I got a little behind in my reading and tried to get caught up, but every time I started clicking along, someone would repost Marita's picture and I'd get stalled for a few. Seriously hot. And I keep thinking, gee I was 16 in '68, why did I have to be stuck in America?
Sandy, I went to a Dottie West concert back in the day, and Shelly showed up with her 2 year old. While Grandma played with the baby, Shelly sang Jose Cuervo and a few other songs. It's always been a fave.
I work tomorrow, then 2 days off. Pumba, we're gonna party hardly at my sister's. But I get play time with the greatnephew. And free ice cream.

Heya, Cel! Yep, ACK is the word! And that Kimber...she's something else, isn't she? Yikes!

Yes, Matt is Christian's son, but was raised by Sean and Julia. I spend half of the show covering my eyes and cringing, but I just can't stop watching! Love that Julian! Yum-O!

Marita, what a picture! And the backstory! Wowza! I hope you've told your kids these great stories!

In other news, the Christmas decorations are still in place. I chose instead to do a whirlwind clean-athon of the kids' playroom and bedrooms. Two huge bags full of Happy Meal McJunk and assorted, unused tchotchkes may or may not have found their way to the trash.

I also did 4 more loads of laundry (where the heck does it all come from???), cleaned the dining room, and made big ol' dinner for the whole family. So I'm feeling pretty good tonight.

But PLEASE, can't someone stop me from eating the cookies and brownies and fudge that are lurking in the kitchen???? For heaven's sake! I've become a human vacuum cleaner! I'm not even hungry...I'm just eating it because it's there! If this keeps up, I'll have to have a contractor come in to widen the doorways in my house! EEK!

DD called a little while ago that she had made it home safely. Whew! She said she drove through rain the last three hours.

Grrr! It's snowing again. Pumba, I'm with you! I hate snow! It was just getting so we could go in and out of the house without tracking snow all over everything, and now we're going to get another 5-9 inches.

I just got kicked off the dis and couldn't get back on for the last hour.

So I watched the Desperate Housewives episode I missed.

It's snowing.

I did laundry until I ran out of soap and I put it away. Bonus.

When we went to urgent care I dumped the girls socks in a plastic bag and matched them there. I don't care.

Cherly you had me worrying too. Glad she's home.

I had to take allllll the fudge (from Cabelas ) and cookies and M&M's and EVERY other goodie and put it in a bag and put it in my DH's car! I can't even be around it till I stop craving sugar and white bread....a few more days!

Taking down Christmas has left me with a bland house. I need some pizzazz. Too early for Valentine's day decorating... YET Walmart sure didn't miss a beat getting on board with THAT... Have y'all noticed the huge diety displays alllll over Walmart? GADS!


MommyP- blanket is all tied and ready for the boarders...then off to Florida it goes! I'm including the baby food puree-er and some cute baby food cookbooks I don't need anymore. And some like new cloth diapers for burp cloths. They rock! I just worry the blanket will be too warm for Florida. I guess you could use it for tummy time or to lay him on top of it?? Best of luck for you tomorrow!!!!!! We love you!

Thanks, Mony! I am just a big worry wart sometimes!!! She has made the drive by herself several times and now she has her dog with her but you never know how the weather will be.

DTD....MOO-HOOTY ON THE BIG 1,000!!! Party hardly....heee, heee! Have fun! Everybody and their neighbor from here is down there in Nashville for the Music City Bowl. We passed over 300 cars with UK flags on the way home yesterday! (Yes, we counted. We're nerds. It made the trip go faster.) OH...and my girls went and threw down all the Christmas cash at Greenwood Mall on Saturday. You're welcome!

Well, she overcame her tendancy for car-sickness and read it all the way to mom's...bought the sequel when they went out shopping and is half way through that....hands shaking...wondering where she's gonna get the next book. OH and the movie is due out next December and it's already been cast. The kid who played Cedric Diggery in the Goblet of Fire will play Edward.

OMGOODNESS........just watched the news local of course........and the weather is only going to stop for a short time this afternoon and THEN another storm system will drop another six to eight inches of this dreaded white stuff.......I DONT KNOW WHATS HAPPENING>.....
