Why don't those suction cup toys only stick for about 20 seconds?

Monica - just make sure you dont try and stick it to your forehead!! DH tried to use the suction on dd high chair - it would stick for 20 sec, so he just stuck it to his forehead - When he took it off... it looked like a hickey on his forehead (and it was sore)

Guess I'd better get this day started!! I hear its supposed to be warmer tomorrow (25 deg today, 30 tomorrow!! oh boy a heat wave!! lol)

Nab found Hannah's DS, Lynette and Moo are making potato soup, WT is bitter and sarcastic, MommyP actually is married, Lexi thinks it's still time to celebrate Christmas, and a bunch of stuff about Facebook that made me lol!!! Oh, and the babynurse went to see The Bee Movie and of course had to tell me how she ate a LARGE popcorn with EXTRA butter. That's insider information though. See, told ya I read back!

My sister's roommate is appaled that I haven't seen so many movies so last night we watched Pride and Prejudice (yes, I know it was a book) and now we are watching Breakfast at Tiffany's. Again, I should probably be doing something more productive with my time. Yet I'm not. My friend Eren is coming today too! We pick her up at the airport at 5 and then we're going to go have dinner at 1900 Park Fare to see a certain Anastasia.

WELL. Like I said, today my friend Eren is coming in. Tomorrow my parents and another friend get here and we're staying at the Beach Club Villas. My parents are DVC members (sorry, Marita). We are eating at Boma for my birthday and then we might go into a park just for fireworks. That's what we did last year. Even though it was insanely busy it was fine to go in just for fireworks. I guess we'll just play it by ear.

Nabbie, I made it to the airport just a few minutes late and took Debbie and her DD home. They were really tired due to getting up so early so I didn't stick around. I stayed up really late talking with Mari so I'm just relaxing a bit before getting lunch, then a haircut.

I got up at the crack of dawn, around 11am
After chat last night, I read one of Delswife's reports that was very funny, and made it to bed close to 2am I think.

So after catching up here and there and checking for TR updates and reading the paper, I am now going to try and do some work I didn't do yesterday with all the facebook frenzy, LOL .

So I gained a buncha weight. Like 8 pounds. And today I Peeled on my normal jeans which now boast a muffin top and probably a camel toe. But they're on!

Me and Monica are doing low carb and are SO skinny already!

I just showed that to my son (14) and all he could say was DANG!!!!

That is truly amazing. I didn't even attempt the GH. Not enough eye/hand coordination. Ok ds says "hand/eye mom". Now I'm being corrected by a 14 yo. Either way, I ain't got it.

Nab - I got blue. It was only Chad and myself when I got the going home outfits, so no one saw anything. I always love feeling the baby move, it's my favorite thing. But at this point every movement brings pain and I keep getting shooting pains from my lower belly down my thighs. They aren't fun. So as much as he wants to sleep and not move is fine by me.

I finally met our new neighbors today. They are super friendly and their boys are very nice and respectful. Thank googness!

We got all the trash cleaned up, but couldn't take it to the dump because they are no longer open on Saturdays. But at least it's in the trailer now and not our front yard where the septic tank needs to be dug in.

Nothing to report, no signs that today is the day.

I just remembered that I should go get my nails done today! Not like they are chipped , more grown out so there is no color on the bottom of nails, plus getting a little long for typing. But you can't really tell unless you look close.

So I rationalized! Today is Saturday before New Years Eve, it will be a mad house! And I should be working anyway. And I dont feel like sitting there for 45 minutes.

Next weekend should be dead as a doornail, right? So I am NOT going today

Hey Moovers. We've been slammed at work, but this is always a CRAZY week b/c everyone is inducing and scheduling c-sections so they can have an extra tax deduction.

I have to go back into work tonight too. And one of the nurses working the evening shift is 9 mos pregnant and came into work having contractions. They told me I might have to come into work early, but I reminded them that legally I can only work 16 out of 24 hours unless it is a federal state of emergency. hee hee


That is my interesting life. Glad I could share with the group. Although the large buttered popcorn at the movies last night did make me happy...as PJ felt it necessary to mention.

BabyN - I thought that would be the case on Monday and I wouldn't get one of the 4 slots. But, it was just the opposite. My midwife said that no one was scheduling for Monday because of the Holiday. ?? Seems to me celebrating New Years just isn't any fun 9 months pregnant and that extra tax deduction is much better.

WENDY WooHoo - we'll be right back on track before we know it!! REally!!

Dh just came back from an 18 mile run - and he's dripping wet!! oh yum that does it!! He says the black ice is really really bad!!

I ran indoors to the Walk Away the Pounds - 3 miles In shorts and fannypak - have to practice in my Half look!! then wanted to get the mail - so I ran outside - IN SHORTS!! a whole half block!!

then I came in and had a piece of pizza - but that's ok, cause I'm drinking water!!

I have to tell you a poster on the events/comp board - he really gave me courage!! Gave me the down low on how to make it past the point of not being swept!! I think I believe I can do it - esp if I dont stop for pictures... Just one maybe?? I mean really, what's the point if I dont stop for a picture??
