It is really hot outside. Poly did you sent me your weather. They have tornado warnings out again today up north from us.

We found the hidden treasure, we made eye patches and played pirate games. Now we are exhausted!!!

But we can't let the team down tonight so off to base ball later. Lots of Gatorade tonight.

MommyP- I hope you got a nap today! When is your new apt with the mortgage peeps?

No naps for me. Wouldn't you know it that EVERY time I lay down to rest I just fall asleep and the phone rings, or a child bothers me or like today it was the stupid rental snoopers.

Our appointment was yesterday. It went very well. We will qualify, there is no doubt about that. Unless someone has stolen our identity since last summer when we saw what our credit scores were. Our mortgage payment for the house will only be the same as what we are paying in rent right now. When we have the baby it will go down about $100. (you get deductions for how many kids you have) We actually might have the opportunity to get a county loan that would give us up to $30,000(interest free) towards closing costs and then the rest goes to take the loan amount down. However that program is out of money until Sept. and with the other loan program you are on a timeline as far as them running out of money for the year. So once we get approved we are moving ahead and if it's Sept. at that time and money is there we'll use that program if not we aren't waiting. That's what happened last time. We HAD to have that money before(prices were much higher) and they kept telling us a month and then when the month came there still was no money. So now it's up to the builder. He has to talk to the lender and be approved by them and then we sign a contract. Hopefully he keeps his word so far and floats everything until the lender gives any money(not until the slab is down) because we don't have anything and he knows that. So we'll see. I'm not getting excited until we sign the contract and our land is cleared. If it does all work out though we should be in the new house before the baby comes!

I'm not sick today. But I have been so tired and dizzy! I tried to nap, but as always it didn't happen.

I've been to the dentist today. He's such a cutie. then I helped my mom move couches and stuff. they are slowly moving into a new house, and now I"m at grandma's on her high speed internet. taking advantage of it while I can.

Tomorrow Night is DisneyMania Night at the Hogle Zoo!!!! YAY!

We bought season family passes and love to walk around the zoo.
I do feel sorry for the animals sometimes. I think they are crazy! Like the penguins on Happy Feet in the zoo enclosure with simulated environment.
The elephants just pace back and forth and the wolves just pace a huge sad figure 8 in their enclosure. The big cats are planning the zoo keepers murder.

Don't know what to expect with actual Disney folks in Utah. It'll probably be some super-obscure Disney radio personality??? I'll tell ya all about it thursday.

Hi MP! thanks for the house update... how exciting to be maybe mooved in before Lil Manna arrives! (I bet I will STILL have boxes marked misc in the corners) I know what you mean about the Nap Syndrome. If I doze off, someone bleeds or really NEEDs to tell me something. I am trying to put my feet up a couple times a day.

Hi Nab- your pirate activity sounds fun. I am too lazy to take my kids anywhere. And it is hot.

Actually the kids were non stop bickering yesterday. Today I laid down the law and they have been good! I am resting now and soon I will start the afternoon tidy/cook/clean/hide the mess before daddy comes home.

MommyP, hope things go well with getting a house. That will be a huge relief for you, I'm sure! There's nothing like having your own place to call home.

Hi, Kay! We use a couple window AC units to cool our house. I know what you mean about the humidity. We left them on all day so our house would be bearable this evening.

I made it through my first day back to work. Meetings galore. At least that helps make the day go by quickly.

My hip is feeling a bit better today. I will blast it with the water jet in the hot tub later

I picked our dog up from the boarding kennel after work. I was glad to hear that he did OK while we were away. I bribed him with some pizza crust tonight so he wouldn't continue to be sulky that we were away
