Pumba you should try taking 200mcg of Chromium Picolinate, its in the vitamin aisle of WalMart (grocery stores etc) It really helps stabilize the blood sugar when you are stressed, or on vacation, etc - my grandma was an insulin dependant diabetic that made me take it (low blood sugar) it works for both!! She even ate ice cream sundaes (and her vice - a beer ) Her doctor always praised her for staying so strict on her diet!! (her joke on him, she really didnt!! BUT she never went w/o chromium!!)

I've also had friends I've told about who were on the pill diabetes - and they praised the chromium -

We were out and about all day. Went to Costco and Future Shop. Hubby bought himself a new computer. It is suppose to be faster so he tells me. He wanted an Apple but it was way out of our price range. This one will be hooked up for the kids.

So now we are cleaning up and moving stuff to set the new one up. Hannah's big house will have to go .....So another table can go there. Which turned out to be a good thing because we found Hannah's DS lite.... She is happy because we were going to make her pay for half a new one and she can play her Christmas games now.

I can use Facebook fairly well when it comes to the search options because that's how we "find" visitors.

Twinkie....You can set your profile to private so that it is unsearchable by anyone. The privacy settings are such that you (and your friends) can be the only ones to see your profile.

Also, you can just put in a last initial instead of a name I think.

Or you could just be totally fictional and be Twinkie Montessori or Nellie Olsen...if those are really fictional.

Hey, everyone! I survived the sleepover last night (barely), and am now enjoying some long-awaited quiet while Boris and Natasha watch the HSM double-header on Disney Channel.

I am a house-cleaning MACHINE today! I have washed, dried, folded and put away 5 loads of clothes, plus loading and running the dishwasher, cleaning out the fridge, sweeping all the rooms on the first floor, cleaning the kitchen counters and cabinets, and cleaning out the back hall closet. All this, plus I made a big ol' pot of baked potato soup (which I had for supper). I am looking forward to some serious bum-laying tonight, I tell ya.

Thankfully we are married afterall. We had a marriage license in my Mom's safety deposit box. Why there isn't anything on file at the court house is odd. But as long as we don't lose what we have, we're goog.

No big numbers today. She still isn't saying any % on my effacement but she did say it felt "different" and I was more like 2-3cm. She said that I was enough that on Monday she could start with breaking my water to see if things will start that way without going straight to pitocin. Thank googness!!!! She also said she wouldn't be surprised if I went over the weekend. Although, I have heard that before with past pregnancys.

There won't be any joining facebook for me either. I am way past the hottie college chick age and I don't have time to do something else.

We got free lunch today at Moe's Southwest Grill. The manager was enamored with my New Years Eve birthing day and gave us our lunch for free. Yay! Free lunch is goog lunch.

I had a free lunch today too. Panera screwed up our lunch order a couple weeks ago and I called to let them know about it. And they sent me a $25 gift card So my coworker and I (she also had the wrong dressing on her salad - Greek dressing on the Asian chicken salad . . . yuck) had lunch together today.

Be careful out the Cheryl! We can't afford to lose our illustrious leader! It just rained here, but that is all it EVER does here. We NEVER get any snow.

Thanks, Allie! I think I am going to be fine - just a little sore. We got almost 3 inches today. I would love to not have any more snow the rest of the winter.

MOO Didnt I mention the snow last night? I'm so sorry you fell - do file that report - and take it SLOW!! You have to make it home too!! Its really coming down here also - but I hear its a fast moving storm (55mph movin fast!!) so it will be gone by 5 - 6pm here -

NO SNOW in 12 - 14 days (once I get to Orlando, I dont care what the weather here is like!! and if they are predicting snow, I may convince AA to let us leave a day early!! We'll sleep in the airport in Orlando if we have to!!

If you did mention it, I must have been skimming I hope you have clear weather for your upcoming trip.

Sometimes I dont know if everyone is really having an issue with each other or is this a joke and I am out in left field.......I get upset when others are arguing with each other......so make me happy and be nice..

Moo, the soup is SUPER easy! Prep plus cooking time is under 25 minutes. It's all done in the microwave, but you'd never know it. Here's the recipe:

2 medium baking potatoes, unpeeled
14.5 oz reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 cup milk (2% is okay)
4 slices precooked bacon, crumbled
3/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1/4 cup sour cream

Pierce potatoes; microwave on HIGH 5 minutes, turning over after 2 1/2 minutes. Cut potatoes into chunks. Combine potatoes, broth and milk in large microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 6 minutes, stirring after
3 minutes. Slightly crush potatoes with a potato masher.

Reserve 2 Tbsp each of bacon and cheese for topping; set aside. Add remaining bacon, cheese and onions to soup.

Serve topped with reserved bacon, cheese and sour cream. Makes 4 servings, about 1 cup each.

I know Marita, its always goog to have someone your own age to share with - and at a certain age, one of the opposite sex is even better!!

Scottny sent me a copy of the girls without the RED EYE!! It looks good - I admit I am too lazy to take every picture over to photoshop and try and figure out how to get them to look better - I rather take them to the printers - they do the same t hing, much easier on me!!

Its taken me over an hour and I only uploaded half of my pics, and I thought I was putting everything in ONE folder.... nope I have 5 folders with THE SAME NAME!!

I am so computer illiterate!!

Mmmmm, homemade pizza sounds great. I haven't made it for YEARS. When I was growing up and was first married, we always made the Appian Way box pizzas.

The Jet's Pizza chain is in the Lansing area. They have delicious cheesy garlic bread.

Tonight, we're just munching in lieu of dinner. DD made some more Chex mix and peanut clusters.

DH is finally feeling better but DD is getting a cold.

My Facebook is acting up tonight I tried to send Scrabulous invites, but am not sure they "took"!

Moo -- I found her DS in the big Barbie house. When I was decorating for Christmas I throw all her doll strollers etc. in there. I guess it was in the bottom basket of one. Good thing we didn't buy another.

We got the Simpson Movie at Costco today so they are watching it.

We were suppose to go to my in-laws tomorrow but hubby's mom is still sick and is going to the doctor tomorrow. She has a rare type of MS and his dad told us she has a sore on her back and it is getting bigger and they know it was infected and got antibotics but they are not helping.

So we have a free day tomorrow to get my house back in order I think or hope.

My dad takes cinnamon, what I'm talking about is called Chromium (crow - me - yum) - - it actually is in most diet over the counter pills!! Due to it being able to "stabilize" the blood sugar!! (some also claim it has fat burning properties, but that isnt the case at all - trust me!! )
