well I tried to create a new account on facebook...

it says I have an existing account!! :rotfl2:

so look out genius scrabblers - I'm one very poor player!!

just sayin!

Okay, I guess I'm dumber than a red brick, because I don't know how to navigate Facebook at all. I've had the account for a while, but seldom go there. I guess I'm just used to MySpace. :confused3

Lynette,

The soup sounds yummy and easy, I would have made it tonight, but I don't have alll the ingredients, and NOT about to go shopping.

Sandy,
The pizza sounds great too.

Moo, glad you didn't get hurt badly, be careful!
I did not get a scrabble invite as far as I can tell, but then I am a NOVICE in facebook.

I haven't eaten all day, but I finally have something cooking. Chicago roll with ham and cheese, wrapped in tin foil and baking in the oven. Should be done soonishly. Not fancy or particularly great, but serves the purpose. DH and DD had salad and chicken earlier. Im am not one for either one particularly..
Well, we shall see how tonight goes off the DIS!

Lynette, I have the same issue!

Moo, the soup is SUPER easy! Prep plus cooking time is under 25 minutes. It's all done in the microwave, but you'd never know it. Here's the recipe:

2 medium baking potatoes, unpeeled
14.5 oz reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 cup milk (2% is okay)
4 slices precooked bacon, crumbled
3/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1/4 cup sour cream

Pierce potatoes; microwave on HIGH 5 minutes, turning over after 2 1/2 minutes. Cut potatoes into chunks. Combine potatoes, broth and milk in large microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 6 minutes, stirring after
3 minutes. Slightly crush potatoes with a potato masher.

Reserve 2 Tbsp each of bacon and cheese for topping; set aside. Add remaining bacon, cheese and onions to soup.

Serve topped with reserved bacon, cheese and sour cream. Makes 4 servings, about 1 cup each.
Oh, that does look pretty easy. I have everything except for sour cream. I think I'll get that tomorrow and make it. Unless we decide to go to the Japanese restaurant. It was too snowy to go tonight, especially with DD coming down with a cold.

It will be more fun if you have some friends on there and add some applications! I'll end you a PM so you can find me.

Thanks, Marita! I am feeling OK so far tonight.

I'll try again to do Scrabble invites for you and Sandy.

l and marita - I pretend to be a hotT college chick (I'm in college, so it counts, right?) and I'm still having problems with facebook. I'm slowly but surely getting the hang of it, but it's not super easy.

I have my mobile alerts set up, but responding from my phone is off.

And I keep getting confused.

I just went to Moos page and I figure all her friends looked familiar, so I sent them an invite, or I asked to be their friends - and poked them...

but you're right, its different - I'm uploading pictures, and I do have my settings to only my friends!! and I'm using an assumed name, so my boys cant find me!! :rotfl2: BUT I added a profile picture so you can figure out who I am -

Thanks Cheryl for figuring out who I am!! :rotfl2: I sure didnt know!!

This facebook stuff is exhausting! I think I need a chat session tonight, LOL!

Yes, but somehow I ended up in a game with Amber and there was nothing happening. I'll try it in a minute.

Thanks, MOO! I sent you an add friends thingy (see how tech-savvy I am? :lmao: ) I also sent one to Marita and a few people on your friends list. There are a few people I think are people from this thread, but I wasn't sure, so I didn't send them invites.

Now I have to make my profile page a little more interesting.....

Guess What? On Guitar Hero III, you can be BOO'd off the stage! :confused3 Who Knew?

Slow Ride! Take it Easy!

wendy - guess what? You can be booed off the stage on ANY of the guiter hero games.
;)

and I'm bad at scrabble! so I keep working on other things.
I'll get back to it.

So the Dis clock says 8:06 but my computer clock says 8:57 pm ....what time does it really go down..:confused3

Wendy,

Get booh'd offstage! How horrible. To this day I remenber getting thrown out of the school choir at age 13. Scarred me for life!!!
If anyone sings Happy Birthday, I lipsynch!

Celery I suck at scrabble too!

But Marita can really twirl a napkin.....I saw it with my own eyes.:rotfl:

I am sure you can sing Marita, the choir doesn't know what they are talking about.

Goog Morning!

Still no baby.

I'm trying to have a positive attitude though because I had contractions on and off all day yesterday, so hopefully they were at least working for something and getting me more ready for Monday.

My anxiety is really bad though. I am just sick with fear about Monday. This is the first time I've had a baby since experiencing anxiety problems. I just can't wait till it's over.

Today we are up early and headed to the house to get rid of all the construction trash. Our builder has a tall sided trailer that he is letting us use to pack it all up and take it to the dump. I, of course will be sitting in the shade watching. I can't wait to be able to get out there and work again. I hate having to just sit around. I'll probably go back to Mom's mid morning and take a nap, like last week. I didn't sleep well at all. Too many times having to go potty.

I FINALLY got a "going home" outfit for the baby. Toy's R Us had some super deals yesterday. I got 2 little sleeper outfits and 2 sleeper gowns(my FAVORITE for late night diaper changes) for $19. And the gowns are Carters.

I even pulled out some clothes for our hospital bag. So last minute packing will be easier, still.

Everyone have a good day! I'll be checking in later since Mom has high speed!

GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

Not much catching up to do since the DIS went down early. Sorry I missed chat. I had to get DS in bed early last night. He's been staying up late every night with DH and he was just worn out.

We are traveling to my mom's today for "Christmas". It won't be like Christmas since Granddaddy is in the hospital. He's been there all week with pneumonia. My grandmother stays all day and my mom stays all night since he is experiencing some paranoia. (He's always very out of it when he's sick.) I know they must be exhausted but mom is insisting that we come today anyway.

Everyone here is going to get a RUDE awaking at about 8am. heh, heh. That'll teach 'em to stay up so late.

MommyP....I didn't know you were so nervous about the delivery. I'll be praying for you.

Lynette.....People you think are from this thread? How many friends named "Melinda" could Moo possibly have? I put in a friend request for you. I'd know your cartoon/camo/mug picture anywhere. :)

Wendee....I got boo'd off the stage on Slow Ride too! We just need more practice! (Wait til the kids go back to school.) ;)

Cel....Bad a Scrabble? Yeti? Axion? You're killing me! Your town is sure to be full of people from here this weekend due to the bowl game! Don't go downtown!

Marita, Moo, NAB, Twinkie, et al
...........:wave2:

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Melinda what about me? or are you the TG?

MommyP :grouphug: I totally understand - I decided against telling my story - even tho its funny now - just pray. and believe. In Him all things are possible... May the peace of the Lord be with you!! Believe!
