Morning All,

I am first this morning unless someone slips in that is....

I thought I had it all worked out that I would see both kids things today. Turns out Hannah wrote the wrong time in her agenda for school. I looked on the calender and her Tea is the same time as Nicholas's play. How am I going to be in two places at the same time I want to see both.

Should I watch some of his first then go to her's but then I would interurpt hers when I came in. I also told her teacher I would be there, and Nicholas is drop in kind of thing. This is not fair.

That is my whine for the day.

Now I have to go put them on the school bus.

It is neat how involved you are in the kids school. I used to do stuff all the time for my oldest... then I got busy having babies and now at 7th grade there isn't really anything to do.... (and he is too "cool" to want me to do anything but send food... they grow so fast!)

Nab- that is going to be tough for you today. We were lucky that my husband always worked at night-once my ankle problems started , he was always available for field trips and such. He refused to be a gym dad though

We're going to try planting some flowers again. We definitely have a problem with our soil. Need our ag girl to take a sample to school and get it tested.

Poly-wolly-doodle- even if you live in a city you should have a county extension agent who will come take a soil sample for free. Also the agents are very knowledgable about their county which includes turf and landscaping if you live in an urban area.

Hi poly, celery, and Twinkie.

Today is Oaks day at Churchill Downs. If you don't know what that is, it's a big horse racing day in Louisville, The Lillies for the Fillies. This is the day all the locals go to the track. In fact, it is such a big deal that the school's in this area are closed. Of course, tomorrow is the big Derby Day. The Run for the Roses. All the celebrities are in town, dh actually got a corporate invite to one of the soirees (black tie affair), but we will be going out of town this afternoon for an all weekend rodeo for dd. This is the rodeo that decides it all, if dd continues to do well, she'll be going to the finals in New Mexico in July. This also will ultimately decide if we will be squeezing in an October trip to WDW.

The boys want to see Spiderman 3 before we go, so I'm off to shower and drive to the big city of LOO-UH-VULL to see if we can catch it on the IMAX, which would thrill the little boys to death.

I think the soil samples are sent to the College of Ag. for testing by the state. I'll call later. I know that a neighbor's was sent there. I just need to get my girl to remember to take it with her. Most of her classes are in the greenhouse and ag buildings,so she could definitely save us some time and trouble. Perhaps if I duct tape the sample to her hand?

Thanks for the reminder- I forgot all about the Derby ! I just got a new camera and was thinking of taking our oldest- the animal science/ag major to our race track - so she can watch the races and I can take some photos .
Our track- Delaware Park- was home to Barbaro. The track erected a statue of him last week on opening day.
Let us know how you liked Spidey -our dentist's brother was the head of the visual effects for #2 and #3. His twin did makeup and effects for Narnia.

Good Morning!

It's still dreary outside...whattupwittat?

Got 3 dozen glazed dough-nuts from this local shop this morning for Dallen's class. His birthday is the 9th but we'll be gone....to Disneyland!

I have to stare at these FRESH dough-nuts for another 1/2 hour before the boys go to school. Prolly I should TAKE them myself so they'll not be dumped in a rain puddle on the walk to school. Sounds simple, but it involves 4 carseats, 4 sippy cups, patience of a saint, nerves of steal, buns of steal, ninja-mama stealth, and a diet Pepsi.

Marita - What is wrong with my siggie? I see it fine, I didn't get any warnings. I'm legal now. After 2 infractions in one night when I wasn't even online. (is that even right?)

Uma - How great for you that he is going to college locally! I am only giving my boys that option.

Twinkie - I thought I was the only person in the world who would call labor and delivery a high. I LOVE having my babies. This one I'm not looking forward to as much since I now have the added problem of anxiety. But there is no better drug than when they hand you your baby and it's all over! (actually the best feeling in the world is when the head is out. You go from pain to no pain and then it's over and your holding your baby!)

Nab - Can you PM me a Survivor Recap? I thought I had it recording and I didn't.

We get home last night and the AC temp is set to 78, but the actual house temp is 81. Thankfully Chad's dad is an AC man, and thankfully for ONCE Chad could actually get a hold of him. He told us what it could be what to do to get us through the night. Thankfully it worked, and it seems to still be working. This house is less than a year old! If you move to FL, don't ever buy a First Homes, they are the shoddiest.

I also woke up with a horrible racing heart. I havent had a day likes this in a while. I didn't get up until 9. The kids made such a mess of the house, yogurt everywhere, toys, blankets, papers, then Kaleb took his diaper off(from over night, full of poop) and dropped pieces all through the house on his way to my bathroom. Why do these things happen on bad days? So far I've cleaned both bathrooms and the kitchen. Now I need to move on the the vauuming. I ate some cheese toast, I hope that helps. Feeling your heart beating is NOT a goog thing. Especially when it's racing.

Oh no UMA .

That is terrible we had two students arrested last week for telling other kids they were going to do that too. What a crazy world we live in now. The school was in lock down too. It was a high school.

Do you know they practice lock down here. Hannah said they go in the girls change room when it happens and Nicholas goes to the gym. Places with no windows. Nicholas said they have two locations just in case. Of course Hannah and the others thought it was funny because the boys were in the girls room.

But it is not a funny thing.

Hi Lil G. Lots of folks "see" us as sisters. Or one really crazy lady who posts alot. But we didn't go to school together... that is HaleyBug. Utah and I have never met in real life... BUT we do have the same last name "MAMA" and it is even pronounced the same....accent on the first syllable and said in a high pitched almost whine.

She is tall and blonde. I am short and not. I have the lil twin girls sammiched between a big brother and baby brother and she has a house full of boys with a baby princess!
