Twink: I meant that WT was Marita's stalkee, and that she only hides in the bushes for him not me. Just to clarify. hee hee
Oh. Duh. To myself. Makes total sense. Thanks for clarifying.
twinks - I giggled out loud again! about golden child's shorts being a diaper. he's a wise one. so he must be right.
You should have seen it! It was so funny. It went like this
Me: Goldenchild!!!!
Why did you wet your pants? That is NOT good.
Him:*points to shorts* Diaper. Duh.
Me: No! NO! Those are PANTs not a diaper. You put your tinkle in the potty!!!
Him:
The look on his face was priceless. It was classic teenage "could you be any stupider Mom?". I know. Cause I also have a teenager.
For the record, I have been letting him run around au natural but put the shorts on him to go outside. He always wets his pants outside because why would any self respecting boy come inside to pee? He might miss something fun.
Twinkie - You are brave, or crazy to try and potty train so young.
I'm assuming you want Goldenchild to be out of diapers before the baby, which is why you are on a potty training kick while pregnant? I've been buying diapers for the new baby since I haven't had to buy them for Kaleb anymore.
Yes I am crazy. My children do not decide on their own. They would be happy to wear a diaper until 5th grade or maybe till they get jobs at NASA. And except for my oldest, who is a whole nother story since that involved full time daycare and an ongoing custody battle and working with someone who was not speaking to us, I have a tradition of potty training while pregnant.
Stupid I know.
I started so early because I figured I should do this in my second trimester instead of my third like last time.
And I will admit. I succumbed to peer pressure. I have this "friend" whose 4th child is 4 months younger than Goldenchild and her babysitter is the big sister of my babysitter who reported to me that this kid... we will call him Wonderchild, potty trained himself... in ONE week, on his own, at 22 months, has no accidents AND is dry at night. And he speaks clearly in full sentences. Goldenchild- being a ninja, is the strong silent type. As evidenced by our earlier conversation
This "friend" is also the type whose house is always spotless, her children are always well dressed and well mannered, and her husband's big complaint is that she scrubs the toilets too often. If you open an cupboard, every single grocery has been moved from the original packaging to coordinating and labeled tupperware. The children's rooms are also ultra organized with labeled bins. Her scrapbooks are all up to date for all four children and she is interested in photography so her pictures look professional. And she is tall and blonde and always loses the baby weight by the time the baby is 8 weeks.
She reminds me of you MP. It would be easy not to like you both if you were both not sooo sweet.
