nab - we have a clinic in Skowhegan!

marita - maybe we can try the kat kora restaurant for lunch one day. How about October 1st? Alli and I will be at MGM - you could meet us and ride the boat to Boardwalk!
woo!

I could do that IF I still worked at YB. (Remember, I'm right outside the Studios now) and IF Kat Kora were open for lunch, LOL. How about 50's prime time?

1. more likely the pantry ;) heh heh little snack humor there folks

2. Actually I have already used that name. But not spelled "correctly" because my grandma was Elizabeth. Good to know that Renee is still available. My daughter suggested St. Lewis so the baby could be named after Lewis (of Lewis and Clark) AND the city with the Big Arch. It is an improvement since she thought Grasshopper should be named Rainbow if he was a girl.

1. Wow Twink. I wonder why snack humor hasn't gone mainstream? :duck:<--pretend that's a lemon. heh heh heh

2. I realize that you have already used the incorrect form of Elisabeth. I was giving you a chance to redeem yourself. Sheesh.

I think you should name the baby Big Arch. In fact, I might just refer to your growing fetus as such. YWIA.

BabyN - My sister's new little girl's middle name is Renee. It's also my sisters middle name.

Your family obviously has awesome taste.;)

BNCG,

Maybe all that cowboy stuff got the poor fortune cookie confused :confused3

finally did the feta cheese stuffed mushroom caps with rosemary oil and toasted breadcrumbs. Edible, except for rubbery mushrooms, but definitely not something to be served to guest, sigh!

Almond cognac truffles still to go, but probably not tonight. My track recortd of making delicious food and wine recipes so for is 0-3.

Thanks PJ! And thanks for the gifts! :rotfl2:
Yw looza palooza. That monkey looked like he was pondering the age old monkey/soup question. Can you blame him?

I am in Skowegen Maine. We were in Lake Placid for few days. It was so nice and beautiful there. Very hot though. Not sure if we will be staying here one more day or moving on and right our of your country today. Not with out shopping though. Have to get my cereal and other goodies we don't have at home. Plus your Walmarts have way different stuff then ours. We may hit the mall in Bangor.
Oooh...sounds fun!! Hope you had a nice day whatever you decided to do! :)

Acknowledged politely. Replied Brilliantly.
Rudely ignored. Blatantly not replied.

Marita...better luck next time.

Today's theme was bathroom related accidents.:scared: I'll spare y'all the details, but I'm hoping for a different theme tomorrow. Something along the lines of quietly working and no fighting. Hey, I can dream! :teacher:

Celery -- lots of road work here, do you drive here?

We did stay another night. We went to Bangor and shopped. Also saw Stephen King's House I will have to post a picture when I get home.

One thing I noticed with childerns clothes this fall for girls is men's shirts, ties ,vests and scarves. Hannah loves this look. This is the Jonas look I believe. Hannah got spoiled yesterday. She got Camp rock throw, Joe Jonas pillow case, Jonas bros. necklace, Camp Rock running shoes and two tie outfits for the first two days of school....:laughing:I'm sure you see a theme going this trip. She is actually going to see the Jonas Brothers in concert the day after we get back. Nicholas got two pair of shoes......size 13 :scared1:

What did I buy nothing....isn't that how it always goes.

For sure we will be heading back to your own country today.

Nab, did you see me waving at you from the window of my bff's house????

Nab - I've never been to the Maine clinics.
the farthest north I've been is to our Connecticut clinic once.

ATTENTION - I sent you all a friend suggestion on facebook. It's my mom! Patricia = CeleryMama

If I skipped you, wait for someone to add her and then search.
I dunno how she feels about me posting her last name, but her last name is not the same as mine.

That is all.
:wizard:

The waterbed report: Well, the dang thing finally aired out enough that I could sleep in my bedroom again. Geesh!

CelMama - How long did it take you figure out who I am over on FB?!

poly - SO nice to see you again. Hope things start looking up soon for you and your hubby. I finally did a friend request (thanks, Melinda)!

MommyP - Does it seem very different having a baby girl? Less likely to be sprinkled, anyway! ;) I think Ellie and Mercedes are going to end up being best buddies :)

Twink and Peej - We need classroom reports!

Nabbie - What good US stuff did you find other than Hannah's goodies?

bbn - Has the baby birthin' slowed down yet?

Marita - I have given up trying to cook after a couple failed batches of crustless mini quiches. It's just been easier lately to grill some kind of meat and eat a little salad or veggies. I had a craving last night so I picked up some takeout pork chop suey, hold the rice, after working out. Yummm.

:yay:~~~ i always..knew...m.p. would look "pretty" in pink!

....well..mp, "passing things down"..from generation to generation....

....including..."great knowledge", { anything that helps to protect
life... i consider "great'. } & .....what i expressed..here...were
wise tales....from the extended family.....where child-birth..was
in~deeds..a family affair. "c~section"....being avoided...by such a
simple intervention, may have saved..her lil'noggin...because of
her caring aunt.

pssst, this old -fashioned...knowledge base...has been my the
corner stone....as far back..when i was a paper boy!

yes..babn?...."that's exactly....what they charted....flk", because,
...they 're from the very, very old school...when nurses were not permitted
to dx...what they knew......something, wasn't right.

[ most of those nurses...graduated from the 1940's. ]

...wow, mp~~~..she did not look liked..a 9 pounder......so tiny.
..now our second one, "the one", that caused alot emotional stressors....

.....:rolleyes1, was 9~6, but mostly...in his head, :scared1:! * as soon
..as he was born.....i knew...he was above the normal limits....of course,
it didn't take...him long..to be banned from the nursery. [ now that
would have..been a funny story, if he was someone else ....baby.]

...honey??? are you listening...to all that noise/s..down @ the nursery?
wonder, what's going on? ....they must be doing circs...on all the boys...

..{who had thought..it was ...just one lil' rascal? }

Good afternoon everyone!

We are in New Brunswick today and just set up camp.

Heading to the Bay of Fundy to walk on the ocean floor when the tide is low. Hubby has wanted to do this for awhile. We are leaving my mom at the campsite to watch tv . She can't do all the hiking involved.

Moo-- loved your new pics on FB. You will be at your 100 lb mark before you know it. How is your hubby doing? My mom said you look much younger now.

We got lots of goodies at the grocery store that we don't have at home. Hannah got lots of different kinds of Gold Fish ( we have cheese and pizza flavours) she bought chocolate, pretzel, and smore flavour. Last time we bought coloured ones. They were a hit at school. We also got Cookies and creme, Special K chocolate, and cinimmon and pecan, and the kids love Cocoa Pebbles cereal. I picked up some yogurt (Yoplait dessert flavours) I am sure there are more things but can't remember. Oh yeah Nicholas bought two cases of cherry coke.

Babynurse-- was that you looking out the window at Stephen Kings house...:lmao:They said that at Halloween he has some kind of tunnel to his house from outside that if you make it though trick doors etc and find him he will give you $1000.

Well off to do some hiking in the heat. Tomorrow we are heading to Halifax. Heard that a tropical storm is going to hit there on Sunday. It already cancelled our Bluenose curise. Hope we don't blow away.:rotfl:

Nab, sounds like you quite a shopping spree!

Hope the hurricane misses all our northern friends

Not much to report here. Both my co-workers I dont much care about are out today and tomorrw, whew! So is another guy. So just BB and me today and tomorrow.

DD took her initial tests and physicals for the AF today and yesterday, but has to stay over another day for x-rays for her knee where she tore a tendon maybe 8 years ago (which cost thousands to fix!). But she won't hear for awhile.

DS continues to do great, he's happy with his choice of AF.

DH bought walnut fudge brownies today. They look really goog! Not hungry for them now, but I might pick up some for late nights ahead in the office next week.

Awww, thanks, Nabbie! Please tell your mom I said hi and thank her for her nice words :goodvibes Sounds like you're having a fabulous trip. I'd love to be able to see what is left behind on the ocean floor like that :thumbsup2

Hope your weather is decent. I'm heading up north tomorrow on my furlough day and will be sitting by a lake (North Higgins Lake) in the afternoon and also having dinner on the beach. It's a retirement party. I'm really looking forward to relaxing by the water.

Marita: You have to be hungry to eat walnut fudge brownies??? Who knew??? What a concept!!!!

Hi everyone. I'm trying to make it over here more often.

Trying to pass on the fridge swap. 17 months is a long time to do that. Plus I don't have a trip in my future.

I've been walking lately and today I was stopped by a woman to ask me to be on the look out for stuff that theives might have thrown about during last nights neighborhood car break ins. Wouldn't you know a few houses down I found some of her DH stuff?

Then as I was going through the streets with my eyes scanning everywhere, I found pills dumped all over a few lawns and in the street. Unmarked bottles and huge horse size pills. In my book, a neighborhood with lots of kids, not good. So then I spot a large beach duffle with beach gear and personal items and more pills under a tree. I grab that, clean up the spilt pills and took it home where I call the police to come and get it.

There were personal items all over the neighborhood, like make-up, loose change, elastics for braces, the other stuff I found were papers for registration on vehiles and id cards and membership cards.

I guess that's a sign of our troubled times. So, lock your cars and don't leave things in them you need.

Have a great day!

MommyP - Does it seem very different having a baby girl? Less likely to be sprinkled, anyway! ;) I think Ellie and Mercedes are going to end up being best buddies :)

Yes it is very different!!

Today I finally feel more human. My stinking legs started swelling on Wednesday. This morning they were back to normal, but after going out to the peds today they are swollin again, I went my whole pregnancy without any swelling and now it's here. :confused3
