn't trust Tammy because she thinks Tammy has access to her medical records.
Well last night she shows up at my house a few minutes after I logged off. She had a fight with my mom and needed to use my phone to call and yell at my mom some more.
She's severely paranoid and it's not going away. She thinks my mom is out to get her and has munchausen's syndrome by proxy - that mom is drugging my sister so she'll have someone to take care of and to get attention.
She also thinks my mother killed my great great aunt with a morphine overdose back in 86.
(My great great aunt was like a grandmother to me - she lived with us and died of cancer in 86.)
She also thinks that my mom is working with a cop that happened to go to the same college as hers in order to incriminate Alli.
In short, she's loony.
And this is what we've always feared - when she can't live with my parents anymore, what are we going to do?
I'm scared she's going to end up on the streets.
But I can't take her in. She's hostile, an alcoholic, dirty, selfish, and delusional. Not to mention she's not working and doesn't sleep.

Push hard, that is soooo close to getting a little tax deduction!!!

Hi Pasture Dwellers...

you know us... we are all outstanding in our field.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Ok- Hugs to Alice-Barbie on the long day. Also to Sandy for dealing with a childs pain from far away.

Congrats to the Poppins for have some vacation fundage heading your way. And to Moo on being at a concert.

House update. We made on offer on a luverly 5 bdrm house in our price range. They rejected it for the other offer which was significantly more we were told. I am not sweating it... but it does mean we are back to square one since we don't feel like making an offer on anything else we saw. DH is seeing a house tonight... looks promising but the location is not so great (not bad, just farther from work than everything else). My inlaws are coming this weekend so at least we will have free babysitting for a long day of house hunting.:magnify: :sail:

Dang Twinkie, sorry the offer fell through. But personally,I would sweat house hunting much less than still stitting on a house to sell (I know you do do).

Woohoo for free babysitters!!

I'm not gonna hold my breath. It would be awfully nice. ;) But, I go later and later with each of my kids. Kaleb was like 2 days late. :confused3 Why can't I be like all those woman who go 2-3 weeks early? :sad1:

Popping by to say Hi, and cut through the pasture.

:yay:

Hi Steph, hope you didn't step in anything on your way though:rotfl2:

Where have you been?

Twinkie-- sorry about the house. Hope the other one he looks at is nicer!!

Well early can be problematic too. But what do I know.... I was begging for an induction at 37 weeks with golden child..... 9 months is a LONG time to be pregnant.

(They scheduled one on Friday the 13th when I would be 38.5 weeks. My water broke at 11:45pm on Wednesday night. Golden child was born at 7 am on Thursday the 12th. Ha! I showed them!!!!)

I do NOT want to be induced again. I didn't have to have pitocin, but just having my water broke so early made labor a lot more painful! But, if my nice midwife said she'd do it before Christmas, I might go for it. I DO NOT want another 9lb baby. NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I might just ask my "nice" midwife(really I love them both) to deliver this time and let me get an epidural. I am having anxiety over labor, already!

MP- if you get the epidural then you will be ready to have 4 more kids!:thumbsup2 It is goog stuff. I got it while in transition with the twins. And my doctor gave it to me early with Golden Child because my water broke and his head wasn't engaged so they made me lay flat on my back to prevent a cord prolapse. When I have a contraction I HAVE to be standing... just my thing and when they told me 20 minutes into labor that I was laying down for the duration I think I looked like I was going to cry... so he said they would hook me up with the epidural soon. So I stayed up all night watching TV while DH slept. About 6:45am I called the nurse and said "I think I ripped the epidural out of my back because I am feeling a lot of pressure" ....I had a baby by 7 am!
