UMA-- I don't see anything wrong with that picture. You and Bonnie do look a lot alike. I thought that as soon as I saw her picture with the glasses.

Bonnie-- You will get used to the glasses. If you are like me, I am so used to them I get in the shower with them on ...... It is the sun glass thing I don't like. Changing them back and forth.

Could never wear contacts, don't think I would leave my eye open. The eye doctor has to be really fast or good to get drops in.

3. Never heard of it. But. DH rented Hot Rod for himself and DS on Friday night and DS thought it was the absolute funniest thing he ever saw. (the language is NOT kid-friendly but then neither is DH's language so I guess he figured it was OK.) It's a slightly more theatrical version of *******.
4. Robert Pattinson....I'm getting used to the idea. I am also interested to see who they cast as Jacob. Gotta be hot. FYI....Robert Pattinson is really NOT in Vanity Fair....maybe briefly in the last scene. What's the pilot movie??

1. I know! Me too. But I was thankfu for them... and they kids have played with their "goodies" all weekend. I think they will last till tuesday and then I will throw them away. And it was superior goodies- a hat, a lil' purse stuffed with a pencil and some animal crackers and other stuff.

2. Hypothetical question: If one friend (we will call him um, er, Handy Snack) outs another friend (we will call her Little Debbie) concerning their shady past (like Tortfeasor Camp) would it be fair for the second friend (Little Debbie) to out the first friend's date of birth????

QUESTION FOR ANYONE WITH FLYING EXPERIENCE.....

If you booked a flight out of Louisville and you had an hour layover in Cincy before going on to the final destination (Orlando), could you just get on the flight in Cincy. Or would you be a suspected terrorist?

Could I just book it and get on the Cincy/Orlando leg of the journey?

If you miss any leg of a trip they cancel all your connections. They used to not do this but now it is policy. This was actually profit driven not terrorist driven. I like to fly to Charlotte NC which is a hub for USAir but it always significantly cheaper to fly THROUGH Charlotte to somewhere else like Raleigh or Greensboro.

Speaking of which- my SIL is a Montessori teacher in NC. Also I have lived in NC- it is nice. HUMID. But nice.

Dangit! I knew it couldn't be that easy to save myself 2 hours and $50! I'll never get that 2 hours back. Is it worth $50? Don't they know the cost of peanuts these days? Do they really want me on BOTH flights? Why is it cheaper for people from Cincinnati to drive to Loo-uh-vull to take a flight back to Cincinnati and then get on a plane to Orlando???

OK....my niece never shows up. So. I called DSIL cell phone and ask WTH? "Oh...sorry. She's with the neighbors." DS is soooooo disappointed. He's been asking all day....how much longer til she gets here?

It's a 13-14 hour drive for us to Orlando. And I don't want to do it by myself. Again.

I also don't think DH will ever go to Disney again in this lifetime but I also don't think he'd try to stop me from going. So I asked DSIL (his sister....yep, same one) if she and my neice would like to go with Emily and me. She was all "OH YEH!" but as you can see that's not a sure thing.

Mid March will be my 180 day mark so I'm just checking around to see what's out there. Emily dearly, dearly, dearly wishes she could fly somewhere (anywhere) just once. So I'm gonna try.
