Hi everyone, checking in.

Been doing some serious bum-laying since yesterday. I would do more of it if I could, but I have to get my nails done (I really don't like it, it's sooooo boring, but I am overdue). Still putting off vacuuming and laundry so far too. But I better get moving sometime soon, I have a baby shower to go to tomorrow afternoon, and then the family wil be back sometime tomorrow night.

MP, hope you feel better.

Moo, hope all goes well with the pups.

Cel and Tammy, hopes things are better.

UD, goog luck with them pumpkins.

And yes, Twinkie, where ARE Pumpa and Poly (cute story with the pancakes)

And where is Eeyore45?

Everyone have a great day!

Hi Sandy, great job on the running, I cant run even when it's pouring, I have NO strength in my legs anymore.
And I LOVE my laptop too, I can't live without it (sad but true).

I don't know AKSunshine, but anybody's kid dieing is the most horrible thing that can happen to a parent, I can't even imagine. My heart and prayers go out to her.

Hoping Santa will win the lottery so I can have a laptop of my very own!!

Good luck on the lottery, Sandy. If mine dies, I am running to the store to buy a new one, LOL. Charge it, baby! I love sitting with my feet up to Dis, and work, and I do a lot of work from home. This laptop makes 10:30-3:30 office hours doable for me, as I would never sit at a desk for long (at home that is)

In other developments, I bought a bottle of red nail polish yesterday that closely matches what I usually get, so I patched up my nails enough that I can delay getting nails done for anothr week More bum laying time for me.
:yay:

AMENDMENT TO NAIL POST:

I decided that nails were really not good enough after all, so I just called for an appointment, but specified I want someone who does NOT take 1 1/2 hours to do (like my last two times), So I got I think the owners wife for 4pm who promised to do a "quick fill", LOL!

My menfolk got up and cooked breakfast. DS made a mickey shaped pancake for Goldenchild. It was so cute seeing the teen do something sweet and the little guy was so excited about "Mimmie Mouse"
So cute! Not much bum-laying for me today so far, but now I'm going to watch a few recorded tv shows.

Glad you're feeling better, MommyP!

My MIA friend Cheryl is a Tupperware consultant . . .

Sandy, so sorry to hear that news about AKSunshine's child. There was nearly an accident in front of us on our way home from the puppy adoption. Fortunately, Mr. Moo saw the truck sliding sideways and told me to get over to the shoulder. TG there was no collision.

The puppies are OURS!!!!!!!!!!! We got to see one of their littermates who was there for puppy shots today. It was another very corgi-looking male called Frankie. He was a little sweetie. We took a photo of all of them together and I'm going to send it to his mama. We never saw him on-line, so it was kind of fun to see him in person!

Jasper and Sukie had to get some more shots today too. Future shots will be done through our vet. We had some tags made for them and got the paperwork on their ID chips to send in.

I'll see if I can download the photos and get one posted tonight.

Congrats, mommy Moo!!:cheer2:

I just got back from nail appointment. They decided it was time for new nail tips, so no "quick fill" for me, BAHH! Ended up being 1 1/2 hours after all. Now I am hesiitant to change my clothes, so as to not to mess up my nails.

I think a nap is in my not too distant future.

Looking forward to the puppy pics, Moo!

GOOOOOG MORNING, SUNSHINES! :sunny:
I'm headed to church this morning. Gots to be there by 8:30 so no time to bum-lay like Lynette although I wish there was. Hi, Lynette! :wave2:

Hiya Melinda! Sadly, no bum-laying for me today either. We had a whirlwind day of CCD, a soccer game, a trip to the store to buy a b-day present for my niece, then to indoor playground for said niece's party. I was out of the house from 10 am until 6 PM. Only managed to sweep the first floor rooms and wipe down the kitchen cabinets. All the rest of my housework is now waiting to be done tomorrow, thereby effectively eliminating my bum-laying options for tomorrow. :sad2: Oh, woe is me! :rotfl:

And I LOVE my laptop too, I can't live without it (sad but true).

ITA, Marita. My laptop has had to go in for repairs twice since the first of the year. Without it, I was climbing the walls!

Twink, sometimes kids do such sweet things. That's God's way of making sure you don't kill 'em! :lmao:

MommyP, hope you mend quickly!

Moo, YAY for the two new puppies!

Hugs to Celery and Tammy for whatever is not going well right now.

Hello to everyone!

Yep, that will be me when this one dies! Thanks my laptop sister!

I have to get myself to vacuum tonight and put away laundry and empty the dishwasher, so the house can be halfway decent tomorrow when the family returns.

My DD just called, she got done done with church auction at her BF's mom's church and is heading for dinner. Coming home tomorrow and heading right back out to a Lacrosse game, while I head for a baby shower. Hopefully by 6 or so tomorrow, I should have the entire family back home.

OK, I am off to vacuum (hint: do NOT get a cat with long white fur!)

and dont get a dog that sheds year round like a dalmatian.......geesh.....i am here by the way.......had alot to do and we were looking at camps up north in the boonies.......I mean GODS country...not really excited about moose and bear wandering thru our yards......or no running water or sewer systems........I have voiced my opinion to the log cabin with hot and cold running water and a FLUSHer........we shall see......

Absoflippinlutely! Any trip which does not at least involve indoor plumbing is inhumane! :scared: Don't stand for that, Pumba!!

My inner proper Bostonian thanks you, Marita! :rotfl:

Hey...did you see my post count?

I will agree with the ladies Pumba....outhouses are out.

My grandmother used to only have one of those when we were young.
Always afraid of falling in or getting locked in by someone.:scared:

It is cold and raining now. We got home and the temp.in the house said 62 and we have no fireplace so the heat is on.

It was nice for the apple festival today though. Brought home an apple dumpling for later and bought my Mother in law wooden roses for there anniversary.

Moo-- :yay: the puppies are yours.

Marita-- your family is going to be home before you know it. For some reason I can't see you sitting at a baby shower playing games when you could be sitting on your cozy couch.:lmao:

Twinkie -- cute about the pancakes. That teenager is going to come in handy when the new baby comes. Does he change diapers?

Sandy-- that story is so sad. Can't even imagine. He was just a baby.

Lexi-- loved the treats in the morning. I will have to rent that movie. It looks funny.

Lynette -- do you always wipe down the cabinets? What do you get on them? You must be a wild cook.

Moo Hooty to Lynette!!

Moo Hooty to you too Marita you just passed 4,400 !! ( your catching up to me fast)

A GIANT MOOO HOOTY TO LYNETTE!!!!
!

:dance3: :cheer2:  :hippie: :cool1: :thumbsup2

Thanks, and back atcha, sistah! Looks like you hit 4400 posts today!!

MOO HOOTY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lynette -- do you always wipe down the cabinets? What do you get on them? You must be a wild cook.

NAB, I wipe them down every couple of days, to keep them clean and fingerprint-free. A little bit of wood cleaner keeps them looking goog! :thumbsup2

And thanks for the Moo Hooty!

It's telling me my message is too short, so I guess I have to add text besides only replies. So let's try this:

YIKES, 62??????? BBRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!

WODDEN ROSES???????????

I know, how dare they disturb my sunday couch sitting?

I think I wipe down cabinets once a year, just before the annual chistrmas eve dinner party at my house, with like 20-25 people who get the pleasure of eating from their laps. But, it's tradition!

Amending to add, they do have plates they ae not eating directly from laps , the plates are on laps. Unless you get lucky and get a folding table (1 of 2 that are not used to hold food)

There isn't enough wood cleaner to make my cabinet look good....:lmao:

Another thing on my wish list a new kitchen. But I think we would have to move for that and I just got a new school around the corner so that isn't happening.

Kids are in bed, think I will go catch some tv or a movie with hubby.

Night ladies.
