Goog Morning!

Monica - Those cookies must have been really burnt to have ruined your pans. ;)

Still no baby. I really thought last night would be the night. All evening I felt weird and uncomfortable. Then around 1am I was woken up by a very strong and uncomfortable contraction. I continued to have them here and there throughout the night, as well as back pain. But nope. Still no baby.

Hopefully all this is making me super ready for tomorrow and it will go fast. I most dread having to walk and walk and walk because I am just too tired for that nonsense. ;)

I plan on getting all the laundry washed and put away today, as well as the house picked up, bathrooms cleaned, floors mopped(maybe) and bags packed. Chad left to do some side job, that he may or may not even get paid for and he has no idea how long it's going to take. I am not quite sure why he felt it had to be done TODAY when I could sure use his help around here.

When he's done we have to go take back a whole house fan we bought for the new house. When he opened the door there were no fan blades. And we picked up the UNopened box at the Home Depot too. How weird.

Then we have to go down to Babies R Us so I can get a baby book.

I am off to put on The Phantom Of the Opera so I can begin my cleaning. Thankfully I already got my bathroom done!

Have a good Sunday!

I lost all my subscriptions. And when I go to the thread tools to subscribe, it says i'm already subscribed. I don't have email notifications either.

My mouse burnt out yesterday. I hate using the laptop without a mouse.

I hope they are still working on this.

Good Morning!

Baby got me up too early considering I was on the computer too late.

That's ok, Matt needed all his medicines anyways.

He slept pretty good.

The boys keep coming up and asking, "Mom, can we do this while we are in WDW?". I love this. It's so much better planning with them instead of in secret like last year.

Did anyone get the AAA monthly magazine with the Disney write up. Mal can't get enough at looking at the pretty princesses.

Morning all,

I gave up on the Dis last night too!!! I thought it was suppose to be faster.

Moo-- Glad you had a nice evening with your dd before she goes home.

Mony-- I will not eat burnt cookies, not even slightly burned ones but hubby will. yuck!! Home Matt is feeling better today.

Sandy-- are you ready for that marathon. I know running on a treadmill isn't the same as running outside. Hope it isn't to bad for you to run today.

I went to church last night because we are heading out today. First to drop the kids of at my Mom's and then head to Niagara Falls for a nice adult getaway for two days. We haven't done that in a long time. He tells me our room has a fire place and you can see the fireworks over the Falls from our window. I know he paid big bucks for this. Can't wait. I am sure we will be in the casino for a few minutes tonight.....:rotfl:

Hope everyone has a safe and

Happy New Year!!!!!!

MommyP:scared1: That's quite a list!! There's a reason they call it labor - rest up! Sending peaceful thoughts your way! What a night!! You're ready, your baby is just appreciating the womb too much!!! :)

Melinda What a sad time, and a sweet memory! :grouphug:
(thanks for the Bible quote!! I was wondering if you added that to your siggy - a new one every day??)

Monica I could never get the subscription thing to work right!! Your poor mouse - are you going to have a burial?? Hope Matt is all better today!! I got dd the Birbaum for kids book - lots of colorful photographs - but it showed her things that I tried to avoid!! :rotfl2: You're right, it is more fun to plan with them!! and to watch their excitement!

Nab an adult getaway! WOOHOO!! (11 days and we'll have one!) Are you going to the American side and spend some money (low American dollar and all, think of all the bargains!!)

Moo Hope your dd has a safe journey, and that she returns soon - and that she inspires us to declutter!! (I keep imagining I'm decluttering this one area in my house!) :sad2:

Wendy Hope all is safe and sound in your world!! and that you had a blessed Sunday, and everyone found their shoes, and that they fit!!

Marita we're going to have a warm up next weekend!! I'm hoping Chicago gets the warm weather, and Florida cools off - and dont be afraid to post that pic of you in a bikini!! ;) No one will quote it!!

The Tv Show Sunday Morning does such a wonderful job of showing parts of the world. .. every Sunday it seems they highlight a different painter - its amazing. Today they are doing the remember when, of all those that have passed away - they do such a beatiful tribute... they show the inventors and their inventions... musicians, choreographers, actors, politicians, athletes... and put a spin (like the picture of Boris Yeltsin enjoying it, Max /roach - ) Phil Rosuto - Holy Cow is his favorite phrase - I thought it was Harry Carey!! LBJ friend and created the movie rating system! see some you know and some you dont know!! Peg Bracken - cookbook "I hate to cook" books died... "if ever I leave you the voice of Chamelot, Robert Goulet" all of you have made us laugh, or cry.. hail and farewell one and all... "but never could I leave you at all" Wow.. an amazing segment!!

must get the courage, and warm clothes to run today. Run 2 hours, thats my goal!! *sigh... oh, and I dont own no treadmill - and I refuse to join a gym and pay money for a service I know I wont use... but hey, that reminds me!! Ballys Fitness and Discovery Health Channel is running thier 8 week FREE program!!! It starts while at Disney, but I'll be able to use it when I get home!!

it worked for me Monica - I didnt have to post to get it to work, just went to user cp and there it was and it had an option to "reply" clicked and here is where it took me!!

Happy Sunday, Moovers!

Check out MommyP's ticker on the last page, too funny!!

MommyP, take it easy today, you have hard work coming for you tomorrow.

Nab, hope you will have a grand time!

Moo, safe travels for DD

Mony, drats about the cookies!

Lexi and Sandy, since you asked, here is my bikini picture: 1968, age 16:

Oops, sorry, can't fine it!

Morning, Peeps!

I just started the Twilight books, I'm half way thru the first one. REEEEAAALLLLYYY good!! I was in the bubble bath reading for over two hours. Most enjoyable!

I am rooting for you, MommieP!!! I think your babe will be born on New Year's day. Here's hoping he does not look like Baby New Year.
cheers.gif
(those are butter beers from Harry Potter! ;))

I didn't lose any subscriptions, BTW. Just sayin'.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Marita!! :cool2: I think you look fabulous :3dglasses

Tootsweet Everytime I see that Q-tip I qwack up!! seriously - it reminds me of DS#2 - it was his camp counselor name!! He has a name tag with Qtip on it and everything!! He was the first younger sibling of a counselor that got his OWN name - usually its "lil _____" so DS should've been "Lil Queuee" (no one could pronounce our last name, and so ds#1 got that moniker and it stuck - they dont get to pick their camp names btw!!)

No Qtip came by his name in a camp skit - his senior counselor was about 6'9" tall - and at the time of his first counselor ds was maybe 5'!! LOL so they used ds as a real Qtip....

(TMI - I'm avoiding going outside for my run, here I sit all dressed and ready, but the computer was just sitting here!)

BTW - my camp name? Suzy Sunshine - Sunshine for short!! I am an early riser and dont mind it atall!! but that's PJ's

When is PJ's birthday??

Happy Birthday!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

I found it: Marita at 16 in 1968! I could use more of a waist, LOL!
This was taken in the former East Germany in the Baltic Sea, where I flirted with guys from Tchecholosavia (sp! ughh!) (we communicated via dictionary) and played water volleyball with North Vietnamese soldiers during the Vietnam war. My aunt was livigng in East Germany (trappe there after the war and could not get out), so I went there to go on vacation with her and my cousins. This is also the trip where I was searched at gunpoint by east German soldiers in the train at the border (with watch towers and search lights) and got robbed of my romance novels (no western literature allowed) This was also the year I stated dating DH, and got married 2 years later.

:lmao: That is a great Q-tip story, Sandy!! And I love Suzy Sunshine!! That is so cute!

Whenever I see the name Sandy I always think of Sandy Seawee. Remember those little mermaid dolls back in the early 80's? I loved them!! I didn't want Sandy though (even though she was blonde-haired like me), cause she had a PINK tail, and that just ain't normal. :sad2: I had Shelly Seawee because she had a GREEN tail, like she should! ;)

Bite your tongue, Bonnie! We need baby Poppins to arrive in 2007 for the tax deduction!!!!!!!!!!!!!

woohoo Marita! Super hotT picture!

That reminds me that I need to do something..... like quit eating so many cookies and chocolate covered pretzels and entire pans of brownies. My maternitT clothes are too big and my real clothes are way too small. I have about 17 lbs to go to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight which I normally do by 6 weeks. Not going to happen this time. :sad2: I think I will just go buy some clothes (size ChunkE) because getting dressed for church involves much angst.

Mooving on to happier and more interesting topics:

Today is the day MP. :thumbsup2

I was looking at my own baby today and admiring how much he has grown. Tomorrow is his checkup so I am trying to guess how much he weighs and how long he is... I think 9.5 lbs and 22 inches. I can't believe BBN had a newborn even bigger than that!!!

Oooo la la, Marita!! You were sooo HOT!! :lovestruc

It sounds like you have led a very interesting life! :worship:

Bite your tongue, Bonnie! We need baby Poppins to arrive in 2007 for the tax deduction!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, all right, I will root for a 2007 baby...

But I say that if baby P. DOES arrive in time for tax deduction, she has to name him Charles Schwab. Or H&R Block. Or something tax-ish. ;)

Hi Twinkiemama! How's it going, lady? Got any recent pics of your babe?

I'd go with Charles, since they can't decide on a name anyway, LOL.

Charles Schwab Poppins. Kind of has a ring to it..........

The DIS is still pretty slow for me today :sad1: I thought I had quoted a couple things but they didn't show up.

I was up at 7ish to see DD off, then went back to bed for a while. Thanks for the safe travel wishes! I am always an anxious mama the days she is making that drive.

Woo, Marta! You were a little hotTie!!! If I had the pic, I would post it, Melinda. If my cousin is able to scan them, I will.

Glad you got to see your grandparents, Melinda.

MP, it really does sound like those contractions are doing their job. Fingers still crossed for you to deliver before tomorrow morning :goodvibes

Sandy, I got a kick out of your q-tip story  I am grateful for the times I was able to go to camp as a kid.

PJ, have a nice time with your family and friends!!! I'll post your birthday gift after midnight tonight :thumbsup2

I bought a new book last night, so I will be bum-laying and reading today with a little :laundy: thrown in.

Nabbie, you will be missed, but I know you'll have a great time!

Some really good friends surprised us with a visit. It was sooooooo goog to see them. I'm always a bit chipper after seeing them. Old neighbors.

Why or why do I let the laundry build up so high!

Because I hate the chore soooooo much.

Marita: Very cute picture. The background story was just incredible. Good plot for a book.

How's it going MommyP?

I know I asked where you bought the Twilight series books, but I can't remember where, so I'm asking again cause I couldn't find them.

Sandy: The sunshine name is very fitting for you.
