I took a bath and then shower and had a sandwich, well half a sandwich. I was hungry but didn't feel like eating. Better now. I rinsed it down with gatoraid.

Allie - I don't want a homebirth(I'm afraid I'll bleed too much since it's my 6th baby), but I'm just afraid things might go too fast to make it to the birth center. I hope we can. If we do have the baby at home we'll still have to go in because I'm sure to tear since I always have. So I'll need the midwife to stitch me up.

I guess I'll pull up a contraction counter online just for kicks. I am having them, but not like "got to have the baby" close.

MommyPoppins: You look great! My respectful advice is to tell your mom you are going to the movies so she will watch the boys and then go to the Birth Center. I am sure if you walk around a few laps inside an A/C walmart or home depot on the way you will be in labor. If you have the baby at home then you will have to clean it up. Today would be a great birthday. It is my anniversary.

Hi everybodee else. I admit I have skimmed. But I am wondering if Utahmama has been tarred and feathered by angry mamas after she gave out goldfish at Norah's party? and if the BabynurseCowgirl is still helping at the LooUHvulle baby boom? and if Peej handed out LuckyCharms to the thugbabies (did Exodus show up?) on the first day with a little poem about how the red balloon will remind them to soar above the clouds and try new things and pink heart reminds them that the teacher cares about them? Is Lynette still swimming or battling the bats? Does Pumba still hate snow? Does Wheat Thins realize a small box now costs $3.59??

How far away is the birth center? Hope you are able to make it.

My best friend's brother and his wife had there baby at home. Not intentionally, but the baby was coming, and they had no choice. Luckily he is a nurse practitioner, but had never birthed a baby before, so his first one was his own daughter.

I did NOT deny them, they were suggested as frends on the site. Trust me, my kids would not want mom as a facebook friend, LOL. Tehy never asked me to be added.

Gotta go eat something. And then make stuffed mushrooms or roasted walnuts or Almond cognac truffels. Or NOT!

Allie - The birth center is 45 minutes away. But the later it gets tonight the less time it will take to get there since traffic will slow down. (if it's tonight)

If this isn't the start of labor I am going to be pissed in the morning. lol. Another sleepless night with nothing to show for it. Yuck.

I am having contractions ranging from 2-8 minutes apart depending on what I'm doing. Sometimes I can't tell if I'm having one for sure unless I feel if my belly is hard because my back hurts so badly. My Mom had back labor with all of us. Didn't know she was in labor until her water broke, got to the hospital with me and was 8cm. lol. So maybe that's what's happening this time. Who knows. I just hate not knowing. My friend is coming over in a little while to check me and see.

DH has tomorrow off again. How is it he has the same amount of time off as I do, but he seems to take a lot more time off? I don't get it
I think I feel a sick day coming on soonishly.

Gotta go dry my work clothes and hang them up and then do something with the mushrooms (maybe throw them out, they are not looking so hot, LOL)

My friend check me and I'm 6cm and she could stretch it to 7. She said to sit on the toilet with legs spread so the baby's head would put more pressure on my cervix. I'm going to have her check me again at 9. If I am further progressed I'll call the midwife and head into the birth center.

p.s. I am also planning for tomorrow. Well, the whole week actually. Somehow I put 3 hours into said planning earlier and it's still not finished. Blah. I just want it to go smoothly.
