Neither did I, Sandy :sad

I got an email from "facebook" today:

Cheryl sent you a message.

Subject: Yoour *** lookks awessome on tthis viideo!

"HA-HA-HA!!

with a link. The link came up with a warning to never enter your password unless on a facebook page, so got out it.

I thought it was strange that Moo would send me message on facebook with a comment about my awsome astatar on a video, LOL

ETA: This message was actually was from Cheryl "Grammyof2"

when I clicked on that link on facebook i got this:

The link you are trying to visit has been reported as abusive by Facebook users.

Nope, Marita . . . no astarstar videos from me!!! :lmao: I got that from Grammy too, but there was no link to follow. I just got that message.

Sandy - Isn't that quite a long ways for your DS to ride a bike??! Yikes.

:grouphug: I hope instead of that little black cloud following you around, you soon have :sunny:

bbn - My new swimsuit finally was delivered today and it even fit! So NOT a two piece!!! ;) I really needed one because the pool chlorine is causing my new one to disintegrate.

Moo, yay for the new swimsuit. I still have my 10+ year old I never wear except to the cruise last year for the cruise, but only to sit on the beach. Chlorine is no issue for me, LOL.

I just spent a fun 2 hours with technical issues logging inot work. I lost all my applications. Uninstall, install, reboot, call IT, blah blah blah.... Anyway, its finally working again, whew!

DS called today, he got his options for his next base. Unfortunately, none in Florida. He is putting in for Denver area, 2 bases around there. He aced another test :thumbsup2

Hey all! I've been at Camp O for the past few days - it's a summer camp for kids with kidney disease. I am wiped out!!!

sandy - send me a pm with your cell number. I'll send you texts next week.

hi to everyone else!

Sandy, won't send you a text. I dont iknow how to text if my life depended on it.............

Hi! No time to read back, but just checking in to say, I'm still here, just really busy! Love y'all!!!:grouphug:

Hello? Anyone home?? I am in Orlando! Hollywood and I drove down Tuesday. Throughout the drive I counted 17 flea markets, lost a hub cap somewhere in Tennessee, had my car driven into a pole in Georgia, and finally made it to Florida! Wednesday was my first day of work. I'm scheduled 6 days on/ 1 day off for the next few weeks. I'll also be working some doubles (breakfast 6:30-12:30, dinner 4-midnight) so idk how much I'll be around.

I didn't prezackly read back. Forgive me?

I would also like to take this moment to inform everyone that the napkins at Chef Mickey's are now BLUE instead of GREEN. :faint: Provided you have all recovered from that revelation, I would also like to mention that THE PLATE IS GONE!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, so I exaggerated a little. It's a new plate. It's fancy and gold yep yep yep! Moo, I have to say your new DVC home away from home is looking quite fancy as well! There's lots of people bustling about over there getting things ready!

What's new around here?

ahah! There really are people around! *g

Marita :yay: for DS! (boo none in Fl for him!) How's the knitting coming along?

Moo :woohoo: on the new suit! (hey everyone''s modeling 2 piece suits doncha know!) LOVE Land's End's Tankinis! :goodvibes (it is an investment - but mine is at least 5 years! I tend to pack it, but never put it on! :rotfl:) Yes, biking to Chicago is 40 miles by the train tracks - it was beyond ridiculous - which is why I'm concerned. I think he's freaking out!

Celery :goodvibes PM sent! Hope your Camp was AWESOME! Giving of oneself is always a blessing!! I'll bet those kids had a blast - taking their mind off of serious stuff...

Allie are y ou doing VBS too?

:banana:TGIF:banana:

DH took me to Home Depot to get tools for the trip :sad2: "Why do I need a caulk gun?" its on the list... but "I dont know how to use one" its on the list... I dont give a... fine, buy me a caulk gun! (and so on!! :rotfl2:) Then when we went to WalMart "why do you need razors?" because... "more deodarant?" YES... "Wet ones, wont you have water?" I need them... :sad2:

We have to pack 90% of our gear tonight - its going by trailer. Then Sunday at 5am we take our daypaks pillows, snacks and head up!

DS took a train into Chicago. DD is outside. I'm obsessing! (where is my list, I had a list, now where'd it go? Where is that duffle bag - we had 2 a blue one and a green one?!)

:wizard:
Blessings Moo'vers

Allie are y ou doing VBS too?

Yes, but they moved ours to July this year. :confused3
I've been busy with our summer two day a week preschool. I haven't balanced yet. :teacher::mad: Goog thing is that I have always had MORE money than I was supposed too. :confused3

Those work trips are lots of fun to pack for.....NOT! ;)

DS goes on his mission trip at the end of July, so there will be lots of prep work for that.

I had to have my finger put in a splint yesterday. Injured it during Field Day back in April, but while at my parent's, it started to bulge at the knuckle and have a bruising look to it. Ok, that was like a MONTH after I hurt it. :confused3 Anyway, it just hasn't looked right, so the Ortho. dr. put it in a splint to hyperextend it, so that it will straighten out. I can still raft with it though. :yay::cheer2: I always go white water rafting with DS and the church kids around the 4th of July. Although it's a pain to type with, but I'm getting better. ::yes::

Peej - That sounds like some brutal hours, but mucho $$$$

Sandy - Goog luck with the trip next week. Can I send you texts? Oh yeah, you can't use your cellphone, can you? :confused3 Sneak away and call me if things get really bad, I owe ya' one. ;)

Several of our kids at camp had specially made blankets. When you're on hemo dialysis, you get very cold. It's always a constant battle between the staff and patients.
The staff is hot from running around taking care of the patients.
The patients are freezing from having blood sucked out and losing between 2 and 4 kg of fluid over a few hours.

sorry.
rambling. :)

PJ you snuck in!! Thanks for the informative post! :thumbsup2 Of course I havent eaten at Chef Mickey's since welll maybe 15 years!! :rotfl2: Maybe I should try it again? :confused3 I did enjoy looking at TR with people at the plate!!

:scared1: WHAT a trip you must've had!! Glad you made it safe!! (you are safe right?!!)

Allie ouch!! Yes, this packing is overwhelming - has anyone seen my __________.... :sad2: I'm currently looking for my noise machine, so I dont have to listen to snorers - that wouldnt be goog!

Celery thanks for that insight!! We make the fleece blankets for Linus Project http://www.projectlinus.org/ It a nationwide project people all over make blankets, quilts, etc and there is usually a person that collects the blankets and then takes them to the hospitals that will accept them! Every now and then you will see on tv a neo natal unit with a blanket on top!

The Project Linus Mission

Project Linus is comprised of hundreds of local chapters and thousands of volunteers across the United States. Each volunteer and local chapter all work together to help us achieve our mission statement, which states:

First, it is our mission to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”

Second, it is our mission to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.

Together we have distributed over three million blankets to children in need since our inception in 1995.

:goodvibes

Good Friday afternoon to all! Today is my 11th wedding anniversary! My darling children got up at early o'clock to go outside (in the pouring rain!) and pick flowers from the yard for me. When I dragged myself out of bed, they surprised me with them......so cute! They also made us a giant poster of the 4 of us together playing in the yard, along with 2 cards made of construction paper. Precious!

Presently, I am waiting for DH to arrive home from work so that we can go out and enjoy a child-free dinner at one of our fave local Italian restaurants. Child FREE, people! This is a rare treat, I tell you! The last time we had dinner without kids was for my birthday, if memory serves. (That's January, just so we're clear.)

EEK! Hope that you, H-wood and the Peejmobile are okay! :scared: Sounds like a fun trip?

Blue napkins and a new plate, eh? I think I need a trip to the World to see for myself! That's a perfectly good reason to travel to Florida, right?

One of my cousins just got back from WDW last week. While he was there, he and his wife bought DVC. They bought at the Contemporary. He was so excited that he called me in the midst of his trip to tell me all about it. *sigh*

Moo, I don't think I've had to upgrade any software to play our Scrabble games lately. I do notice that the app runs awfully slowly lately. Pretty annoying.

Hey sandy - if you ever need a place to give blankets to, try contacting brady's smiles (bradyssmile.org)
It was started by a couple after their young son died. Providing "Brady's Blankets" is one of their missions.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY LYNETTE AND MR LYNETTE!!!

A kid free night sounds great. Where do I get one of those....

Tonight I have one extra kid for a sleepover. They are watching everything Jonas Brothers, Camp Rock and Sonny with a Chance. Nicholas is at the last teen dance, until Sept. that is.

Poor Hubby is going to have to watch the hockey game on the small TV :lmao:

Been so busy doing kids stuff. My sister was over yesterday for supper before she went home and then we had to rush to a school play. Next week is crazy busy too for end of school stuff.

P.J.-- you sound like you had quite the trip to Florida. I think we need more details about the car and the hitting a pole. You are going to be some busy for awhile. Hope you manage to have some fun there.

Sandy-- Sounds like you are in for an adventure. Sorry I don't know how to text either.

Celery -- How is the dating scene going? It is Friday night are you going out?

nabbers - no date tonight. Maybe tomorrow night? I can be hopeful, right?

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Celery.

I'm not doing much either. Just finished up ironing. I put the clothes out on the wash line again and there wasn't enough breeze to get all the wrinkles of hubby's t shirts.

Just read that the boards are going down at 9:00 !!!

What will I do all night now.....:rotfl:

Nabbers - you could've been on facebook! Me and marita chatted on there for a minute.
then I went to bed.

which means I'm up before 7 on a saturday.
Riley thinks I'm crazy.
he went back to bed because he thought we were just up for a potty break.
:lmao:

hey, i got up at 7am too, which never happens!

DD wants cabbage rolls tomorrow, ughh! they are a ton of work. I agreed to make them in exchange for some pics from her trip to CA to visit my son. Sad when you have to resort to bribery, LOL.

I HAVE to get my nails done today. I hate that, the most boring hour evah!

ETA: I am about to choke the entire WDW IT team
