Well, it's no secret. Flame Tree is our family favorite. We always sit on a veranda down by the water where we can watch the train coming down EE. Also the Characters come by on a boat dancing. It's fun.

Sandy's peeking in - I've been reading over at the events/competition board - I ran 2 miles in 30 min today!!!

Nab - You need to call, or have your DH call and add a request to your ressie. Like a specific building location that is already a non-smoking. You can find out what those are on the POR FAQ thread on the resorts board. http://disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=396424

MommyP we stayed at POR requested non smoking got in Parterre Place Mansion - walked in - wham smoke smell - called mousekeeping and they sprayed/fumagated while we were in the parks, and checked in with us to make sure it was ok - it was... BUT outside on the balcony trying to get around the smokers, and then these incosiderate (not all are, just this instance - my mom is a smoker, I understand that side of things..) smokers left there butts on the stairwell, along with a can of ashes - and mousekeeping DIDNT CLEAN IT Up - Mark my words it will be unenforcable,,, but like I posted, if the whole country of Ireland can go smoke free, so can disney... I hope!

Someone, I think Lynda, just posted that she read that the new AK restauant will be open by then, Uma . . .

So that may work out for us!

I read that, however, It MAY NOT be on the DDP - lots of speculation, as the Rainforest Cafe is not on the DDP give me a/c in AK!!

The "new AK" restaurant is going to be called "Yeti and Yak" and Tuskar may be going all character dining... rumor has it that the Yeti and Yak will have both CS and TS - but does that mean it will be on the DDP?? Yeti and Yak will be run by "landry" (? not sure of spelling) the same service runs Raintree - so that's why the speculation of not being on the DDP - I'm hoping that Disney did negotiate a contract - and since it will have both CS and TS that DDP will be offered, like the restaurants in Epcot...

Drinkwallah and Tamu Tamu at Disney's Animal Kingdom are now offering expanded menus, including burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Previously these locations only offered drinks and snacks.

Only did 20 minutes on the bike, Marita, since it was so late - the Ride in the Park program. Easy, peasy, but strtched my tight leg muscles out pretty well. Will go longer tomorrow night.

Sandy - Thanks for all that info. I didn't know that the new AK restaurant would be own by the same people as RFC. That will stink if it's not on the DDP especially if the rumors are true and Tusker House goes Table Service. Only 2 counter service restaurants(DDP) in a park as large as AK? Not a goog idea. I don't know if you've eaten at Flame Tree before, but it's really not bad as far as not being in the AC goes. It's really quiet since all the seating areas are private and they have fans, it's shaded. Not too bad at all.

Thanks for my Wooo hooty! I mentioned it to get all hyped up about it, then when I posted I forgot. lol!

We watched The Hitcher last night. Pretty good. But a little over the top and drawn out, IMO.

Off to clean up breakfast so we can start the wonderfu school.

We are actually ahead of schedule today. Usually I am running for the bus and checking in here after.
