I forgot to answer your question about the doggie situation. We never received a response to our e-mail inquiry and the female puppy has been placed, but another female from the litter is listed on petfinders now and the male is still available, so I am sending another e-mail tonight letting them know we are still interested. We'll see what happens . . .

Let it be known that waking up at 4:30 and going to work is NOT working for me!

It was pitch black,driving to work. I had trouble seeing lights from cars with the dew on the windows, like are they left , right or behind me? Almost got into an accident. And then I crashed about 4 pm for a couple of hours and I am still tired. Another deadline tomorrow.

No more doing stupid things like waking up and staying up in the middle of the night for me!

Just got back from the school open house. What a great new school. Nicholas sure gets his exercise going to the third floor for his class. The science lab is really cool too. And the library is so much bigger and brighter. Each class room has three computers and an overhead projector hooked up to the teachers computer. We never had that when we went to school.

Some little girl set of the fire alarm though just as we were clearing out. She just ran into the plastic cover and the cover pulled the lever. We saw what happened so we didn't rush out...

The school board trustees were very long winded, the kids were getting restless and so was I....

I missed all my shows tonight I will have to stay up late to watch them. Good thing the kids are off tomorrow and I can sleep in. (Sorry Marita)

Marita -- at least you got there and home safe and sound.

Moo -- great pictures. You did great on your scooter I am sure I would have ran someone down.

I did pretty well at work today, except for some coughing during staff meeting. They kept looking at me like I ought to still be at home

If only I had scads of sick leave . . . I would have been home.

I was too hot to take photos at the Flame Tree lunch, Melinda! Plus, I guess I was too excited about meeting everyone for the first time . . .

And I didn't take any photos during our impromptu meets either, dang it!

I saw the pics you posted on the Peeps thread. They were great! Wish I had gotten to meet Lynda.

Here is my blue glow cube drink photo from Le Cellier. I asked if I could have a glow Tink instead of a glow cube and the bartender gave me both!

It was just lovely, meeting great friends. Except the dang drive was still there!

I wouldn't say you talk a lot, but then again, I love that, cause love to listen to people, I am not a talker myself IRL. Some of my favorite times growing up (about 12000 years ago) was sitting around listing to the chit chat.

Nab, I am giving the other light-up Tink pin I bought to my friend at work tomorrow. Hope she likes it. Sounds like Hannah is enjoying hers!

I didn't buy too much this trip, just a few pins, a couple photo frames and one of those Vera Bradley-style purses with the Mickey heads for myself and a few little things for my sister and some friends. Oh, and some dog toys for the grandpuppy, which my DH already mailed to our daughter.

Glad you found someone to remove the tag from your hubby's shirt!!!

I think no matter how many photos we take, we always wish we had taken more . . . I took way too many parade and fireworks photos, as usual.

Here is a funny pic I took of my hubby with the one adult beverage he had during the entire trip. More than one use for those frozen margaritas, LOL!!!

Moo! A glow cube and a Tinkerbell? Awesome! We had a great server at LeCellier too. Love Mr. Moo with the margarita on his head! Did anyone else have that Grand Marnier drink in France? Yuummmm! I'd never had one of those before!

BabyN - Don't feel bad. I never found the motivation to send to Twinkie anyway.

Today, however I am driven by the need to clean. It's Friday now and I can't go into the weekend with my house a mess. I've already cleaned the bathrooms, Seth is vacuuming(better than nothing) and I'm washing some clothes. Plus I've folded and half put away a load. Now I am doing bills and making a grocery list.

Great pictures Moo. Except that one of me not looking or ready for a picture. That's scary.

I too would like to see some pictures from the Flame Tree meet.
