oh, baby nurse...past sat., i was involved...with a mixed up youngster..

sometimes, you just go with it, while presenting their need to "re-think"

the crazy thoughts they are hanging onto...[ was not getting my hopes
for sucess up...becuase he has been resisting anything having to help
himself] ...ha! waht a surprise....he came up & greeted me! ,
wow..if one saw how he was saturday..then you would be...impressed.

speaking of today....[ placed every curse word you can imagine & add a
few new ones]...that would described....how bad things were...when
we took over...after 2 days off...,

....now if you all haven't read..my long/boring posts??? & go hiding
in the hay pile..then shame on you!!!!, yes, iam bragging....if you could've
have seen ...the accomplishment...from the things....i been presenting,

..Y-o-u, would be have been sooooo amazed...what these "ways of
thinking" accomplished..& under the worst of conditions. ha! * ok???
i may never get this stupid computer junk correctly.....but i have no
doubts...zip!...that these lil'ways of thinking...can be "banked" on! nor
would you believe...the story- , let's just say...he was screaming
cursing..everybody..anyone/near..,"anger" @ a level thats undescrible...
...& by the time-after...i interacted....he was the sweetest lil'
..you ever want to meet?...ahhhhh, knowing real "reality"..can/ does works
lil' miracles...

ps, we had students...some sneaked back without..permission..and they
were not mature...or experience..to grasp the very basics..of psych 101,
needless to say, they were tears....and were over whelmed...kinda like
cooking for a master feast..when you never learn how to boil water...
their instructor...had to do a lil' extra..."teaching"...as, they were
playing with something..that they had no idea...


lucky for them, the other rn i was working with, saw & redirected them
out of danger....

oh, fyi..whenever,i make my nursing judgments, it is based on nursing
knowledge....and experiences...that is in the best interests..of the pt..,
it isn't based on a popularity contest..or my personal opinions...* i have no
time..to waste on judging others..when iam trying to meet a nursing
objective...,

it was an amazing turn around..where before, the pt. was completely
out of control...& where the interventions i chosen [you know them] ,
produced the desire results...[ allowing him to regain reality and cope
with alter body image...where another hospital ..really messed up...

can you tell..iam very happy...with these results?

..i hope the students...learn form their lack of knowledge, * i know their
instructor...had a lil' class session...[ they were putting themselves, the
staff in real danger...and disrupting our ward...without even realizing it,
..oh, they do now! nothing like a lil'education....?

GOOG MORNIN all!! Hello Sunshine! Wake up sleepy heads - no oversleepin this day!

i like that G - "...learn from the lack of knowledge..." indeed! I feel I'm only ignorant when I dont "learn" from my ignorance!!

I'm so excited for the tea, I couldnt sleep!! That and my old noise machine died, I bought a new one - and its keeping me awake!! I put it on ocean sounds (always used to) and the darned birds in this one woke me up - so I put it on background white noise - that woke me up as I thought someone had left the tv on!!

Smarty Pants dh fixed things that were broken, squared things with the FDA, and so in 2 hours I wont have internet - what will I do at 5:30 in the mornings??

Uma must've had a late night, she never called! You'd think she was on vacation!!

I'm now trying to scramble to figure out how to use 6 TS credits DD may have to eat at the Califiornia Grill! (we'll have to give up one of our ressies Th or F so we can see Fantasmic... )

After all that commotion, we were out of lemonade. The redhead was bitterly disappointed. He helped me fix supper though, so that made him happy.

You'd think one would have looked into that first. Too bad you live in mamacantfindyou, IN and couldn't run up to the store and get some. Poor redhead.

Sandy...too many TS credits? Doesn't sound like too bad of a dilemma to me!!

I could use any good thoughts/prayers/pixie dust/well wishes sent my way today. The person who supervises all of the student teachers is coming to evaluate me. She comes to evaluate us 4 times a year. I won't bore you with the details but there's a scoring system and if you don't get a certain score you don't get to be a teacher. You get points off for any little thing you do wrong. So, think of me today, I'm nervous!

Goog Morning!

I did not sleep so well last night. You'd think that after going going going all day I would have been able to go right to sleep. But I was very much awake until after 11. Then I had my usual 2-3 times a night bathroom trips, plus waking up at 4 and feeling like something had been biting my leg all night, it's still itchy. AND I was feeling sick, had a headache and was wide awake. But I pressed on and let Chad drag me out of bed. Literally. He actually drags me out of bed. lol. I am planning on putting in a call to my youngest sister this morning to see if she can come over ASAP and cut my hair. I am going to get about 2 inches off. That way it has lots of time to grow back before the baby comes(while it grows like crazy) I am trying to grow out my fake color since I am no longer wealthy enough to color my hair. lol.

Plus I have school on my list of things to do, laundry, finishing vacuuming and counting all the boys change and getting it rolled up. If it's sunny out this morning school is going on the back burner because this is my LAST chance to lay out before this weekend. I guess I can make them sit out there with me and do school. LOL! Me in their pool, them doing school. Sounds about right, doesn't it?

PJ, good luck today!

Twinkie, nothing happened last night. DD came home alone.

Unlike Cel and Sandy, I did NOT wake up early, more like 10:30, but have to get ready for tea soon. Hopped in the shower, waiting for my hair to dry a bit more, then I will help it along with the dryer, then hot rollers. Have to leave in about an hour. I'll post an update when I get home.

that is sure weird about the sun shining and it raining at the same time.....that happened the other day as hubby was in the pool and I was lounging nearby......a big black cloud appears .....yup right over moi's suntanning body and it was sunny too.......today in Maine it is almost 90.....but heck...no mugginess like in Disney........I was never so hot as I was there....hard to breathe ......
Almost forgot to eat lunch and I had the shakes this time......sort of said.....oh wow....didnt have hubby saying lets eat a snack or a lunch.......but clothes are almost done and I have put away the two suitcases and two carryons....took a while but we are almost done.......
Tonight we can go and pick up our tv set......kinda anxious to see this thing up close and personal.......never had something big like this one......
I forgot to add before I left that Homer the other Beta died before we left.....I was kinda glad that it expired before I brought the little tank next door for them to watch him...hahha......it would of been to much for little Jacob to babysit my fish when he was on his last leg.......I mean last fin...

yes, yes, yes...what a high! ..."talk'...is one thing, but 2 see
all the things come together....like putting a masterpiece, in
human being terms..ahhhhhhh, during the exchanges.....

"give me the shot!".....noooooo, some things require good old
fashioned....one on one, introjections not injections...meds, can
only support..a recovery....they are never a "recovery" by
themsleves...sorry, there is no pill, that can cure problems,
* without corrective measures..& resolving ineffective coping...





me & my co-workers..are a team.... ...& we have one
young lady...taking schooling to become a rn.

* brillliant...absoulte brilliant!!! no not me silly, but the wisdom from our
grandparents..family values, and good old commom sense....



[i was not aware..of what the students were doing. i was not even
aware they were sneaking behind..the scene...(cleveland dropped a
major diaster in the making on us..& managing his outrages....were
requiring my full attentions)...buttie!!!, while he was spilling vile and
hostile intententions..."i refused to let any of it stop the nursing
intereventions..he desparatly needed...& he was also providing lil'hints...
that were my guide....while the other rn?..was redirecting the students-

..they almost "jumped in"..into something..{they had no ideas-
what they were doing}...oh, my coworker..maybe she little..but can be
a tiggerss..& she was! * this is very intense interacting..& cannot
be distracted..if we are to be sucessful... ]


..ha!...understanding the real "reality'...permitted me...to support him
thru all the "out of control anger"..& finally get to the source/s. and
@ this junction...i felt...soooo & ...to what "he felt"
was done to him....* even though it saved his life. no body wanted
to "deal" with him....oh, he gave good reasons..to keep away...but
you already know..the importance ..of having someone caring for you
[a very basic need ..for all of us. ]


later, when our meds nurse..gave his scheduled meds?...she proclaimed..
"you couldn't asked for a more sweeter person, appricating everyone for
everthing...and sooo sorry...., ". but l want to add this...in
reality.....he had every right to feel /express the anger...for what was
done to him....this is a story..that i will never forget....i think everyone
will never forget.

....i am saying...if a person desire a better life, & able to process reality,
..we can/will help them to recover their emotional health...now that's
a very bold statment...but one i beleive in!

..moo~whoa~hooter..i'm still glowing from this....in life...i can't stress
enough...how important..the lil'act of kindness you all are doing..are
helping the world..we all live in! ...hey, anyone saving a

Okay. What is give kids the world? I had no idea you were going on vacation and going to be doing other things.

I did get out in some sun. It was mostly cloudly, but sunny occasionally. I made the boys popcorn for lunch and we didn't get to do English and History before we went out. I had planned on doing it when we came back inside, but I had to lay down with Kaleb. I didn't get up until 2:45. Oh well.

The bestest news of the day is Prison Break season 2 just arrived in the mail today! We have 2 free weeks of netflix to watch it! LOL!

I'm BAAAAAACKKKKKK!!!

Well, we had a lovely tea. Those in attendance where: Celery, Tammy, Jeanie and Cel's mom; Nab and kids, Moo, Sandy and DD and yours truly. Sandy's DH chose to wait in the Lobby, I guess tea was too feminine for him, LOL.

Jeanie is just precious, a tiny little pretty girl with blonde curles, and she was perfectly behaved. Did'nt fuss at all, and enjoyed her "tea". All the kids were really good.
Sandy's DD went to BBB today and was all dressed up/made up as Sleeping Beauty and looked so pretty. Her birthday is I think tomorrow, but they made a big announcement at some point about it being her birtday today and brought out a big plate with a white chocolote slipper and chocolate something or other and "Happy Birthday Meagan" written on it. Nab's DD is going to BBB tomorrow, but does not know that. Pictures were taken!

After close to 2 hours, we left, and took group pictures on the staircase. Well, Sandy's DH and Cel's mom took the pics. Sandy's DH had about 3 cameras dangling from his wrist, LOL.
I have some pics from tea on my camera, but I have to wait for one of my kids to transfer them from the camera, I am technically challenged with that.

Then everyone went on their way. Cel and company and Moo to MK, Nab and kids to the Poly for dinner at Ohana's and I don't know where Sandy and family were going. I went home!

Oh, and Sandy handed out very cute bracelets, Cel handed out her cute bookmarks, and Nab gave me a whole big goodie bag, and Moo had oven mitts with maps of Michigan on it.
And Cel wore her pooh skirt, and Jeanie wore a cute outfit Cel made her with tulle in the skirt.

And good news: Moo is getting a replacement batphone, hopefully delivered today, so she might post later tonight.

Just a quick "drive by" to say I am glad the Moovers had a delightful tea. It's so neat that you were able to get together in person and do something fun. I am looking forward to hearing about all your adventures.

This week has been super busy and I haven't had time to even peek at the DIS. It's going to be crazy for the rest of this week. Lots of electronic paperwork, which is ironic, since this is the busiest week I have had in months. If it had been like this a few weeks earlier, we wouldn't all have been laid off. LOL. Oh well, I am making hay while the sun shines, as they say, since next week it may be slow.

Howdy everyone......sounds like your teafest was fantastic........I really doubt if I could get DH there too......but he is a good sport and ate with characters with me and encouraged them to sneak up and scare the living bejebbies out of me....
Even though it was 95 today in MAINE......I made homemade mac and cheese so mama could have some.....My sister told me that she was hankering for some and her meals are not being eaten by her......I guess alot of the elderly decide they are not hungry......she did eat about a half cup of it. WHich is better then not eating....
We had taken our ac unit out of the window and put away before we left for Disney and today hubby took the smaller unit and put it back in the window....he said his poor Megara was panting......hahaha...
after visiting mama we went to Best buy and got the tv .....it is stinking BIG....
didnt think that it would be that big but it is......

Lil G......am I strange to you .....do I say things that do not make sense maybe......heck I am just weird......I knew it .....I JUST KNEW IT.
