Nothing much to report here today, still crazy busy, going to be much worse next week. Whole new forecast process for forecast, and if that were not enough, we are trying to get Disneyland Resorts onboard with the same process. Very complicated, with reorganizations out there and technical stuff I wont bore you, but it's had at least 6 people out here hopping for weeks now.

Weather is FINALLY were its supposed to be this time of year, 80 degrees and sunny, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Was about 5 weeks late this year.

I decided to boil some hard cooked eggs in my handy-dandy microwave egg boiler thingie and heard a big POP!!! The entire thing is laying on its side with cracked eggs and pieces of egg shells all over.........

I am mighty tempted to say the heck with it and leave it for tomorrow and go to bed

I made no money selling Tupperware because I bought all my friends and families stuff with my consultants discount. LOL!

I wish you had started selling Partylite instead. I have more room to store candles than I do for stoneware.

Marita-- Yes I am feeling much better thanks. I have just been busy doing things that got behind while everyone was sick.

We went and got our Christmas Pictures done this morning. I really like how they turned out. I usually hate my picture but I am ok with this one. I will have to get Hubby to put them on the computer now, we got a cd with our package.

Moo-- your right it is a beautiful day out there today. Mild and sunny.

Had to come home and change so we can enjoy the rest of the day!

We went to the Buckler's Craft fair this morning. The was the biggest waste of $10(admission) ever. The November one is always the biggest, but we haven't been in probably 6 years or more. It was SO small. Not a whole lot of vendors and so much JUNK. Hopefully we will regain our $10 though because someone took my number and email because she wants a mei tai(I was smart and wore Ellie in something I had made because we were going to be around crafty people. lol) for her friend. Someone else asked me about where I got it and seemed disappointed when I said I had made it. I am going to make up some cards to give out because I've been getting a lot of inquiries lately.

mommyp - I can't justify the expense of partylite when glade makes such cheap, good smelling soy based candles.

Pampered chef is expensive, but the products are worth it.

NAB, glad you're feeling better. I love the pictures....you all look great! I envy you for having them done so early. I always do ours of the 2 kids in front of our own tree. Usually, I take the pictures on the morning of our Santa party, and then have Snapfish make the cards.


I can't believe Thanksgiving is in 3 weeks! I started creating the menu and taking inventory of things I'll need to buy to make everything. At least I can buy baking ingredients over the next couple of weeks instead of having to do it all at once.


In the midst of my cleaning frenzy today, I decided to overhaul Natasha's bureaus. Gah! Two kitchen trashbags of clothes she's outgrown! And about six pairs of shoes that no longer fit. A shame, since most of them were hardly ever worn. I would like the cleaning frenzy to continue into Boris' room, but Boris' soccer pizza party is at 5pm. I don't want to start and then have to stop in the middle of that project, so I guess I'll leave it for next weekend.


MommyP, have you ever tried selling your creations on Etsy? I bet you'd do well over there. I have a friend who sells her handmade crocheted baby sweater sets with great success over there. Not sure about the seller's fees, etc., though.

Lynt, dont have to worry about Thanksgiving here (again - Christmas Eve is my time to freak out). My BIL invited us to his house. Difference is, his wife left him after last xmas, he said he doesnt know how he will make it, but he has lots of people to pitch in.

Moo, hope you enjoyed the great weather. We had 2 great days here, and now hurricane Ida is just close enough to make things cloudy and rainy in the next few days

I worked 62.5 hours last week, which looking at it doesnt seem like much, why is that??? ANother 7 hours today. But I did go grocery shopping yesterday and made dinner today.
Next week is the pinnacle of all this frantic work, I can't wait But at least I know I dont have to drive home in the dark, I got BB convinced.

I've been playing right eye, left eye lately a lot. I close right I, I can see fuzzy but OK, I close left eye, it's all a blurr. So they are doing right eye first. Starting eyelid scrubs tomorrow, which when I first heard it made me fear you had to lift up eyelid and scrub underneath, but no, just surface to remove any bacteria or whatever that may be there.

One more week until I get my eye lens sucked out, w00t!!!!!!!!!!!!

My poor old dog, he had fallen and couldn't get up. He's 15 or 16 and was by his food bowl in the kitchen today, and I guess slipped on the tile floor. I heard desperate WOOF's from the kitchen, which he never does.
He was sitting spread-eagled on the floor and couldnt get up. Bad hips!
DH dragged him to the carpet where he could get some footing. His food bowl is now permanently moved to the carpeted area. He needs shoving his hind quarters to get into the car to go to the Vet's, too.
