Yeah, that's basically what we all wear. It's all the rage. Except mine also has bumblebees on the butt. It's really flattering. In reality what I'm wearing will be decided as of tomorrow morning. Cuz that's how I roll. Hope your cake turned out well. I took cake decorating classes all through middle school. Yeah, I was super cool even then.

wow...wt's??? sports ill., coverage..of the bowl....games..last year,
omitted osu/texas. [ that is..in ohio. wonder why,

however, it isn't funny..when one thinks....how they hurt the players

being cheated. * usc is going to get clobbered by osu....when they
...visit ohio stadium. [ the college sytem....needs to address bowls
games....& teams..playing on their "home field....because it does
makes....a "measurable" difference.

dedicated room? [ iam guessing, one with wt's & walt...'s picture}

...or a "sab pool"? sounds greasy to me but the bubbles would be

..then there's use year???? our scout....thinks..febuary...but
we go in december.....& the months..we haven't went...ever,
are...jan., feb., april, may. but once we retired, we are planning
on....moving to jacksonville, ....& we prefer..the cooler..months
over summer. school- is effecting us now...but that is going to
change. right now....it only takes one day..to drive to jacksonville.

we're going with 321 points [ dividing them up...by "3"]. we still
trying to deduced a point value......system.

...sometimes..it's the lil'things..that makes your day? we made all
the tolls...., just a few hours....before they "jumped" from 1.25
to 2.00.

..did i mentioned.....one of the faires..called me "human" ? of course
she was giving me..an order...., [needless..to say, jordan scolded
me. ],

then @ the disney outlet, we got 75% off...their already...sales
prices...alot of the hallowween party pins from last year...including..the
limited edition set...that were $45 smackers...we got for 1.60,each.

...the...one thing...me & wt's have in common, only one thing better
than ....getting.....real bargains, any guessers? { i thought not} .

what's that old proverb?....one man's junk, is another man's thrill, by
ron howard?....or was that opie pie?

can you imagined..life without cookies? no i can't!

P.J.-- Happy First Day of school! It is the most exciting one after all. What bad thing could happen the first day.

I have a busy day ahead of me. Have to do some of this Then pack clothes, food, bedding and all the other misc. stuff in the trailer. We have been telling the kids for days to charge their games, cameras etc. But it has yet to be done.

And on top of this make sure everyone is feed today. Nicholas has a ball game tonight too!

We leave to go to Lake Placid tomorrow morning.

Okay so my sister finally went into REAL labor yesterday. They went to the hospital around 3:30pm, she was only 4cm around 5pm. My older sister, neice and I went to my appointment(I'm 4cm baby really low, I think she was moving her fingers around in too much of a stretching and sweeping motion which I didn't want I contracted all night and was miserable) early and then went to the hospital. She was having contractions about every 5 minutes when we got there around 8:30 they picked up some and she was complaining of pressure and was shakey. 9:15 the midwife arrived to check her thinking that she should be 8cm by then. She was only 5. So she broke her water and made her get out of the bed.(we'd been trying to get her walking or on the birth ball the whole time). Then she(midwife) told us that she was afraid that the baby wasn't going to fit because she was still at 0 station and hadn't progressed all that time. She put her on the medical time line. One hour to progress or she had to go to pit. for 2 hours. Then after 2 hours she'd have to have a section. I was pretty irritated considering she hadn't been out of the bed the whole time to help the baby decend and 1 hour isn't very much time. So FINALLY my mom(the only person Aimee would listen to) quit being so babying and made Aimee stay out of bed and get on her feet more. Of course Aimee had no idea why we were all making her stay up and about. Thankfully when the midwife came back she was 6cm. That was about 10:45. At 12 she started practice pushing while the midwife held back a lip of cervix that wasn't going away fast enough(Aimee felt she had to push at 8 cm) I think it was about 12:05ish that she started for real pushing and Mercedes was born at 12:37am. Aimee did amazing she didn't once ask for drugs. She went that whole time with hard labor and never caved. We were so proud of her. We all had really short active labor stages and she did not. I got home at 2:40AM. Didn't really get any sleep until after Chad's alarm went off at 4:15. So I'm really hoping my baby doesn't come until we all get a good night of sleep. lol

Goog evening, friends

Waterbed fun (not!) - my mattress sprung a leak in the seam last night, so I had drenched bedding and had to sleep in my DD's very uncomfortable futon bed. Oh, my poor back! Hubby and I just got the new mattress in the frame and are filling it with warm water now. I had to get a new heater too. Less $$ for Disney next month, I guess. Does anybody know how to get rid of new vinyl smell quickly? P.U. I think I need to ask Mr. Google.

Marita - I saw that youtube a while back! We didn't even try for Le Cel for this trip. I called Disney Dining and tried to add you to our ressie, but had no luck. If you can make it, I guess we'll just have to see if they'll let us squoosh in an extra chair.

we put some baby powder between the mattress cover and the bottom sheets....made some of that stink go away........old man is thinking we are gong ot be going back to the water bed.......we had ours for over 28 years ..well two different bladders.....and we have had this mattress ...jsut the top mattress and put it in our water bed frame and it was almost 1000.00 for that....well I like water and plenty of motion to go with it......so we may be caving and getting back the 50 dollar bladder and our water bed......we shall see....

Well, all I can say is TG waterbed mattresses are not as expensive as regular mattresses Pumba, I wiped down the vinyl with distilled vinegar. I may do that a couple more times. And maybe try baking soda solution too. We ran out our hot water heater, so the water is way too cold to sleep on the new mattress tonight. I'm running our whole house fan with air coming in through the bedroom window. I may let that run all night if it doesn't cause the dogs to bark. Hopefully, once the mattress is up to temperature, that will speed up the off-gassing. Because I know my lungs won't tolerate that at all. I guess I'm resigned to Mari's bed a couple more nights Maybe I can make it a little more comfy tonight.

Marita - Yay for having a day off tomorrow. I worked from home today, so I could at least run the bedding through the wash. That's too bad about the Birnbaum guide.

MommyP - The daughter of one of my friends from high school is being induced early (36 weeks along) tonight due to swelling/pre-eclampsia. My friend will be a grandma for the first time. Hope everything goes OK. My friend is a nurse - not a bbn, but I'm sure she'll be keeping a VERY close eye on things.

"brilliant" ob nurses taught me. & the results?..speak volumes,

....of what we need! [ pssst, i worked 3 years & our department
never lost...a single baby, while just one "quarter", the hospital
....lost 3 newborns,

....also,....our instructor...was in~deeds........an ob legend! she
showed no mercy...to students!.....therefore, i was trembling..when
she requested me to stand...up , on the first....day of class,
{sp~my first...day..in clinical...when...i had the privileged ..to
.....helped that lil' girl [ i think she was barely 12 ]......thru
delivery. that's when ...she shocked....me to this very day....
"ladies...here's a real ob nurse! ...she pulled me aside, to explained
how...""..the grandmother..was, when all the regulars
took credit ...after ignoring all her pleads.....,

point?....isn't bout me,.........noooooooooo, think! they lost
...3 newborns, .....& it would've been 4, ....if it wasn't from all
those brillant nurses..that gave me ..........a super education!

God bless...them, [ MS. DREW, MS. GRIFFTH, MS. MORGAN, MS. KENNeDY,
MS. MARTIN, CPT.NELSON, ..........& we also had some brilliant...
doctors, ...including..dr. kelley~from ohio state! , and dr. ludwig.

..then there was dr. morrison..our peds...dr.! he was the reason,
why no baby....died...on our watch, ever! pssst, he was that good!


..doing ob...facinated..me..the 'dynamics"...& i became..the "high-risk"
...tech...."on call'....., * it was dr. ludwig..that was on duty..
when that 20~weeker....went into labor..."on a sunday"...& we couldn't
get a hold..of the surgery team.....thank..goodnes....we were so
busy, that "we"....didn't think..about was unfolding....right in front of
us......the only way...to explain how both made it....was a
miracle. [ i can still..."see" the mother..taking her last...breath,
falling & hitting the "table" ...zolting her back to life. & i could put
her baby....in one hand...worst..he was a boy....but screaming...
like crazy......and "what".....was her first thing......after starting
life again?...."how my baby?!"....,

....it's just like, the old~lady..in green gables......every baby is
special,in their own ways~ & they are! "what" i learned....from doing
ob? ..life is precious, everyone.' so special, & not to be taken for
granted. every day.

why?, i'm very........what..my own wife..went thru. how she
ever.."pulled"...our second son..thru, cannot be decribed..by words.
* 5 years..later, when ...we were deciding on a third....she said,
"you can't ask me to go thru..that again."...& i knew exactly
what she meant.....as there isn't "no" pedal stol...i can ever..put her
on, & why i will always...be so dedicated..to her. she earned it
all ...in those few seconds....

....any hoots, why old, why......."we"/society....do not "keep" the
..important knowledge..that takes..care of our life..on earth???


for my wish..for lil'baby mercedes, is for some day..her special lil'
auntie, "tells'.../shares...her birthing right..with her.

thank God, she was there! ..., the wonderful values, of
an extending family. there you go! ....mp, you are!

yes..i get that excited..over new births~~~& yes, i wonder
what ever happened to all those.....i was a part of.....

& very shy, around women....except..when he was saving their

kid..., noting somthing..wrong [not a joke}, & they only had 2 vessels
in the cord..instead of 3. * just things ..we always checked for.

sooo the good things..in life, are worth the time & effort, to pass
them on? lil'things..i like to call..'traditions".

I had a leak - from a leak!! Dh fixed it tho!! Glad I noticed it early!

No worries with adding Marita! - just tell them at podium!! You'll never have luck adding a person from the phone - but at the podium - it all works!!

We have the one with not so much motion - its old - and I noticed there are far fewer Waterbed dealers!! What's up with that?? and sheets?? WTH?? I hate getting regular sheets and trying to hook them - I miss the old waterbed sheets!! (the ones that had a pocket for a tube to keep it under the mattress was the bestest!!)

Like Nab I guess I'm heading out of town tomorrow.. I should go to church on Sat and Sun - but DS and DIL are going to the lake - and want us to join them - dh is going on a Boy Scout campout - and its supposed to be super HOT and HUMID!!

DD and I had words - and DS and I had even more words - and DH still has no work - so I'm done.

Lil G - Thanks for your wonderful insight as always.

My sister is having a hard time getting Mercedes to latch on. I told her that God didn't make babies to take a bottle, if so us Mama's would have bottles attached, (lol) so she'll get it eventually.

She had a lot of fluid when she was born and they suctioned her out with that tube thing for at least 5 minutes, so her little throat is probably sore.

As for me another morning and no labor. I'm afraid I'm going to have 2 more weeks and then have to be induced. Which I will be really pissed about since if I was with my other midwife I could be having the baby today if I wanted. I'm having a u/s on Monday and am so tempted to find out. If it's a boy I think I'll be more "whatever" about waiting.

I woke up at 6:30 this morning to a nightmare involving dividing 8 by 12 and I couldn't figure it out Heck, I still dont know... Probably something related to work.

Dh is still sleeping, he is usually a super early riser. I'm tempted to check if he is still alive, LOL. We both have a vacation day which we typically avoid like the plague ( I mean on the same day, not the vacation part), but couldn't be help this time,

Everybody:

**I would like to thank everybody for doing "it". I was supposed to work a 4 hour shift yesterday and ended up staying over 12. And babies were still being birthed when I left. AND I have to go back today.

And on top of everything else yesterday, we had a code. Brittany and I were the first nurses in the room and there was a 9 yo laying in the floor and his mom was screaming. (we share our floor with a peds unit and we help each other out and stuff). Coding a kid is NOT a fun way to start an already crazy day.

All I will say is be careful what you wish for, because I certainly asked for more hours. Why is there no happy medium???? lol
